Wizard mode

Wizard Mode is a state of being commonly experienced by Wizards. It is similar to Hammertime, except more retarded and profound.

Wizard Mode was first experienced by Mickey Mouse, who at Disney studios became unstable and rampant. He proceeded to tear of the head of anyone foolish enough to come near him, and simply harm anyone in his way.

[edit] Causes

The cause of Wizard Mode have been disputed since the -14th century. Many mathematicians and communications teachers alike have strived to discover the main cause. However, it appears to be that a number of psychological and environmental causes contribute to the activation of Wizard Mode. In one instance, Harry Potter experienced Wizard Mode after being struck in the face with a custard pie. The effect was similar to that of an elephant exploding. Harry Potter was, unfortunately, killed in this event, so proper studies could not be conducted on him.

Causes may include:

Annoyance or Disturbance, such as a firefly or a frying pan. Oral abuse, such as random insults and/or compliments. Narcissism. Narcissism of anyone in close proximity (10m^2) to subject.

Uncommon causes may include:

Boredom. Abuse of Television. Billy Joel songs.

[edit] Connection to Physics

The famous physicist/wizard Smeargle (yes, he is a wizard) wrote his opinions of the connection between Wizard mode and physics. He concluded that a single particle was responsible for the brain disturbance that in turn causes Wizard Mode. These particles, however, can only be manufactured within a Wizard. When said wizard is exposed to triggers such as mentioned above, the particle -tau gravitron is created in the cerebrum. This causes three immediately noticeable effects:

1. Gravity is temporarily negated within brain for 0.000053 of a second (this may cause disorientation, and more severe, immediate degeneration of the cortex) 2. The particles immediately combine with certain metals inside the brain. This may cause melting of the cortex or cerebrum (may be partial) 3. The particles travel through the brain stem, disturbing spine and also activating what has been referred to as "ownage powers". (some physicists have replaced the "o" in "ownage" with a "p" after including blood pressure factors).

The part of the brain that controls reasoning, mercy, and happiness is suddenly overridden with foreign commands, most of which are violent. The wizard may or may not use his powers. Most resort to physical violence prior to melting of the cortex, however. If the cerebrum is sufficiently damaged, the wizard's powers will bathe the brain and leak out through the eyes, nose and mouth, which has a 73% chance of becoming explosive.

The equasion for magical powers' effect during this phase is:

3.5(x) + -tau(yx)-b

Where x = initial magical powers, -tau(yx) = the net amount of -Tau gravitron particles, and b = intelligence. (Ironically, intelligent people are less able to control their power than non-intelligent people).

[edit] Neurological and Physical Effects

Many times, the subject dies after 5-10minutes of Wizard Mode. However, those who do survive may become paralyzed or become unable to reproduce. However, some wizards survive subsequent episodes of Wizard Mode if they have never ingested the following metals:

Nickel Cobalt Uranium Deuterium Aluminum

The -tau gravitrons combine with these metals, which cause the most disturbance in the brain. If none of these are present in the brain, there will be remarkably less brain damage.
