WMD 2.0

The WMD 2.0 is the next generation of weaponry. Designs and theories differ on what scale death they will cause, but trusted experts have guessed at somewhere between cataclysmic and apocalyptic. A new world race has begun. The first country to invent and make a WMD 2.0 will go on to rule all others.

In 2007 the Iranians unleashed their prototype, having worked on it for several decades. The fleet of weapons attacked world capitals causing major loss of life. Luckily the world responded, managing to destroy Iran's battle control centre, turning it into a nuclear wasteland the size of a continent. From later analysis of the machines the world extrapolated its first doomsday components, that could be manufactured into a makeshift doomsday device. After being defeated the last 5 Iranians on Earth released the following statement:

Today, it is suspected that the project is being continued by small asian immigrant children in Mexico. The United States government has been closely tracking these events, but with little success, which is why they have failed to alert the public. Because small asians are planning the world's demise, a Counter-Little-Asian-Immigrants force has been arranged. All of this information is classified, and was stolen from a top-secret F.B.I mini-van.
