  5. Kalir got -98 points,
  6. And you got -100!

Thanks, now I'm waaaaaaaaaaay ahead! ~ Ghelæ talkcontribs 16:29, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Just wanted to say thank you for your contributions to Un-Bestiary. You created three entries, but unfortunately in the wrong format. Please pay attention to the parameters of doom next time. Still, great work, so you can take this userbox template:

{{User Bestiary}}

And this one for being punished by Uncyclopedian:

I realize that the article will never be featured, but I want to ask what to be people want? A article with a few pictures of a horse, a long poem about a “Putz stealing Hanukah”? I don’t get it! Thanks for your support though. Weri long wang 16:58, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

You did the template for Zork, right? If so, can you help me do a green-text-on-black-background image-capable template for Grueslayer? I'd love to work with the great L. --Emmzee 00:28, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

I saw the very nice Template:Shakespeare you sporked from wikipedia. Link it to shit. I'm gassing up the lawn mower while I wait to see if you can make it work. I'd recommend Category:Movies as a starting point. Bone_F_clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 05/31 21:20

Well, there's a bit of a problem - the humour in Template:Shakespeare is entirely in the link names vs. mouseovers. How else are you s'posed to know that Toilets for the Large Person equates to King John?
So, I reckon there are three possibilities:
  • Leave them red, and wait until our delightful patrons create witty, erudite articles for each of the corresponding plays. (See also Template:USpresident?)
  • Make them link to Wikipedia articles.
  • Create a bunch of misleading redirects. (Antony and Cleopatra -> Cleopatra. This wouldn't quite work for the comedies such as As You Like It, though.)
(P.S: Does that "doom" sound effect play every time you enter a room?)

--L 10:21, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Well, you missed at least one possibility: Famine just deletes the template. Sure, it's a good idea. And it's got great humor potential. But the problem is that it will take a very, very long time for those articles to be created. If they ever do. I'm not exactly sure that it's worth keeping a very-red template filled with broken links around in the hopes that someone else magically makes a dozen perfect pages to go with it.
Link it to stuff before my mower gets it, next lap around.
And as for my room-entry song - It's more like the imperial march. Bone_F_clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 06/1 22:39

Hey, don't worry so much about the copyvio; can't claim copyright on those quotes since a) they're what people have said, so you just can't do that, and b) because the quotes are submitted to them; they can't assume any rights merely by being sent them. but nicely done for removing them anyway -- Prof. Olipro Icons-flag-gb KUN (W)Anchor Op Bur. I saw down on VFH that there was a big issue revolving around your sig, as it doesn't link to your userpage. Well, if you don't want it to be blue and underlined, all you have to do is make an actual sig and use the "nounderlinelink" tag and make the color black. Just an idea, because it is a little annoying that your sig doesn't link to your userpage. P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon Baloon(Tick Tock) (Contribs) 16:34, Aug 26, 2007

Specifically, this code would do just that: <span class="nounderlinelink">[[User:Zork Implementor L|<font color=black>L</font>]]</span> -RAHB 09:56, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

And, well, you understand the Uncyclopedia/Wikipedia causal relationship. --L 05:36, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Quick question...

You know about spin-off games such as Zork ultimate and Zork Pwned, right? They share the same category as Zork. I remember in their early days, their edits would flood the original Zork's Recent Changes page. Is that a problem? If it is, I could fix it. If not, i'll just leave it there. Conniving 12:05, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

You know what would be extra nice? If you or someone created a new Zorkheader template for each of those games, and changed each of those games' pages so that they used their own template, and altered each template's category inclusion so that each of those games' pages were in their own categories. Then things would be nice and tidy. --L 16:44, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
My sentiments exactly. I think i'll start with Zork Ultimate. Conniving 21:44, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

One down.

Game:Zork_ultimate is done. That took a good while. O_o Conniving 01:17, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Three down.

Zork Pwned and IE Zork have their own categories now. I think that's all of them, but do you know if I missed any? Conniving 02:09, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Hey guy, what's the deal with you wontonly deleting a pile of DYK submissions, including the only 2 I have ever submitted? I have been waiting around patiently for a real admin to move things into the approved list, and here you go yesterday just shoving things aside. It really makes it a waste of time to try and contribute to anything but an article on this site. I am seriously pissed off, but then what would you care.--Sir Shandon GUN (Talk) (Trophy Room) 15:44, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Your username appears nowhere in the edit history of Uncyclopedia:DYK submissions, so I can't adequately respond to your assertion that your two lines did not deserve deletion. However, I defend my belief that the vast majority of those that I removed were below reasonable quality for the Main Page (and, if you check the bottom of Template:DYKdb, you'll see that most of the better ones had in fact been approved.) Since you disagree, feel free to demand a second opinion from an admin if you wish. --L 10:31, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

I did them anon because I wanted to see the results. IMO they were better than over half the crap that was left on the page. Several on the 'approved' page are just like them in "quality".--Sir Shandon GUN (Talk) (Trophy Room) 09:52, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
