I won Perv of the Month

Sorry that you lost, I'll vote for you this month though if it makes you feel any better. Welcome to the machine MATTHLOCK 19:33, September 5, 2012 (UTC)

Ok. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 20:20, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

VFS

There seems to be a broad amount of support for your proposal, so if you wanted to start up a thread in MiniLuv, I don't think anybody would object (except POTR, of course).

Hello again, sir.

Just finished requesting my meaningless articles here to be destroyed on sight. By the way, how do I customize my signature, sir? Kevz64 (talk) 03:22, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

Ok I deleted your pages. For more information on creating a signature, read this. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 03:43, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

User Name

Doesn't this user come within the unsuitable name remit? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 06:21, September 18, 2012 (UTC)

There is no such thing. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 06:47, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
In that case, do you think that is a suitable or an acceptable name for a user to register with or are you going to wait and see with this one? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 07:39, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
I don't think banning people based on their usernames makes any sense. If we are going to ban them, it should be based on their contributions. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 07:46, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
So a user can call themselves anything? I had operated a policy that any user calling themselves for example 'FUCKFACE' etc would get a ban, regardless what they wrote or not. I am not including signatures here as they can be changed. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 11:11, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I have seen you ban users for their usernames in the past. I disagree with all of those bans. Nowhere do we tell users that they can't name themselves whatever they want, so I don't think it is fair to ban them for their username. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 16:49, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
What about user names that incorporate cyberbullying as part of the handle? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 17:08, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
Cyberbullying and usernames such as "User:ChiefjusticeDSisgaygaygay" are obviously created with malicious intent. User:FUCKFACE or User:IRAPELITTLEKIDS or User:Fuckthafakehiphop are not obviously malicious. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 17:41, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
To be fair... ChiefjusticeDS is gaygaygay. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) Icons-flag-au 08:55, September 20, 2012 (UTC)

Terribly sorry

I mistook Uncyclopedia with another Wiki I moderate and mistook the Yankees page as spam as it would be in the other context. Damn, I feel dumb right now. Again, sorry and know I'd not advertently do such a thing. --JustinOther (talk)

Ideas for ICU and "New User Month"

ZB, why not just get rid of the 7-day notice on ICU? Just put the "This article needs more work" tag on it, and they'll see it. They won't be discouraged or afraid of their article getting deleted, they'll just get help with it. Also, maybe try making a quicker Pee Review alternative, such as a QPRV, and have an IRC channel so they can get advice for the article at any time. If this could be a plausible idea, I'd take full responsibility. Obama-change Barack WeinribZ ObamaObama-change 14:30, October 1, 2012 (UTC)

I don't understand why we would get rid of the 7 day notice on ICU: ICU is a deletion template. Pee Review only works when we have people doing Pee Reviews. We already have an IRC channel where people can get advice. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 15:48, October 1, 2012 (UTC)
Well, maybe ICU shouldn't be a deletion template. As for PRV, I feel like it's too much work, and maybe a little over-analyzing. I think it should either be revised and revamped, or we should make a QPRV. Just my opinion, maybe I'm lazy. And if you don't like that idea, maybe we should just make a good effort to improve PRV. Some iframes on my website

Hello Excuse me for my poor English, I do what I can to ask that. Coming here just to ask if there is no problem for you with the manner I include some iframe with an uncyclopedia random page on my website (that nobody reads anyways for the moment). an exemple is on the page monpauvrelieu.com/band/cecile-de-mibemol/ There is no real advertises on the site. If ever it would be really a problem, I can remove that, change the credits texts (ACHTUNG, I don't use php, so nothing that would be adaptative to the random pages is possible) within one day (the maximum time I read the answer meanwhile). Thanks Daniel Mypoorlugar (talk) 21:35, October 5, 2012 (UTC)

It looks like the judging period for the noob competition will need to be extended since the stated deadline is past, and even I haven't finished doing *all* the entries yet. Thanks for the judging that you have done so far, please keep going! FFW forum link

I just linked Uncyclopedia:Forest Fire Week in a joke within a New Year's Eve themed article strategically set to be featured on Monday. If you could change the redirect the new forum place, if for any reason for some kind of minor publicity, that'd be greeeeat. Same with the other redirects for the sake of convenience: FFW, UN:FFW, Forest Fire Week, and some hypothetical ones I may have missed.

Interestingly, the aforementioned joke links to the mirror Uncyclopedia, so that could subtly tie into the fact that we're leaving Wikia and we already have a replacement mirror site set up. -- Kip > Talk Works Puzzle Potato Dry Brush CUN Icons-flag-us 13:21, Dec. 29, 2012

I think you are confused. Uncyclopedia:Forest Fire Week should not be a redirect to a forum page as it is the official Forest Fire Week page. On the forum when I say we are going to "set up a page", I was referring to Uncyclopedia:Forest Fire Week. Instead of changing several pages to redirect to a forum that will soon be outdated, maybe you should just link to the outdated forum directly from your page. Also, please never ever link to the Evil Carlb Mirror Site, it is evil and semi-illegal and every time you link to it a baby dies. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 16:35, December 29, 2012 (UTC)
Uncyclopedia:Forest Fire Week current redirects to Forum:FFW 2011. I was under the assumption that Forum:FFW 2013 would become the official place for Forest Fire Week 2013 after the vote. I figured, what's three days early to change a redirect? Subliminal advertising. That's what.
But, hey, it's not like the entire joke depends on a link. I just thought it would be interesting to tie it into all the crap mentioned above. -- Kip > Talk Works Puzzle Potato Dry Brush CUN Icons-flag-us 16:57, Dec. 29, 2012

Low, low priority thingy and high, high priority thingy

This is not even an issue, as it barely impacted on me, however I tried logging in and my autofill threw in my old Username, and spat me back the following lovely stuff:

(redacted)

I've just done a cut and paste of it directly here. I'm calling it low prio as nobody is likely to have a similar issue, but on the off chance that there's a benefit in having this info... well, you have this info.

I've also hit a couple of "Server hangup" issues. In short, I can't edit there atm. Hence the post here. (And could you ask Frosty if he's watching any particular pages here? I was going to tap him on the shoulder as he edited here over recently, and he is still an admin here, as far as I know, but he's locked his talk page. Which screws me up when I'm locked out of the other bifurcation.)                               Puppy's talk page09:02 08 Jan

Gee, thanks for posting debugging info on the wikia site; we are looking into it. In the meantime, please do bug reports with specific info on IRC (if you have any trouble posting it on the new site); look for Isarra, Zombiebaron, ashley, Skizzerz, RAHB, or me. Stuff on VFS

I thought I'd address you directly here. I'll reiterate - I am assuming good faith of anyone who has moved to en.uncyclopedia.co. I'm happy for that site to succeed - but not at the cost of this site. I'm sure your intentions are to keep both moving smoothly, but you're divided. I don't doubt good faith at all - I know you are honourable in intention. It's more the capacity to do the best for both sites. (There are individuals I'm less assured of intention - much the same as most believe I'm trying to destroy the fork. I started editing here, and intend to remain here. If content I created hadn't been moved over, I wouldn't even visit the fork. Except to say hello occasionally.)                               Puppy's talk page02:46 22 Jan

Is this a reply to my question about why Sannse was called in to do my job? -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 02:50, January 22, 2013 (UTC)

Forum:Inactive admins / Forum:Cow tipping

Hey. As a mark of respect I'm bringing these to your attention. On the first a discussion has been raised as to what should be done with admin rights, now that we have a glut of admins that are non-active. I'm considering bringing this to a vote tomorrow (my time) but I'd rather that those who have admin capacity choose to relinquish the privilege rather than be voted out - assuming they are inactive. (Given inactive admins outnumber active regulars, there is a definite need IMO to make a change - especially given the actions of Xamralco, Frosty and RAHB recently.)

On the other - the point you raised was germane, so I added it back to the discussion. Interesting to see the parallel discussion being held at the fork and a very similar outcome being reached that was within CC licence.

And the other thing: How's it going over there?                               Puppy's talk page08:09 06 Apr 2013

I am already aware of the inactive admins discussion. I was going to offer some council, but lately I have felt that I am not welcome on the Wikia site, so I decided to keep quiet. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 18:29, April 6, 2013 (UTC)
This is your talk page, and I've raised it here. If I didn't want your counsel I wouldn't have asked.                               Puppy's talk page12:36 07 Apr 2013
Well that's sort of the point. Every effort has been made to make people outside of the small group of regulars here feel unwelcome. It seems obvious to me why those of us who now contribute to uncyclopedia.co find it hard to edit in both places, and have been deemed inactive. If individuals are causing problems those individuals should be dealt with individually. Throwing out all the old admins would be a break in Uncyclopedia tradition and in my opinion yet another step in the wrong direction. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 05:28, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
Actually, I'm making the effort to welcome people back here. The only exception is when people are acting against the interest of the wiki - the instances I can think of are damaging edits that promote the fork on a site-wide fashion, like RAHB's recent banner or EMC's changes to nav tools, or acts that damage the content, such as Xam's attempted deletion of a feature. And that's my only concern, but why I raised this topic. Your own edits have been predominantly your complaint over how Chief was 'cratted, and in many of your edits adding yet another link to the fork. At the same time, I read the equivalent forum topic on Cow Tipping, or several other recent forums at the fork, and it seems as though it's considered a running joke to attack myself at the fork, along with other regulars here - which has had the net result of me refusing to do anything at the fork with the exception of a few suggestions I've handed to BB, and comments on a few forums. I am happy to have people contributing here if they're focused on making this wiki better. If there are people who want to improve both wikis - like Al - then they're welcome here with open arms.                               Puppy's talk page07:59 07 Apr 2013
I would like to ask how linking to Uncyclopedia.co is a form of harming this site. It does not magically decrease links to this uncyclopedia. If you would like to completely censor all references to the fork, please assist us in removing the 15,000 or so links to wikia that exist on the fork.
I edited your stuff as an April Fools joke, because humor wikis deal with jokes. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) Icons-flag-au 08:36, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
I left up the edits because I thought it was a April Fools joke in good faith, even if inconvenient in a temporary way. I could have reverted the edits before SPIKE did, but instead changed my preferences to the Wikia skin for a few hours so that I could get admin functions working with the Oasis prank. So I am partly to blame here, too. I would have reverted RAHB's change to the site notice, except that on the fork, their joke was that they were all returning to Wikia, so their front page actually promoted us. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 08:40, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
So this is your version of welcoming me back? -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 08:45, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
Frosty - based upon what was asked when we added the link to the fork to the site banner back in January, we don't want to use site wide notices to advertise the fork. That hasn't changed.
ZB - are you planning on coming back?                               Puppy's talk page09:37 07 Apr 2013
I never left. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 09:49, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
Too much weirdness for me. In my limited viewpoint, wikia uncy is the uncy that's censored and has a stupid content warning on it, and I wish we'd all unite in asking wikia to undo at least the content warning part (boobs, I can do without, who can't? Useless bags of smooth flesh, hanging their enticingly, why would anyone waste film/pixels on those?). Uncensored uncy is where lots of people mull about and two of them toss up 50 feature noms on a daily basis and chaos is running after solidity with all eight feet off the ground all the time. It's fun too (I can't edit much there because of my computer connection not allowing some search functions, so I move my pages over once I feel good about polishing them here). To have a rivalry is counter-producive to both sites, and I'd wish we'd all settle on those definitions: Censored uncy and UnCensored Uncy. And the censored bit is just some sexy juicy pics, and obvious child porn like the Vietnam iconic pic that all of us masturbate over on a daily basis (napalm is the ultimate afro-tease-e-ack), not in use of language (not yet anyway). I'd give Frosty a break on the April Fool's trick, it's the same one we've used before so he may have thought it was funny, and Sims did leave it up. Most of the admins have been fine here, and the only negative of any user I've found are the ones trying to say there is only "one" uncyclopedia when obviously there are two versions, one visually censored the other not. I never thought anyone has left, even if they keep saying they have. Aleister 12:11 7-4-'13
p.s. One point though I haven't brought up anywhere, I think we should combine yearly award listings (at least, I'd do monthly if it were just me). For example, both Funnybony and TKF won writer of the year last year, and imnho both sites should reflect that.
