Just wanted to let you know that I read all of your articles today and thought they were funny. That's all, bye-bye. --So So 09:48, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

edit Rome photo in Byzantine Empire article

Thanks for the comment; sometimes an undoctored found picture is funnier than a doctored one. I've no idea exactly what it is but I think it's some sort of theatrical production with very very cheap props. It was the guy holding up the pillar that got me - it sort-of fitted in with the dilapidated state Rome was in at the time (apparently Belisarius found people driving cattle through the forums which I adapted to the more-purile-and-therefore-more-funny defecating in the forums). --Zarbag 17:58, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

edit From VFH

I can get a friend of mine on this site to nominate the article if you really want. But that would be pointless. Please don't pointlessly force me to do that.

Sorry, not how we work, and I'd suggest you lose the I-can-bend-the-rules attitude as quickly as you can. You self-nom, you get a Pee Review. It prevents crap from getting on VFH, and it helps you understand if your article is really funny or not.

Also, if you have to keep putting up warnings that you have to "get" the article in order to review it, it's probably not that funny in the first place. An article aiming for VFH should be able to stand alone, for the most part. Additionally, "X is an asshole" is extremely overdone and tiring.

I'm glad you've got it on pee review now though, smart move. I apologize if I'm being overly blunt about things, but your comment got me pretty pissed.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  SU&W) 19:56 May 13, 2008

Rawr, I get needlessly pissy now and again, if you'll forgive me. (Actually, I managed to piss off the entire site in one forum post... not proud of that, but I may as well admit that I did it.) The condescending tone on VFH was what got me annoyed. But it's over with and done now, now I notice the comment on VFH withdrawing the nomination.
Sorry for being so annoying about a very little thing. You're right, we shan't be enemies over something like this. The tone struck a nerve & nothing else. Anyway, I'm off to go do something useless probably. Toodles, sah!  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  SU&W) 23:22 May 13, 2008

"That was a smart move, kid" he says implying that anything else would not be smart and may wind you up underneath a particularly heavy doll's house.
Oh well. Anyway, thanks for voting for on this!

Early Music Ensemble - I have read it. Actually it looks like a real wiki article . In fact i may go out and buy me a copy ! Now if you are asking me if it is funny...well.... I think the idea needs approaching from a different angle. I am not sure which one but as it stands - the article is too plausible !

edit Early Music Ensemble

I read the article and it's pretty good - made me laugh a few times which is more than a lot of Uncyclopedia articles do and the idea is rock-solid. All I think it really needs is a few minor edits (the names of video games should be in itallics, of instance) and I can't help but think there are a few sections that can have more funny squeezed out of them. Overall, though, pretty good. You might want to stick it in Pee Review for a more detailed critique. --Zarbag 09:28, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

edit Radiohead

OK, I'll take your word for it. It does look rather like the "add random keystrokes all over the place" vandalism we suffer from, though - but I'm not a Radiohead fan, so I'll bow to your greater wisdom. :-) Rabbi Techno Icons-flag-gb kvetch Icon rabbi Contribs Foxicon FOXES 09:14, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

A-ha, I see. The invisotext thing is a good idea - might be necessary to place it after each heading, what with the quickedit function. Ought to teach me to check page histories in future, too. :-) Rabbi Techno Icons-flag-gb kvetch Icon rabbi Contribs Foxicon FOXES 09:27, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
