edit Welcome!

Hello, Uncyclomancer, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Uncyclomancer/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!  --Uncyclomancer 22:03, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Is this a self welcome? Is that allowed, against the rules..beyond the realms of common or garden decency? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 11:49, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
Okay, firstly; I never got a welcome message and secondly; "beyond the realms of common or garden decency?" *Snob*, I'm hurt. If you say that again, I'll feed you headfirst into a industrial sized meat grinder. --Uncyclomancer 15:15, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
Mmm, now that may well be beyond the realms of common or garden decency. ~ Pointy *shifty eyes* (talk) (stalk) -- 20101019 - 15:27 (UTC)
Mmm, intresting, you have given me alot to think about. --Uncyclomancer 15:39, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
Oh, quite. I pride myself in weaving disastrously coincidental undertones into my messages. ~ Pointy *shifty eyes* (talk) (stalk) -- 20101019 - 15:44 (UTC)
Oh, good. So do I. Did you know that the Mongoose was invented by Oprah in 1378 B.C --Uncyclomancer 15:45, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
'Lies! The Oprah did no such thing. I know! I was "there."  Avast Matey!!! Happytimes are here!* Happytimes.gif (talk) (stalk) Π   ~ Xkey280 ~  20 Oct 2010 ~ 00:34 (UTC)

edit Yes, welcome, and glad you came over

Good to see you here. Thanks for your note on my page, and I'm glad you appreciated the gif I discovered on random pages and brought to my page. What it concerns is something you may be experiencing. When you log in, does your main page have a moving ad gif, and are their ads alongside the left half of your pages? Some of us are concerned about these things which are showing up on some new user pages and some older pages of users who haven't logged in for awhile. What does your page look like? Enjoy the site, and remember (brand of your wrist, as we all do) the holy laws of Uncyclopedia! Thanks. Aleister 1:10 22 10

The new wikia look, well, looks ugly and it does not feel or look like a parody of wikipedia. Anyway, I have changed my skin. --Uncyclomancer 10:06, October 22, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, that's what the war thing is about. Wikia just threw this up there for new users, and it is hell on earths. Thanks. Saw the sockpuppet thing below. Socks, if used at all except for the more long-time users who play once in awhile, are not for voting or things like that. Best to lay off them until you get the lay of the land here (look, over there, Scotland!) Aleister 13:20 22 10
Prehaps, you could tell him to go fuck himself with a rusty coathanger. Hahahaha! -- No, best not to. --Uncyclomancer 14:14, October 22, 2010 (UTC)

edit Sock Puppets

I noticed you said you had a sock puppet to Spike. The admins don't like people here with sock puppets, especially if they start voting in favour or against an article. In the past this wasn't always enforced but it is now. So I suggest you just use this account when interacting here. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 10:36, October 22, 2010 (UTC)

I like sockpuppet culture. --Uncyclomancer 11:33, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
Not here. Try Conservapedia for that if you must.--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:23, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

edit Help!!

How can I help you? --Chiefjustice32X 15:55, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
Is it possible to change my username? I have been thinking...if I created a new account and then re-direct my old one to it, then would that be okay? --Uncyclomancer 15:57, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
It is possible to change it completely, speak to Sannse who is a member of Wikia staff and only they can change usernames. Before you do that you need to read this and understand it. Or you can do as you suggest above, make sure you do not use your old account again without telling an admin if you do choose to do this, because if you abuse it or appear to be abusing it, both accounts will be blocked. I will remove the help template now, if you have any more questions feel free to ask. --Chiefjustice32X 16:08, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

edit Banning

Since I had unofficially adopted you Uncyclomancer, redirects are a no-no. Serve the one day ban and try NOT logging in here with another name or using sockpuppets in the meantime. If you still want to write stuff, create an account at the sister website The humour there is a bit different from here but you can work on articles in your user space there. Many uncyclopedians have accounts in there as well (as I do). If you want to talk to me today, go to and leave a message there - not here. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 11:44, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
