Hello, Tritefantastic, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Tritefantastic/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply put {{adoptme}} on your Userpage to join. Again, welcome!

Keep it

Keep your template, just make it prettier with a boarder and a colour or something. We don't really care about licensure or crap like that. We have templates for a lot of stuff, mainly pictures, but who cares...-- Sir Severian Severian1 CUN (Sprich mit mir!) Kraut 16:08, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Things you shouldn't put in your mouth template

I don't know if the above section refers to this, but I believe that while wikipedia's licence doesn't allow uncyc stuff to be used on there (we're CC by NC-SA, meaning the content is not allowed to be used commercially, and wikipedia content must be able to be used commercially), it's fine the other way round, so it's perfectly OK to use wikipedia stuff on here. Besides, I can't see anything that the licence could apply to in that code, it's just a standard wikitable, which I'm very sure are allowed! I'll go ahead and re-add them to the pages they were on if that's OK, seeing as the licence stuff seems the only reason it was taken off, and as it's pretty funny and makes a good way for readers to get to other good articles. Regarding quotes in The Prisoner

Hello. I noticed that you reverted the quotes I added to the article The Prisoner. My rationale for including those quotes was that I was merging content from the VFD'd page Number 6 (which has now been replaced with a redirect; see Uncyclopedia:Pages for deletion/archive48#Number 6). I will proceed to reinsert the quotes unless you have objections. Please raise objections on my user talk page, not yours. Thank you very much. Pentium5dot1 00:47, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

DuMont Television Network

Hey Trite!

Thanks very much for this beautiful article. I wrote part of the Wikipedia article, and your version is hilarious! Sooo awesome! Best wishes and happy editing, Firsfron 20:02, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

I've left my support for the DuMont article. It is really well-written... just a great parody. Good luck with the FA VFH nomination! Best, Firsfron 03:11, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi Tritefantastic, UU here in answer to your question on my talk page. Yes, I did read the article, but sadly, I don't think my vote will be forthcoming. I appreciate that it is a well written piece, and having viewed the Wikipedia article, I can appreciate both your point and your intentions. The thing is, sense of humour/humor is a subjective thing, and I'm afraid I just didn't laugh at the article, which is the main criteria I apply when voting for highlight. If I was voting based just on prose and observation, it may have been different, but Uncyc is about making people laugh. Looking at the votes, it did make other people laugh, so I guess either my sense of humour is out of tune with quite a few people, or I still missed something! (And in case you were wondering, I do feel a bit hypocritical making such comments when I haven't written anything that would merit even a single for on VFH myself!). Good luck with the nom, hope enough people prove I haven't a clue about what's funny, and you get your highlight! --Sir Under User (Hi, How Are You?) VFH KUN 08:20, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure what happened. Can a single individual just derail the process like that? 8 supports and then... DENIED! just like that? Please tell me a 14 year old kid does not have the final say concerning the humor in an article about 1950s kitch. Firsfron 09:11, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your Pee Review

The subject line says it all, but because I feel the need to take up space I'm going to repeat it. Thanks for reviewing Ode to the Monotony of Life, good improvement advice is sometimes hard to come by in there... I'm reworking bits of it now and I have to say the middle runs smoother. And I've somehow managed an image. So I'll probably be re-submitting it for (hopefully) a final tally soon. But anyhow, just wanted to thank you.

Also, Litefantastic? Is that a Terry Pratchett reference?  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  SU&W) 08:32 Apr 29, 2016 21:16, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your opinion

I appreciate that you took the time to read my article, even if you didn't like it much. I'd just like to point out though that "granary" is an adjective in certain contexts (it's the word used in the UK for what we in the US call whole wheat). I'm sorry if you feel that it sucks, but then again you probably wouldn't like any of my other articles either. ^_^ --The Acceptable Thinking cap small Cainad Sacred Chao (Fnord) 03:20, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Since you voted for Blue Screen of Death on VFH, your user talk page has encountered a fatal addition of a template.
To correct this problem, you must either:
1. Accept SRXT's sincere thanks, or
2. Go and buy a better PC, you cheap bugger.

Natalie Merchant

What a great page! Thanks. Even though I really like her music (although I haven't listened to it in years, hmmmmmmm), and Jewel's (ditto, hmmmmmm), just don't fuck with Sinead, man. Would be great to have a good writer back here again, and you too, if you have the time to write or edit once in awhile or always. Thanks for the good read. Aleister in Chains 3:18 17 6 MMX

And it's now broadcast, and you are listed in UnNews:UnNewsAudio#Other writers whose stuff got broadcast--to which you can add your national flag, if you care. Spıke Ѧ 17:43 17-Jun-10

Hey I just stopped by to compliment you on your story, it was great. However I really like Natalie Merchant so now I hate you; so I guess it's win-win for you. Cheers!  Avast Matey!!! Happytimes are here!* Happytimes.gif (talk) (stalk) Π   ~ Xkey280 ~  18 Jun 2010 ~ 03:56 (UTC)
I actually kind of like some of her music. Really. -Tritefantastic 03:57, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Hello fantastic lad

Thank you for your UnNews, I especially enjoyed the one about the cell phone in Iraq, as I read them all because I'm the all important UnNews editor. Your last one is well-written, but I just don't get it, I think there could be more jokes per square inch or am I totally missing the concept? I moved it here: User:Tritefantastic/UnNews:"This Might Be Giant," say Lincoln Police. I'm don't want to be rude or anything and nobody was available to give me a second opinion, maybe it needs a little polishing on the humor side? Because the prose is alright, it shows that you are a good writer. Feel free to leave me a message on my talkpage my friend :) Snowflake mini Mattsnow 02:59, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

OK, great, I don't know this band at all, that's why I didn't get it at all. OK, then, I'll move it back. Do you think enough people know the band so it would be a good idea to put it on the frontpage? I really never heard about it, sorry for that lol Snowflake mini Mattsnow
Damn, I'm trying to move it back, they say to wait for the servers to cool down or something, so I renamed it UnNews:'This Might Be Giant,' say Lincoln Police (the ' instead of " being the difference) Snowflake mini Mattsnow 03:22, January 24, 2012 (UTC)
Awesome. Try to make'em so even a bastard with no culture like me can understand lol Cheers! Snowflake mini Mattsnow 03:53, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

Wow, you''re Uncyclopedia's old blood.

But you only pop in once every 18 months to do an article? For shame. Stick around. Don't some work. Have a mint julep. Do!  ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usTue, Jan 24 '12 6:30 (UTC)

Trite uses a lot of Phoenix Down potions, but not the Cure Magic! XD (gotta know Final Fantasy to get that one :P) Snowflake mini Mattsnow 02:20, January 26, 2012 (UTC)

UnNews:Tupperware Rave Is Huge Success

LMAO! Short with a lolpunch!! I'd be willing to put it on VFH, I think it could do well, just wanted to say if you wanna add something else. If you don't, well let's say I'll put it on VFH in 3 days. Call your friendly UnNews editor for details. Snowflake mini Mattsnow 05:33, January 26, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, I just voted to keep your article on VFD Somebody nommed it there, not mainstream enough is what I think the reason is. I'll throw Tupperware (now that one is mainstream) on the VFH pile, let's see what happens! Whatever happens, I hope you write moar of these! Snowflake mini Mattsnow 05:48, January 26, 2012 (UTC)
Done: Uncyclopedia:VFH/UnNews:Tupperware Rave Is Huge Success Wooo I'm out of breath. Snowflake mini Mattsnow 05:56, January 26, 2012 (UTC)

UnNews:Locals Relieved Doom Finally at Hand

Loved it. ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usFri, Mar 9 '12 11:23 (UTC)

  • I'm glad! And sorry I didn't get back sooner; I was out for a few days. -Tritefantastic (talk) 17:00, March 15, 2012 (UTC)

Hello. Have you checked out your DuMont TN page for awhile? Lots of edits since you last logged in, and you would know if they were good or bad or changed the flow of your idea. I came across it when looking at the Static gif you used on it in user space. Thanks! Aleister 2:02 29-3-'12

The Newt Gingrich UnNews

cracked me up! I put it on VFH, that was hilarious. BTW, If you want to read and vote on a couple articles that would be cool, VFH is not lacking in good articles, but it is lacking in votes. Later! Snowflake mini Mattsnow 20:31, March 29, 2012 (UTC)

Please don't bash Ron Paul in your upcoming UnNews :S. He's not getting his fair shake in the media, but he has a rabid base of supporters, and his campaign is funded by the people, (small donors) not the banks. He's the most honest politician I know, I've been following him since I stumbled onto him (on the net lol) in 2007. To me, all the other candidates are crap since he's the only one who'd bring the soldiers home immediately after getting elected. I'd be very sad to put an article on the front page bashing him, but of course if it's fun, then I'd do it... I'm so Freedom of Speech and all! ;) Here's an article I wrote a while ago about the media bias against him, if you want to read. It's not too good, but that came from the guts: UnNews:Fox News uncovers Ron Paul's demonic past! Snowflake mini Mattsnow 19:26, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
I appreciate your past support, but I really don't think you should be asking people to not write things here. -Tritefantastic (talk) 19:32, March 31, 2012 (UTC)
Oh well, forget it then, it was only a suggestion, you're right we shouldn't do politics on this site. Snowflake mini Mattsnow 21:40, March 31, 2012 (UTC)
Whoops. What we, Dexter and I anyway, used to do when someone attempted censorship, was make the page more painful to them than before. So I think an anti-Ron Paul page is in order. Ya ha ha. Aleister 22:03 31-3-'12
I bet that tritefantastic could make an anti-Ron Paul UnNews that would crack me up any way :D Snowflake mini Mattsnow 22:16, March 31, 2012 (UTC)
How many Ron Paul supporters does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Four. One to design and build the lightbulb from scratch, and two to whirl the fourth guy like an airplace propeller in order to screw the lightbulb into the behinds of the FED. It's called free enterprise with a chaser. Aleister 22:30 31-3-'12
I was kidding guys, you take my 'fanaticism' a bit seriously. The Onion did some pretty nasty pieces on him and they made me laugh really hard! I'm having his name tattooed on my balls, how revolutionary is that, uh? Revolution! Snowflake mini Mattsnow 06:13, April 1, 2012 (UTC)
Whoa. I really thought I'd voted for your Newt Gingrich UnNews long ago, and when I saw an IP edit it I checked out the nom page (it had no VFH nom template on it) and I wasn't there! I am now, voting Symbol against vote Against. of course, hahahahahahaheeheeheehee. Aleister 8:49 4-4-12

Good luck :)
