I am not NXWave! Woohoo! -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 20:18, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Dammit, I am. Fuck. I knew I should have done more research before adding that rule. Hey, do me a favor and read over what I have and tell me what you find objectionable. My goal is to piss off as many people as possible with these rules. Sir SysRq (talk) 20:24, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
I agree with everything. -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 20:29, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
I like you. Sir SysRq (talk) 20:32, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
That's nice... -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 20:34, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

edit Couple of remarks

  • Count me in as the admin in absentia (meaning - when you want to update the front page, drop me a line).
  • Why do we need to have ranks everywhere?
  • Why do we need to talk about NXWave everywhere?

~Jewriken.GIF 14:52, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

  • Thanks buddeh!
  • People like to have little three letter abbreviations in their sig.
  • I want some sort of loophole in case the bugger shows up.
Sir SysRq (talk) 15:02, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
You don't need a loophole. You need me with a ban stick. ~Jewriken.GIF 18:13, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Could this, by any coincidence, be your ban stick? -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 18:22, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
That's obviously my dildo. Pay attention. ~Jewriken.GIF 18:22, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Obviously we need moar...never mind. Sir SysRq (talk) 19:39, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

edit Another point

I'd like to change the rules so every regsitered user can nominate and vote rather than just members. As for the participation of members in the actual colonization - that's up to you. ~Jewriken.GIF 12:30, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Alright. That was actually an old rule that I thought may be a good idea. But that makes sense to let all registered users vote at least, if not nominate. The community at large can make known their concerns. I think I'll change that rule. Thanks Mordillo. Sir SysRq (talk) 19:42, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
I think it would be a very good idea to let registered users to nominate articles as well, for two reasons: first, by not letting them you're creating a "private club", which would be a first amongst all the various usergroups. Second, take myself for example - unfortunately I don't have the time to participate. However, I have many ideas of articles I think that we need to improve. If you limit the nomination to the ten-fifteen people who work in the group, you lose a lot of the plurality you gain by letting as many people participating in the nominating and voting process. ~Jewriken.GIF 19:55, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Makes sense. I've got no problem with that. Thanks again! Sir SysRq (talk) 20:22, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
No probs. Did you see the site notice? ~Jewriken.GIF 20:35, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Hm. I did not. Perhaps I should sign out to see it, or try a different browser. Would that explain why a lot of noobs are coming to IC? (Not that I'm complaining, rather I'm delighted to see IC get this kind of attention!) Sir SysRq (talk) 21:06, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Okay, now I see it. Looks great, thanks buddy! Sir SysRq (talk) 21:08, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Don't forget the free booze! ~Jewriken.GIF 21:34, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Whose booze? Sir SysRq (talk) 21:35, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
