It's cool. I made the same mistake a few months ago, and I've been here for years. I really do like your rewrite though. You've taken what was a bundle of lists and made a coherent article that reads like a funny Wikipedia article, which is kinda the point. Did you write it off-site first? I have a tendency to be more complex. My personal favourite of my own back catalogue is Love, but the two that have had the most attention have been the sharp jokes like Microsoft knowledge base or the big ones with lots of detail like Game:Alone in the dark. Thanks Snippy. Forgive me, I'm not familiar with the protocols and correct procedures for editing such a page, and will follow them to the best of my knowledge in future. The 'Social Capital' page may be somewhat unreadable to some, but is closer to the meaning of the term 'Satire' than most other things I've come across labeled as such, which has been associated with random memes tossed together in one big meme salad; this is closer to the definition of 'Not Sequitur'. Below this text box we're asked to be funny, not stupid -- my attempt at making a serious contribution to your site with the intent of being silly with world affairs as well as with the hijacking of brains by brain hijackers, not quick fix short term memory bombardment of sundry Chuck Norris and Star Wars cliches. Sorry for being a somewhat inconsiderate about being considerate about professional material for a reading adventure designed for laughs rather than the same o'l tune of belching whatever. I'll make my complaint about the ICU to the respective editors. Peace.

It's okay, man. I'm pretty sure everything has done something wrong their first time here (I did, you can see by reading my talkpage :P). And yes, there a lot of mediocre articles on the wiki that need improvement or even deletion, which is probably why standards can be a bit strict for new articles, so to not add to that number. (About the formatting: I wasn't calling you out on it, just noting that I fixed up some spaces and stuff)

And if you want advice on your article, post it to Pee Review, hopefully someone will pick it up and review it.

Create a file either here or here, depending on which theme you are using. Then paste this code into it:

importScript( "User:Bizzeebeever/scripts/patrol.js" );

Save your changes, then clear your cache (instructions on that page). Boom! Now you can patrol multiple edits on Special:RecentChanges with one click. (Patrolling is used to "approve" edits by IPs and users who don't have "autopatrol" yet; I'm sure you already know this, but eh.) Edits which have yet to be patrolled can be found more easily here.
