Thanks for supporting me as an admin. I hope I can live up to the huge expectorations of Uncyclopedia and UnNews.

No problem. I was actually just about to leave you a note telling you it was featured. I believe this qualifies you for the position of Commander of the Order of Uncyclopedia as well - a bit of lagniappe to sweeten the deal. --Sir RcmurphyCUN 01:16, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
S'alright, the pictures on the Order page were lined up kind of wonky-like. --Sir RcmurphyCUN 04:09, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Love the new templates. The grey matches my eyes -- Codeine 19:26, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)
haha oh well :) Conflicts make uncyclopedia fun! And if you don't agree we will find you >:( jk --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere 00:53, 14 Sep 2005 (UTC)
(Attempt #4! conflicts!) Oh, I see you moved your redirect notices to the top. It is somewhat annoying to put new convs on the top of a talk page, because that little (+) button by the edit button adds the new convo to the bottom by default, so cheers! Have another cookie! (But, go get it yourself, I'm done baking! heh) --Splaka 00:53, 14 Sep 2005 (UTC) PS Another edit just to conflict you maybe! woo.
While I do appreciate the cookie, I believe the sig template idea started with Elvis. I just stole it and did it up right. In my preferences, I have "raw sigs" checked, and {{User:Famine/sig}} in the sig field. Nothing to it. Just slap the regular sig in, and it's all automagical. But I'm still eating the cookie. ;) --SirFamine,Gun♣Petition» 01:17, 14 Sep 2005 (UTC)
heh w/e you deserve one anyway :) i gave elvis one too just to be fair right now --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere 01:19, 14 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Sir Famine, admiring the pretty flashy lady. has awarded you a cookie! Now go play in traffic.
Yay! Also, sorry for the double post, silly [+] button.
heh its cool :)
Interesting. I'll have to keep this in mind for the future...though without the use of the thumbnail option its use might be limited. We might want to look into changing the featured article image at least, since those are so visible...except I don't think external images can be resized, so maybe not. --—rc(t) 02:26, 16 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Well, what you can do, is if the image is on uncyclopedia and being used in an article at a resized resolution (that is: used in an [[Image:]] tag employing a ###px parameter (example: Image:Reallyweird.jpg at Really Weird)), you can link to it externally by the resized size (right click, copy image location/properties/etc) and link to that url (http://uncyclopedia.org/images/thumb/8/85/50px-Reallyweird.jpg small version) as long as wiki has it cached (as long as an article uses it at that size, I'd guess). Also, you can put it in a table to do most other needed formatting... Example to the right: --Splaka 02:33, 16 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Why dont the mediawiki people have something simple built in, in the first place? Although goodwork finding these tricks Splaka :) --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere 20:34, 16 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Probably has to do with the open-ness of wiki. Any embedded image on any page can be clicked to find the date uploaded, user who uploaded it, license, comments, and version history. An encyclopedic entry has no need of spiffy image links. --Splaka 20:41, 16 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Btw RC, For example for the current featured article. What I'd do (and was going go, except Template:Featuredarticle is protected, heh), is put [[Image:Nihilism.png|thumb|100px|<br>]] on the template's talk page, and then insert the code in place thusly:
Close to what you want, but not dead-on; my table/style skills consist of "Find what I want and steal the code". Anywho, just a thought. --Splaka 20:54, 16 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for figuring all this out. I finally got the image link to work on the featured image template. Danged question mark in Dude, Where's My Time Machine? was giving me (and the template) fits for a while... --—rc(t) 06:02, 17 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Nifty! Your welcome! Btw: If you are going to do this often, you might want to keep the thumbnailed image on the talkpage for the template, so you can just change it each time along with the template (as well as remove the old one easily). Cheers. --Splaka 06:05, 17 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Gah. Obviously. I give up, I'm terrible at life. Or at Uncyclopedia, at least. --—rc(t) 06:13, 17 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Hey you! I've nominated you for admin. Chron said he needs more (lazy bastard) and part of my parole (for saying no) is to find some other suckers volunteers for this thankless wonderful job. Accept or decline the nomination here. --Splaka 20:06, 20 Sep 2005 (EDT)
Are you aware that we both just killed the articles listed in qVFD by squeezing them to death?--Sir FlammableKUN 20:52, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Haha I knew someone was doing the bottom ones, but I wasnt sure who :) I think I like this job. also, could you give me some tips on blocking users? like for how long based on what? for example, 1 vandalism is worthy of how many hours, on general principle, etc? thanks :) --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere 20:53, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)
That guy seems quite annoying, if it is ongoing vandalism, you might try a Range Block (if it is enabled) for a very short period of time. Also, welcome to responsibility, bwahaha. --Splaka 21:57, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)
heh thanks for pointing that out (wondering if it had a feature like that) but for this guy, I'm gonna follow EvilZak's lead and ban this guy into October (a range block wouldnt be good for this). but thanks for showing me :) also yeah, its amazing some of this crap. and now I have homework :P oh well its still fun :) next time you should accept --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere 21:57, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Oops, ok, I'd already made a list: 63.19.158.*, 63.19.132.*, 63.19.198.*, 63.19.220.*, 63.19.153.*, 63.19.193.*, 63.19.148.*, 63.19.153.* would probably keep him out (But you wouldn't wanna block all those for more than about 2 days I'd guess). So, use or not. Cheers! --Splaka 22:04, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)
You made a "I'm a n00b banninator" comment, so I figured I'd share some of my words of wisdom, since I also made such a comment when first adminned.
Every admin is different. For some it depends on the day and the article. Personally, I don't bother banning one-edit anon-ips. Reason being that if all they did was mess with one article and leave, they probably aren't coming back. If they come back with another IP, the ban doesn't make a difference anyway. If I see two+ edits, I assume they aren't just passing through, and banninate. My ban-time is variable based on number of articles defaced vs useful edits, type of vandalizm, mood and moon phase. And random number generation.
As for a lot of IPs which all are from the same block, I follow the above strategy. I always assume that they are separate users, and separate edits. If an IP block ever becomes enough of a problem that we ban the whole thing, then we do it up right and ban the hell out of it. --SirFamine,Gun♣Petition» 02:33, 23 Sep 2005 (UTC)
heh thanks :) I really appreciate your help, its like I know Uncyclopedia but when you're made an admin you have so many things you realize you still arent sure about. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it now though, and thanks again :) --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere 11:48, 23 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Do not revert my OWN edits to my OWN page for Redneckpedia!
whoops my bad. I didnt realize you made it, and for this small instance, I apologize. But listen man, you are really gonna have to cut the other crap like vandalism and page blanking, ok? I wont ban this IP for now, even though I should for ban evading, unless you do something stupid. Also another thing, its not smart to mouth off admins, I should ban you just for that. Next time you have a problem ask nicely. If you really want to settle down here and change, create a real username, too.--Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere | Talk 00:46, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Admin page vandalism is such a no-no. Kill it. It will make us laugh. Wa ha ha!--Sir FlammableKUN 20:05, 14 Oct 2005 (UTC)

This is my first article which intentionally offends anyone (Except hippies, vegetarians, Mr. T, conservitives, liberals, gullible people, police officers, Americans, Bob Saget, Eminem, French people, bling people, fat people, pirates, and the mentally challanged), and I've always wanted to have a flame war the way the rules encourage, so if you want to get back you could create another article in your defence :). --PaulgbTalk 20:50, 14 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Your Peer article really should have been featured today, but I (and some others) determined to put up the AAAAAAAAA! article to rankle the AOLers who keep vandalizing it. I hope you don't mind too much. Peer will be the next article featured. --—rc(t) 17:13, 21 Oct 2005 (UTC)
I'm curious - do other people's cursors blink? Mine are always stationary, but I may be changing that without thinking because I have a deep-seated aversion to blinking things. »BrigSirDawg | t | v | c» 20:28, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
well some do, and others don't depending on the program, and I just thought it looked kinda cool :) i know windows cmd has a blinking underscore but i'm not sure which Linux terminals do or don't blink --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere | Talk | Rate 20:30, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
Now everything is formatted wrong. We need the wiki formatting and html to work. »BrigSirDawg | t | v | c» 22:59, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
Fixed, however i may refix it in a less hackish way if i can figure out a better alternative (i prefixed every line with a instead of an actual space) --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere | Talk | Rate 23:24, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
No need to add a space to the front, just have to have the ticks and html tags work. They do now, so that's what really matters. If you can do that without the spaces, by all means do it. »BrigSirDawg | t | v | c» 03:38, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
While Template:Sisterprojects looks better, there still shouldn't be edit buttons in it (as it appears on some pages that don't use __NOEDITSECTION__ like the Main Page does), as they screw up the section=## number when trying to edit other sections. And one can't put NOEDITSECTION in a template as that removes the edit buttons from any page it is included on. --Splaka 07:35, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Hmm on what pages exactly does it have a problem? If it works on the front page isnt that fine? --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere | Talk | Rate 19:45, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
That is short-sighted of you. Those templates you added headers to are used on many pages. The reason I removed the headers is a bug in MediaWiki 1.5, where the wrong §ion number is *sometimes* assigned to the buttons, so clicking the edit button causes the wrong section to be displayed in the edit window (this can happen under other circumstances too, like by having a <!-- --> comment on the same line as a header). Also, the headers for the template are put in the Table of Contents. *Also*, the edit buttons in the template link to the templates which shouldn't be so accessable. So any template that appears on a page that allows section editing shouldn't have headers. So just because the main page looks fine doesn't mean other pages do. --Splaka 01:57, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
Oh ok, well we can make them resemble real headers instead of actually being real headers --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere | Talk | Rate 02:58, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
Yes we can. The problem is the <h2> tag still leaves an edit button. And I can't get the css work to fake <h2>, which is why I changed it to fake H3 a few days ago, which you just replaced with real H2 (and hence this problem). However, an H2 can be better faked I learned later by not underlining it, and putting in an <hr style=";position:relative;top:-.5em"> --Splaka 03:13, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
OK, I've made 3 templates: {{H1}} {{H2}} {{H3}} --Splaka 07:26, 28 February 2006 (UTC):
hehe thanks :) i was definitely here before that but I took a while to register or do anything with my account, i forget heh. Happy Unbirthday! You have now officially been an uncyclopedia member for one full year. Must suck to be you!
Not a great reward, considering that many of the graphics that are integral to our templates were created by you. Were I an important user and not a shadow, I'd K(UN)night you myself. Maybe an admin reading this will agree, and do it on my behalf. Have a good day anyway, and know that you and your contributions are appreciated, even by those you don't know well. --207.250.21.33 17:23, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
To bad I can't knight you, although I did read it. Happy Birthday Wacky --BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 22:25, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
heh dont worry about it, being a knight would be cool, unfortuantly i havent done any of the required stuff to become one.. but then again Elvis and I did design the system (well Elvis designed it and I went crazy with it) so if any KUNs, DUNs or GUNs would like to give me a special order KUN status.. hint hint.. heh --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere | Talk | Rate 22:27, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Please explain your rationale for the recent deletion of Hockey. It had a VERY long history behind it; are you quite sure it's not worth reverting to, say, this point [1], before the significant damage was done? --DW III 02:09, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
I restored it.. i just saw random strings of spanish and assumed that it was messed up or something :P plus it kept getting vandalized :P --Maj Sir InsertwackynamehereCUNVFHVFPBur.CMInsertwackynamehere | Talk | Rate 02:17, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Ok; please note that I also restored the complete history (was necessary to delete whatever had been put there since) and reverted further back. --DW III 02:30, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Cuppa Joe got whacked due to limited content - I grabbed a bunch of it and merged it to Cuppa Tea with a handful of my own additions. Still not sure what to do with Peesa Cake - it's not that strong, but I have no idea how to spruce it up. Any ambition on your part? I spared these during Forest Fire Week because I thought that some good could come with a little TLC. I think Cuppa Tea is good to go now, but I don't know about Peesa Cake. Windows movie maker, (pronounced: This total piece of crap) is a free linear video editing aplication spread through the internet as a virus by Microsoft. It is well known for its auto-lag feature, believed to be stolen by Sony for the upcoming PS3. While it was once compatable with all platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and Unix, it is now only available to owners of Windows Vista I Can't Believe It's Not Ultimate, in order to increase Vista's sales.
Movie Maker 0.3645.6659.2 generated GIF animations of a rotating ice cream cone of any color (limited to a 16-color palette). To meet user's demand for more features, they released Movie Maker 2 which lacked undo and captured video by stealing it from Google's spider database.
Movie Maker 2 featured all the capabilities of windows media player, captured video to .wmm2 format, could save projects, and undo. The upgrade recieved much praise from critics for its simplicity because one no longer had to spend time editing, and could still undo the captured video.
Movie maker 3 vista is reported to feature editing capabilities, thus recieving a negative public response. Microsoft also chose to remove undo for more a retro appeal, and add an on-screen video capture function of the blue screen of death to share with repair technicions.
Thanks for the add! (and I'm glad I don't have the responsibility of an admin)--Dagibit 02:34, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Is there any appeal for a huffed article? I realize that humor is not something that can be justified, defended, or explained, and so all I can say is that I would appreciate a second opinion as to whether or not this contribution was funny or not. Rick Wood 13:16, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Would you mind cleaning up the mess I've made by my adding images to the article poodle(the picture of the woman) and the "squirrel poop theory" section of the article squirrel (and also rate them)? Sir: I have written an UnNews article and furnished it with footnotes. Being somewhat familiar with Wiki formatting, I am positive that I have inserted the notes correctly; however, although numbered items appear in the text, they do not redirect to the footnotes, nor do the footnotes appear below the body of the article. Do UnNews articles simply not support footnotes?
