Fresh new talk page

As white and pure and loving as the Pope. --ShabiDOO 00:30, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

Soothing about excessively long talk pages.

I saw your complaint about it. It's been an idea sitting on my back-burner for ages, that I've started to kick in, on an "abbreviated" talk page idea. Rather than displaying the whole page, what we usually want is in the last 2 or 3 sections. If I could create something that allows me to vies those last few sections it's be fantastic. So I started working on a concept. Getting the last section transcluded is a doddle. Getting the last few is much more code intensive, and if the page is overly large) say exceeding 100 sections) it adds even more issues. I've experimented at the mirror with a few ideas, but have hit server limitation issues. The server there is not as robust as it is here, but even so, server load is server load, and I'd need to minimise it. Once you've viewed a section, then being able to edit it is a slightly different beast as well. Then there is the problem of having a page to store things. I could have one page that accessed x amount of users talk pages one at a time, but it would have limitations (ie, having to code in which user you were looking at and how to select who was who.) and then there are users who have "unconventional" talk pages. The main point though is that a "solution" to the issue of loading large talk pages on a smart phone is potentially do-able. It's a bit of work involved though. There is an alternate way to do this using JS, but that'd be more a Bizzeebeever solution, as my JS sucks. What are your thoughts? --                              Puppy's talk page01:21 06 Jul 13:21, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

And I bet you're glad you cleaned up this page now. --                              Puppy's talk page01:21 06 Jul 13:21, July 6, 2012 (UTC)
Hey puppy, glad youve been trying to fix broken things in the meantime. Well...summer it be in the northern hemipshere, meaning laziness and whateverness. Glad someone will be working on things!!! --ShabiDOO 14:20, July 7, 2012 (UTC)

Started a new section so you'll know I'm alive as a rock can be and that I've started my office chat-test thing but it's just started and not ready yet and I love you

Have you started yours? Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Sleeping Cat 16:56, 16 July, 2012 (UTC)
? SORRY but I just saw you from recent changes... Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Sleeping Cat 18:50, 16 July, 2012 (UTC) I havent unfortunately. I have little online time here...and I've dedicated it to the retro thing that I've been organising...and voting on VFH, which I dont like to miss. I read your scenario, I liked it...though we may want to reconsider the "its your daughter" line. Can we keep the line equally shoking but without going down the road of incest? --ShabiDOO 19:47, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
Ah, you're one of those busy businessmen! I understand. Removed the incest-part, it was quite too shocking. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Sleeping Cat 07:53, 18 July, 2012 (UTC)

Why did you remove the nice poem??

I liked it :P Snowflake mini Mattsnow 03:27, July 14, 2012 (UTC)

Hahahaha...they are the lyrics from Justin Biebers song. Its very profound stuff!!! --ShabiDOO 03:33, July 14, 2012 (UTC)
You listen to Justin Bieber? This may damage our friendship.                               Puppy's talk page12:14 17 Jul

Thanks for your help with my article. I've never actually been to Andorra. All I know is that it is the only country on Earth to have two cows on its flag (fact used courtesy of Sheldon Cooper) and that it's really small and it, along with Luxembourg, Malta, Vatican City, San Marino and Liechtenstein, can fit inside the state of Rhode Island.

So thanks once more with my Andorra article. If you have any more ideas you can submit them to the article or you can over them with me on my talk page and ask for my approval or whatnot. Have a good day! Or night... or whatever. Welcome to the machine MATTHLOCK 17:32, July 18, 2012 (UTC)

For making a noob feel welcome. Ratfactor (talk) 18:11, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

Knock-knock! You home?!

Hi! I seem to remember some impudent chap importuning me for a share button. Was that you?!?! Was that you!?!? YES IT WAS! WHO'S AN IMPATIENT LITTLE SHABIDOO? WHO? YOU ARE! YES YOU ARE! GOOGA-GOOGA-GOOGA! Peek-a-boo! (tickles Shabidoo's feet)

Anywho, I have just the thing, and it's going to be added site-wide at some point. However: I need a couple of people to test it for me, first, and since you ...y'know... asked me for it on my talk page ...twice... I naturally thought of you. Here's all you need to do:

1. Cut and paste the following code into your monobook or uncyclopedia javascript file (depending on which theme you use):
importScript( "User:Bizzeebeever/scripts/sharing.js" );
importStylesheet( "User:Bizzeebeever/styles/sharing.css" );
2. Clear your cache using the instructions on that page

Any ideas for improvement would be appreciated (although I'll probably just ignore them and then pelt you with rotten peaches and dried-out pickles). Thanks! ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usThu, Jul 26 '12 21:15 (UTC)

Awsome...I just did that java thing on my java page (which I did not even know existed). It works aboslutely perfectly. The only suggestion I would so either make the share button bigger or put it at the top as, I didnt even realise it was there until I scrolled down and was searching for it. But it looks really really really COOL!!! I here-by award you 100 Uncyclopedia-Bucks. Spend them however you like :) :) :) --ShabiDOO 22:01, July 26, 2012 (UTC)
Cool. I can certainly make it taller, and put it near the top of the page, but if I make it wider, it may cover up some elements (like the edit-section link) which would piss some folks off. (I think it may do that anyway in monobook.) I was hoping that its blue color would make it stand out from the rest of the page. Keep testing it, and let me know of any bugs you run across. Oh, and P.S.: Java is not the same thing as JavaScript. :)  ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usThu, Jul 26 '12 22:11 (UTC)
Indeed. You are wise BB. But not the same as poop! We must always remember to discern the subtle shades of meanings. The thing about having the tab in least on my chrome...the lower bar is blue...and the scroll bars are also blue...and so maybe the share doesnt stand out because of that. Maybe. Could be. Perhaps. Depending on the weather. And such. And so on. --ShabiDOO 22:39, July 26, 2012 (UTC)
Ah, I see! Could you show me a screenshot? Because I don't have Windows 7 (that's what you're using, right?). If this tab really blends into the background, I may try and come up with a different color or shape or something. ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usFri, Jul 27 '12 0:52 (UTC)

Here is a screen shot. Though...maybe its really just my browser with the operating system I'm using. Blue is a nice colour afterall. --ShabiDOO 02:01, July 27, 2012 (UTC)

Wow, XP just like me. Lol. I definitely see what you're saying, about it not being prominent against that color scheme. Vista and 7 are a little less blue, and Mac OS X is mostly silver, but from what I've seen of Windows 8, blue is pretty standard. I'll see what I can do. ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usFri, Jul 27 '12 5:56 (UTC)

Hey Shabi

Your uncle scooby called. He says he wants his little suffix thing back. Ha, I bet you even talk like him too, what with the excessive amount of R's and stuff. --Something smells... FISHY. hmm... 04:18, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

Miss this message? Welcome to the machine MATTHLOCK 19:51, August 3, 2012 (UTC)

Hey. No I didnt. Id like to work on it...but I'm pretty busy this summer and I am working with Cathtecolourful on an article now (so slowly I think its driving him crazy). So if you are patient, then yeah, we could colab in September or so. --ShabiDOO 20:40, August 3, 2012 (UTC)

My pleasure funnybony. Dont worry about the nillion article, I could do an economic one in a similar vein. Cheers
BWAHAHA you forgot to sign you post thaz the funniest shit EVAR lololol! Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Sleeping Cat 09:39, 19 August, 2012 (UTC)

Shabidoo & U

Shabi, mate, Nillion is a take on the concept of infinity being economics (if there was no debt ceiling that would solve everything). And it's a poke at a piece of history you might not know about, e.g., The Uncounted Enemy lie scandal where Westy caused an extra 30,000 American teenagers to be killed in Vietnam (and a million more Vietnamese) by his dog-faced lying about real enemy troop strength. A lie which prolonged the war a number of unnecessary and bloody years. I give the Wikipedia link to the scandal in case you like a good story. Anyway, we are collaba-taters on this, and I think it's ready for VFH. But will you vote for it? Cheers!--Funnybony Icons-flag-th Agnideva-small.jpg AGT-logo-small.jpg 19:33, Aug 26

...light up my life

Hello, and thanks for the kind words about Peacock. I haven't been back since, and am glad you liked it. I've been out of the loop here for a few months, so am unaware of anything going on, just like in real life. But I will return with a vengence some day (not a literal vengence, but writing a lot) and will look forward to working with you again. Ghosts and goblins!!! Al 16:14 October 4

Sleep is nothing. Come back to Magic man's horny battlefield and discuss our options! --POP!GoesTheWeasel Evil-clown 10:55, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

I can't replicate that bug

I updated Chrome, and the share-tab works fine for me, so I'm going to assume it is some issue with your version of Chrome--one of your extensions, perhaps? Let me know if the issue has gone away. Thanks. ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usSun, Nov 4 '12 11:33 (UTC)

Who starts the article?

Now that we've reached some form of conclusion, Magic man is suggesting someone starts an article. Problem is, no one has. Or has someone already started an article. Forgive my ignorance, it is contributed from my inactivity because I recently moved into a new home and as you know, in the first few days, my Internet gets real horny and stuff. --POP!GoesTheWeasel Evil-clown 04:08, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

I didn't mean to piss you off by reverting all your edits to 1947 Horse-Throwing Competition. It's just that that's one of my favorite articles, and I spoke to one of the guys who was a part of TOAST, and he wasn't too impressed with the changes, either, so I figured I could change it back, and you would understand. The thing is, it may have issues, but it is also written from a lunatic's perspective, so it's hard to improve, you know?  ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usSat, Nov 10 '12 6:06 (UTC)

I'm not pissed off. How did you get in touch with TOAST?
By the way, turns out it was some kind of blocker I was using that didnt let the like button work. Having said that, don't you think its time to make it go global? --ShabiDOO 15:12, November 10, 2012 (UTC)
I'm glad you understand; I just happened to talk to Mr. TOAST Dude #3 because he and I are both on IRC a lot.
As for the Sharing tab, yeah, I would've liked to have it site-wide two three months ago. Problem is, I need an admin to fiddle the MediaWiki:Gadgets page (and a couple others), and unfortunately, none of our (two) active admins seem to know anything about that sort of thing. It'll get done ...eventually. I guess. ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usSat, Nov 10 '12 17:04 (UTC)

I never said hi

Hi. A (Ruins)22:45 18 November 2012

Also, I agree with you: A double-intensity FF month is a great idea. We can trim all that sucks and than grab everything else and go. Now we need the admins to agree. A (Ruins)15:37 19 November 2012
