If I might just have a quiet word about your recent nominations on VFD... Hea, it's great that you are showing an interest in improving the quality of the site by helping to get rid of some of our bad articles... But, could I ask for some better reasons for why you want pages deleted in future? Simply saying HTBFANJS for each nomination simply is not on. If everyone did that what would be the point of even having the comment section? We need specifics. I'm not telling you don't nominate on VFD, heaven knows, we need people to show an interest in VFD, and it's great that you have. However, we have had trouble before with people making lots of nominations without really thinking them through. Maybe you did think them through, I don't know, and I can't tell. Simply saying HTBFANJS for each nomination is not acceptable. Thanks. Also, don't forget to vote on the nominations made by other people as well as making nominations yourself. Cheers, and happy VFDing! :-) MrNFork you! 21:08, Jun 9
Mistook your edits to the Video Games portion of You Have Two Cows as vandalism at first. Probably might have helped to provide explanation in the Summary as to what you were up to though, for such a massive change... that's just my opinion, though. Anyhow, sorry about the misunderstanding, no hard feelings. -- Hanyouman 19:13, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
I've seen your sig travails, and here's the deal: you create the page in your userspace, for instance User:Sabrown100/sig. Then you go to your preferences, and in the "signature" bit, you put {{SUBST:nosubst|User:Sabrown100/sig}}. Then you tick the "raw signature" box below it, and save it, and things should work fine. The pages you've created outside of your userspace while trying to figure this out should be deleted, so I'm going to list them on QVFD. Ask on my talk page if you're still having trouble. Cheers! --UU - natter16:40, Nov 4

Cough* - I didn't just make any kind of mistake there myself, and just correct it. Oh no! --UU - natter16:44, Nov 4

Yay! (See you around the wiki). --UU - natter16:45, Nov 4
Appreciate what you tried to do but consider the following:
Please don't change main pages without talking to an admin first.
The template you placed completely distorted the page - there was a big template on top and then a sliver of a lead article rather then seeing the article as soon as you go in the main page.
We mimic wikinews, and that template pulled us away from the original.
Personnally I don't know what that guy was so worked up about. I just wanted to correct his mistake...
Also I don't believe we've spoken before so I'd liek to extend some formal greetings: Pleased to meet you! :) SKSirOrian57Talk RotM 11:55 17 November 2008
Honestly, blanking pages makes a whole bunch of noise, and while you realized your mistake, it's a lot less noisy to move User:$1 to User talk:$1. --CharitwoTalk 21:17, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Nם actually, moving the pages would have created a list of redirects which would have needed to either be deleted, blanked or QVFD, all which would have created more clutter. But never the less, it was an honest mistake and didn't warrant that kind of response. ~ 21:21, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
If an edit summary is used, removing the redirect has no noise whatsoever. --CharitwoTalk 21:26, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Bottom line - in the future, if the guy isn't a vandal, play nice. Thanks. ~ 21:35, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
