edit Welcome!

Hello, Rpm, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there and there is a window over here if you don't fancy walking down the stairs. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

These are the links you're looking for...

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig) above the edit box.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but most people enjoy writing something while they are here and ever so occasionally we write something worth reading. Check out Pee Review if writing work seems a bit too much of an effort,

If you need help, ask one of us, or ask on my talk page. You can also look into the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program.

Just remember the rules, especially the first 3.

Again, Welcome!   ChiefjusticePS3 20:40, January 23, 2011 (UTC)

edit Hey there

Nice to see a new editor about... I'm the poor soul managing the PLS and I hope you do well, your article looks very promising. As a small request could you only enter your article in one of the categories rather than adding to both with the same article. Thanks and welcome to the site:-)--Sycamore (Talk) 11:33, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

Ha! I came here to tell him that. --Tophat headless 15:41, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
Yes yes sorry I misread. It's done. --Rpm 19:25, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

edit YO!

I'm impressed. Everywhere I look I see a new awesome user. You're very good too. I haven't check about the rest of your articles but the one in PLS is very good. So, get ready cause I'm going to nominate you there next month. Write more. You're awesome. 'Nuff said. --~ MimoMimomaxusMaxus 20:26, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

edit UnNews:Massive tentacled tumor extracted from man, escapes

Thanks for the UnNews, which wins the 1-Spot on today's Front Page because of the illustration. It had a few typoes, one in the dateline; please spell-check in the future (instructions in UnNews:Style). This is based on a niche story that provides most of the weirdness--you sort of have to read the Source to understand what you did--so its time in the top spot might be limited, if someone writes an UnNews on a topic that we have ever heard of. edit Reviews

Hey, mon... any reason you did a review on the talkpage of the article instead of the review page itself and then just blanked it? If you put it in the wrong spot, you can just copy it onto the review request proper, after all. If, on the other hand, you simply changed your mind about doing that review and hid it because of that, nevermind, although it wasn't actually that bad of a review. Could have been more in-depth, same with the Robot Ninja one, but you provide decent advice in both.

In the future, though, you may well want to say even more - with these, why was the one dull and how could that be improved, or should that section just be taken out? How could the fellow go about executing the 'instincts for humour'? That kind of thing. May help to see what other people do, too - check out reviews by the steel kidneys for examples, maybe; they tend to be good and some keep lists. Seeing what they say might give you some ideas what other articles might also need.

Anyhow, hope this helps. You've definitely got promise as a reviewer, mon. Keep it up. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 18:36, 11 February 2011

edit HowTo:Reenact History

Having only come across our article via the Noob of the Month Page, it looks ready to feature in my view. One thing I was going to say was it might need at least one more or perhaps two images to go with it. If you don't mind, I will have a look too and see if I find something suitable. Good stuff, historical re-enactment is big business. What would the History Channel do without the local historical societies coming out to bash the living daylights out of each other in the guise of Romans v barbarians, Roundheads v Cavaliers, Republicans v Democrats, Tom v Jerry...?--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 09:29, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

You're not even Noob of the Month and you already have a half-featured article. Good job, man. You make the whole NotM thing harder for me as I don't know who should I vote for. --~ MimoMimomaxusMaxus 09:32, February 19, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks so much, gents! Rpm 21:59, February 22, 2011 (UTC)

edit UnNews:Gadhafi vows to crush walnut

Your shoop is on display right now on the Uncyclopedia main page. Quibbles on the story itself: The first two paragraphs are background, and there is nothing about the walnut until the middle of the third paragraph! To make it look like "news," you gotta lead with the lead! which would also kill the second bird of getting to the joke faster. Otherwise, a fun read, as you take the concept in several different directions. Spıke ¬ 00:10 28-Feb-11

PS--Worked around this problem and put you in the 5-Spot on the Front Page. Spıke ¬ 00:50 28-Feb-11

PPS--Assuming that is you editing as Anon: In the original last paragraph, a picture (a second illustration) would be worth a thousand words. Show us the "new flag." Spıke ¬ 00:54 28-Feb-11

Yessir, that was me. I sometimes switch computers and plum forget to log in on the new one. Anyway, yes, thanks for your suggestions, I took the first batch to heart and put a new reference to the walnut earlier on so that it stands up to fake-journalism standards! As for the flag, yep, I'll work on that shortly, I have a design in mind. Rpm 00:57, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

edit Congratulations

On winning Noob of the Month. The Noob of the month club has dancing girls, unlimited pizza and fries, and contains so much more that can't be talked about publicly. It's like being tapped for Skulls & Bones, only without the skulls and somebutnotall of the bones. Aleister 1:13 1-3-'11

Woo! Yay! Rpm 03:16, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

edit HowTo:Reenact_History Part 2

I was hoping to get some feedback regards my adding of images and a few minor text changes. This is really a good article and a worthy feature in my view. I would like to nominate it for VFH but await your response first. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 09:52, April 5, 2011 (UTC)

Hi RPM. I waited for nearly a month for a response but it seems you're elsewhere. I hope you drop back over here soon. I have nominated this for a feature (see VFH page). So far, it's looking good regards the voting! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 09:47, May 5, 2011 (UTC)

You now have a front page feature! Congratulations!! You are always welcome to pop back here...--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:42, May 19, 2011 (UTC)

edit Welcome back!

Nice to see you plan on writing UnNews, I'm the UnNews editor and I put your Mitt Romney UnNews on the front page, but should you besmirch Ron Paul again, thou shall encounter my wrath! :D Just kidding, it was a good one, I liked it! Snowflake mini Mattsnow 00:57, January 5, 2012 (UTC)

I am also happy to see that you're back. Woo! Keep makin' dem quality articles like ya do. --Littleboyonly TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Oldmanonly 22:52, January 6, 2012 (UTC)

edit "Oh, yeah?, C'mon, more sanctions, bitch, what else you got?"

I loved your uNnEWS about Canada, so I was naturally distressed when I checked on it and realized that some humor-challenged IP had taken a political shit on it, and elided a couple of your best punchlines in the process. I reverted. And I guess the moment has passed, but I really should've put it up for VFH when I saw it. (Or has it passed? Should I put it on VFH?) I busted a gut, reading it. Keep up the good work, and thanks for coming back to the 'pedia.  ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usWed, Jan 18 '12 11:54 (UTC)
