edit Greggs

Your vote to keep this article makes it 3-1 Symbol keep vote Keep. I closed the vote and scrubbed up the article, softening the company motto from "Providing shit to scum" to "Scones for Scum" and taking it in a few new directions, such as a mention of the proposed "Greggs Moment" offshoot. Given the less awful motto, we (=you) could almost re-Shoop their logo. Wouldn't that attract some publicity? Spıke ¬ 14:27 15-Oct-14

PS--Never mind. Anton199 has now changed the supposed motto entirely, this one bearing some relation to their real-world one.

Can we get you back to UnNews after two weeks? The alternative is for me to write another pre-election anti-Ebola -Obama rant to do for the Republicans what they don't seem willing to do for themselves. Incidentally, I decided to take the piss out of my U.S. senator; would you please look in and see if it offers any amusement to people unfamiliar with the issues? Spıke ¬ 14:58 19-Oct-14

I was considering some new UnNews articles. I will try out some ideas tomorrow. Regards the Greggs logo, I would have kept the message 'Providing shit to scum'. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 20:37, October 19, 2014 (UTC)
I agree with Romartus. It works well with the British stereotype of Greggs. Pre-election? Are both our nations going to have big elections next year then? Sir ScottPat (converse) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 09:42, October 23, 2014 (UTC)
USA Presidential elections are in 2016. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 09:44, October 23, 2014 (UTC)
Ah right. Spike's obviously so desperate for change he's deluded himself into thinking they are just round the corner. Sir ScottPat (converse) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 09:50, October 23, 2014 (UTC)
President Hillary Clinton for 2016! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 10:31, October 23, 2014 (UTC)
Can't say I'd agree but she'd probably be better than anything the Republicans throw up. Sir ScottPat (converse) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 11:26, October 23, 2014 (UTC)
"Throw up"...uhmm...that's an unpleasant thought! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 11:52, October 23, 2014 (UTC)
I, on the contrary, entirely agree with what The Guardian said about the previous message: "Classist, crass and a far cry from the company’s actual slogan: “Always fresh. Always tasty.”" Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 17:10, October 23, 2014 (UTC)

For youse's information, the entire U.S. House of Representatives and one-third the U.S. Senate (including one of my two Senators) are to be voted on, Tuesday after next. Repeating, I'd appreciate any feedback on my new pages on northeaster Senators (three, now, mentioned at Template:Recent). I don't expect them to be maximally funny in your hemisphere, but at least you can tell me if they come off as humor rather than rant.

That the Guardian faults us for disparaging its cherished lower classes, we can do little about. That it was "a far cry from the company's actual slogan" was a problem: All our disparagement ought to have a hook to Real Life. Spıke ¬ 17:53 23-Oct-14

Well BBC Radio 4 has no problem with jokes about Greggs and their panel shows involve actual Communists as guests, I trust their judgement of humour more than the unhumorous Champagne Socialists write the Guardian.
