None..or Nun...--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 19:27, April 4, 2011 (UTC)

What about nuns? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 19:27, 4 April 2011
Or nones? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 19:28, 4 April 2011
And nouns; you're totally leaving out nouns. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 19:28, 4 April 2011
Although I suppose those were nouns anyhow... 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 19:28, 4 April 2011
Nuns as nouns. Mother Superior Jumped the Gun. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 19:29, April 4, 2011 (UTC)
I feel like you just made some grand joke and it went right over my head... what does it mean? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 19:31, 4 April 2011
If I was being really clever I would have said Mother Superior Jumped the Nun. The line comes from The Beatles song Happiness is a Warm Gun/Nun/Gun?..yes Gun. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 19:38, April 4, 2011 (UTC)
Ooo, culture? Why would a nun jump a nun? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 19:44, 4 April 2011
Hmmmm why not? Ever see the film The Devils? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 19:47, April 4, 2011 (UTC)

"I am open to adoption", Hah! Thanks verymucho for your Friday vote, partying! I moved the Russian link to the second mention of Russian. The first is meant to jump up and surprise people, which may be better done unhighlighted (the brain probably picks up the highlights a miniteensyminisecond before the eye reaches them, and thus changes the impact of surprise). When I logged on just now the site was in a weird skin, but seems to have corrected. Strange doin's here lately. Talking of strange, I'm going to have to read your ?pedia stuff, I haven't yet. Which are you notproudest of? Aleister 12:40 6-4-'11

Ok no probs regards the link. Funny how some people come here and then disappear without trace. I am have been leaving messages on RPM's page (Noob March 2011) to see if he (must be a he) if he wants his historical re-enactment article on VFH. No response yet.. Regards Illogicopedia, I come up with one article about Randumbo but the place now appears to be full of Gompy socks - so my interest has somewhat waned over there. I prefer this site, I am glad we can have writers with radically different approaches to articles contributing on Uncyclopedia. Not just by writing new stuff but repairing, fixing or deleting where necessary. If this site lasts another five years (and why not?), hope you're still around too. By then Soggy will have had 500 articles featured...--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:57, April 6, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, and I don't like it when people leave without notice, in the middle of doing something. Happytimes did that, I think Chedder the same, and MrN. Three mysteries, and you probably know of many more (maybe someone should make a list). I had one feature on ?opedia, and as long as Lyrtheriam, or however the name is spelled, is there the place can get back on track. And yes, if uncy is purged of all the random and bad pages, and the good pages continue to add up, within a year or two it should be most honored and adored by a fickle public. The benchmark, of course, will be in the Spring of 2014 or so when History of Great Britain is close to completion and can be featured. That will be the day that the site graduates into one of literi extrodianaire. Aleister 17:29 6-4-'11

Civil Conversation?

Hello, LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate), I was hoping that perhaps we could have a civil discussion about my articles here. I want advice and criticism, and though I know that might have been your goal I did not find any of your comments constructive to me. I do not want my pages to die, so I am open to any advice. Thank-you, and I am not sorry if I came across as rude and abrasive... --Purple&Pink 04:24, April 7, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for dropping by. I checked again your Jonah and The Romanovs articles: Sudan, unicorns, an imperial Russian dynasty, skinheads, Chinese junks..It still doesn't make sense to me and more importantly, hard to see how this adds up to being funny. Why unicorns for example? Why not two headed eagles or flying elephants?? If you can replace all your ideas with equally other random ones without affecting the story then in my view, it isn't working. It is really similar to writing something like: Barack Obama is a snake born in Kenya who rode to the USA on a unicorn and was elected US President. He killed George Dubya Bush and ate his brains because he was a zombie parrot. I personally don't find that approach funny but there are others who do. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 07:04, April 7, 2011 (UTC)
Thnks for the feedback...--Purple&Pink 01:31, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
Ok, haha, my articles were ICUed...would you look at Jonah when you can, i fixed it and sadly it is now truth...can one call myth truth? --Purple&Pink 02:35, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
Hey i also changed The Romanovs and it is also now truth. Please look over and critique...--Purple&Pink 05:48, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
There's the makings of a good article on The Romanovs. I editted a little just to tart it up a bit but don't want to tread on any toes. --Sog1970 11:12, April 9, 2011 (UTC)
Hey Soggy! As you can see from the talk page, this article by Whyamidointhis (Mr Pink) started this one off with Sudan and unicorns(!) which I thought was er..more like the Randomovs rather than the Romanovs. Now Kevillips is also onboard with this too so perhaps this unofficial collab make came up with an article between the four of us. So as far as I am concerned you're very welcome to pitch in too . Perhaps there is a bottle of Romanov vodka in this...--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 22:03, April 9, 2011 (UTC)

or how I spent my Sabbatical
I started writing Wikipedia articles more, my then job took more of my time, and my computer sucked, and this site was the fall out. I still got my watch page emails, the whole time, but had a pretty hands off approach. I attempted to come back a few years back, but was uninspired. Now just seemed to work for me. user:k3vin is my wikimedia handle, by the way. Also, my OCD kicked in, when I decided to save my Red States concept, which I never really fleshed out. The real comeback, if you're keeping score is with irc. I hadn't spent anytime on there to speak of since the late 90s. Such that I did not even have a chat client. -- --K evilLips MUN,CM,NS,3of7 09:25, April 10, 2011 (UTC)

You came back to save one of your 'children' from the fiery basement! Well glad you returned all the same. I have been a regular here since December 2008, belonging to the 'mature' end of the age range on this site. I usually prefer writing pseudo-historical stuff and UnNews articles, though Spike has got me writing about Neutrons and such which meant I needed a bit of a scientific refresher course. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 11:13, April 10, 2011 (UTC)
I formally abandoned two kids today, but may take up the mantle. but wanted to signal that people are free to re/write or whatever. I am more protective of my original concepts than my parodies of real things. Not sure at what age, maturity starts, but at 47, I hope to be mature someday ----K evilLips MUN,CM,NS,3of7 12:28, April 10, 2011 (UTC)

UnNews:BP's chief meerkat caught cheating

You have today's lead. I re-shooped your animal; illustrations too far from square make it hard to do a feature. By way of introducing Orlov, consider moving phrases between the first two paragraphs as I did in the graphic.

Thanks for the additional support on the Forum. Your threat that I might Pull a Zim could shut 'em up, but it is not really on the table. Despite the heckling from the UnNews backbenches, this is the best place there is to pursue excellence. Spıke Ѧ 18:12 14-Apr-11

I don't know if you have ever seen this character (I guess it must be on You Tube) but today I saw a Russian journalist on Sky News who sounded just like the Meerkat. I don't think my story has quite turned out how I wanted it and I am aware I am basically using the same structure for a lot of my news stories. Anyway, I will look at it again later on tonight. Regards the forum, I don't see any burning tyres on the street yet so I guess it will stay as it is until this version of Filial Piety comes round yet again...--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 19:04, April 14, 2011 (UTC)

People who walk around and then lay down next to someone, neither with any clothes on, for awhile

I saw you drifiting around the site, so wanted to drop in and say thanks for your vote on the above named article. Very appreciated. Glad that changes and additions could bring it up to your standards (which are one of the nicest things on the site, and has helped uncy EDproof-itself from bottom-half articles). Thanks, for the vote, and for said standards. Aleister 15:16 4-20

Hi Al. I thought I had voted in favour the last time when you came up with the new intro...but then wasn't sure. However, it's a good article. As you can see from the forums, I was looking at the ED business. It's curious. The new 'Ohinternet' site appear to be more like Uncyclopedia with adverts - and with offending material removed. It seems girlvinyl had done what Chronarion did to Uncyclopedia, set the site up and then flog it off to someone else. As we live in a capitalist world, perhaps Wikia will one day get bought by Amazon, Facebook or whoever and all our works we have put here will be monetarised for someone else's profit. It's a sobering thought..perhaps we're all mugs for spending so much time here and the only true winners are always the distributors and not the authors. Just as it was in the past...--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 15:23, April 20, 2011 (UTC)
I will get back to you on this last, but for now, alert alert, there has been a footnote recently added to The Epic. As you recall you promised there would be no more footnotes. I eternally watch. Thank you. Aleister 15:47 22-4-'11

And twanks for the tweets on Damaged Goods and for pointing out the loose language. I meant to limit it to unmarried women, and you showed me that maybe I was doing the opposite! Live and discern. Aleister 15:52 25-4-'11

No prob though I am puzzled that those who voted in favour of Damaged goods didn't seem to notice the errors. Now surely people here are reading an article before voting in favour or not? I wasn't so careful before until others pointed out my own misreadings...oh well...still, overall I haven't decided to abstain or vote against. The article's tone - slipping into abuse sometimes - doesn't work in my view.--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 19:20, April 25, 2011 (UTC)
Honestly, I don't think most people do. I don't even remember reading this one... then again, I don't remember voting, either. But it's so much easier to just look at who wrote it, and maybe skim a bit and look at the pictures... and even if one does read it, would they even be able to tell? I often can't, of late. Brain too dead. And plenty of folks write no better in general, so how would they notice when others phase things oddly? Face it. We're all doomed. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 21:08, 25 April 2011
I don't remember writing it, let alone reading it. I think I nommed it because of the first picture, that Natalie Wood look alike, or maybe the caption. But Romartus, you seem to have read it, and if you could tell me where it edges off into abuse I'd read that part, although I seem to remember thinking that the entire page is satire of old timey attitudes which still exist in some parts of the world, in individual psyches, and in every country today. So let me know, but do look at the first picture, and maybe the caption, and then you could vote for and not feel you've done anything odd. And do you really really think that anyone has read every word of The Epic (did you remove that extra footnote, I haven't looked, very important to me) or will read more than the lead when it gets 30 votes on VFH in a couple of years? Aleister 21:18 25-4-'11
Probably abuse was the wrong word but perhaps the article reads like a sermon from someone NOT connected to The_Threat_of_Festivus. It also drifts from being a general encyclopedic article to what appears to be about someone in particular. So perhaps as a sermon would work better, by a Holy Father mixing up a general point with someone he has particular in mind. Regards the Epic, if no one else reads it then that is possible - probable regards length. The real work on it will start when it is completed. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 18:05, April 26, 2011 (UTC)
I'll be serious for once in my time here. I've read more of History of Great Britain than I care to admit, and find it an extraordinary accomplishment on a wiki such as uncy. The ability to summarize a nation's deep and ongoing (see Friday, shotgun wedding, hmmmm, an UnNews there maybe, have Kate's Dad with his shotgun be the real reason for the wedding, Iz get right on it) history with humour, metaphor, and, as you say, open it up to others to work on in the same style while adding to its depth, is actually my main reason for having hope that uncy will attain a certain prominence within a couple of years. The Damaged goods piece, the sermon idea is interesting, and maybe triable. The encyclopedic tone is meant to be from the alternate-universe of an encyclopedia which reflects a world where such activity by women were looked down upon. I tweaked and added to it a little since your comment, and will go back to see if it does get too specific (I didn't realize that either, but the statement about "her" 32 year old aunt does seem to be about one person, although the line is fun enough that changing it may hurt the page more than helping it). Thanks. And I better get writing the third of the Fadda Murphy trilogy (in the third page he gives a talk to the U.N. after being elected Pope when Benidict dies, which could be any yesterday now). Aleister 11:19 27-4-'11
p.s. Twanks!! Check out the last section of Damaged goods, you inspiration and vision clears away the forest and lets me chop down the only remaining tree once again.
I am still scratching something regards this line a few towns over other women were being damaged by even more obscure cavemen. Still not sure what you are trying to say there. And the future of Uncyclopedia? Depends on us I guess and whether this remains an open community and also to look after the work of those who have left and will probably not return. If it lasts to a 10th birthday, then the site will be doing well..perhaps if Sannse goes and a harder nosed wiki rep arrives, curtains within hours..who knows? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 18:24, April 27, 2011 (UTC)
That line in Damaged goods has been taken out and the meaning is now clearer (wanted to say that Eve was just one of many cavewomen of her time). On the other, a long discussion could evolve. Sannse wrote that she envisions ads on the site (on her talk page, in a discussion I started when I was freaking out about ads). I've gotten mixed messages about our relationship with wikia, one admin says they are "hosting" uncy and don't own it, but it seems other information says they own it and can, as you said earlier, sell it to anyone they please (i.e. an oil company who dislikes an article can buy the site and huff it). I've also gotten mixed messages on how many people view the site, and it may not be many or it may be a lot. I know that when it gets the publicity it deserves (when History of Great Britain is featured, I was sure People Who Like to Fuck Naked would have put it over the top in popularity, but alas) for the quality of our uncy's writing it will just make it more ripe for ads. But again, mixed messages. I have no idea the exact agreements that have been signed by both parties, who actually owns uncy, but my overriding concern is ad placement. If Jimbo Wales has any say it what occurs with uncy, why would he even allow people to discuss ads? It this is a wikipedia spoof, ads are out of the question. But I've also been asked not to rock the boat, and I just hope we have some wise captains at the helm. Aleister 18:50 28-4-'11
We could all move to the Huffington Post but in a capitalist world, everything is up for sale. Now it happens an oil company has offered to transmit money to me as one of their executives is stuck in Nigeria..hang on...--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 18:57, April 28, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for all your votes, a garden of thorns turned into roses on top. I can hardly look at the Huffington Post because of all the ads, and I don't. Often I'll check out the Drudgereport for news links, just because he limits his ads to one huge one taking up the entire top of the page. Where's that new movie about the prevelance of ads playing, I need my rant fix. (This post brought to you by "Joe's Bones", when you're really hungary and just want to gnaw on something recently alive.) Aleister 11:45 1-5-'11
Drudge report? Well that makes Matt a happy ranter. BTW Hungry is a country in the cente of Europe next door to Anorexia and Bulimia. I don't no where Gnaw is but that sounds Polish. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 16:05, May 1, 2011 (UTC)

Point of clarity, extreme clarity, like a window with no window in it

I've checked with Zana about her listing Kitten Cookbook as one of her half-features, and she refuses out of something or other. I've noticed you don't list it as one of your half-features, but as an Aleister page. What the bloke? Do you accept said commission for the page or should I list it as a full feature in my sub-human list. You added lots of good material, and deserve the title of co-writer imnho, but you may be one of those strange users who has a line that they count as a collab feature and unless it is crossed they deny themselves the pleasure of the forest. From your list I can't tell how many features you have now, and most of your solid pages should be featured for the good of Uncy (uncy's almost 1,800 feat. pages are a collection to be proud of, fer sure). Now I will go put an ad on my page to beat the curve. (this post brought to you by Post cereals and Post-it Notes). Aleister 00:27 2-5-'11

You know Al, I can't quite remember what I did add to your article without scrolling back through the history. So really it's your story with additions by Zana and myself. In my own view a true collab is like 'the epic' with Zarbag where he has written large chunks of it and vice versa. Regards listing articles, in fact I had started this off the main user page as reminder of what I have written - and more importantly - trying not to reuse the same joke ideas but in different clothes. Also regards featuring anything I write, I am really not that bothered and perhaps deep down, I am never quite content with the finished product. But thanks for your interest Al, shows to me what an excellent egg you must be in RL and that you are not an internet schitzo who comes to a place like this to act like a spoilt, temper tantrum child. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 07:22, May 2, 2011 (UTC)
Took me awhile to get back to you, I've been busy lately what with the Pakistan mission and the debriefings and all. And the laundry. Beard hair, brains and blood all over my good shirt. Thanks for your kind words. I really want to throw temper tantrums here on uncy, but my shrink advises me not to lose touch with the imaginary people on the other side of the screen, so I try to behave except when Black Flamingo trips me in the hallways. And I really wish you would pick a few of your best pages and feature them, as the body of feature articles here would gain both in intelligence and historical value, and then wikia or Jimbo Wales can get more money for the ad placements (British Airways is counting the days until it can take over the entire right side of "History of Great Britain"). Thanks for the words on Kitten Cookbook, although it means "People Who Like to Fuck Naked" wasn't my 40th (Would now be "Tombstone", a fitting top to that particular mountain). I'd say more, but the Joint Chiefs want to know again why I fired for his head and not his groin, per orders. Details details. Aleister 18:43 3-5-'11

Romans and shit

So, the history section of Born again, I'm guessing from your dislike of it that it's historically inaccurate? Or perhpas it's offensive to Romans? Or something else? Would you mind expanding on your comment? I need your expertise here. --Black Flamingo 12:08, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Well...Constantine wasn't a born again Christian, he was a sun worshipper/pagan and only became baptised when he was about to croak it in 337. So he can't have been a 'born again Christian' as he was never one to start with, lapsed or otherwise. I said I was being a bit nerdish here but there is a difference between baptism and 'born againism' that I wasn't sure you were clear on that made me 'twitch' on that paragraph. Examples of 'born againism' I would suggest historically would come in the reformation and after. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 12:37, May 8, 2011 (UTC)
Ah I see. I actually didn't realise there was a difference, at least not much of one. I read that he became a Christian and that was enough for me. I might add some stuff about him initially being a pagan. I need to bone up on my Romans. Thank you, Romartus. --Black Flamingo 12:59, May 8, 2011 (UTC)
Not to throw in a random uneducated opinion, but getting baptized at any point in your later life should count as "born again," even though it didn't officially get that tag until much later (along the same lines as homosexuality not existing until the 1890's). First you were born, then you were "born again" as a Christian, so yeah Constantine should fit that criteria, especially since it seems like he more or less did it to redeem himself during his twilight years. --Littleboyonly TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Oldmanonly 15:55, May 8, 2011 (UTC)
The expression Born Again is really more associated with evangelical christianity. Unlike established churches where the path of salvation is accepting their various house rules (creeds if you like), 'born again' is more like a personal connection to god that doesn't necessarily require belonging to a church - though of course, quite a few do so. Baptism in 'established' church was accepting they owned their authority to apostolic succession. This is how Constantine would have viewed it. Otherwise it would be more akin to gnosticism. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 10:28, May 9, 2011 (UTC)
You're both wrong, being born again is literally undergoing a second birth. Didn't you read the article? --Black Flamingo 11:22, May 9, 2011 (UTC)
I doubt Constantine would have had such a structurally inhibitive view when changing his religion. After all, wasn't his spiritual flux revelatory? This puts him much more along the lines of a Christian evangelical than one who changes churches to appease their loved one and her relatives. --Littleboyonly TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Oldmanonly 11:33, May 9, 2011 (UTC)
All Constantine got in his supposed dream (as related by Christian historians) was that if his army painted crosses on their shields, he would win the battle against Maxentius. They did and were victorious but Constantine kept out of the Holy Bath water for the next 25 years. So he kept the 'born again' bit until he was about to curl up his purple slippers. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:00, May 9, 2011 (UTC)
You voted for! Thanks. It never feels like a victory on VFH unless Romartus votes for. --Black Flamingo 16:15, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

Hi Romartus

Hi bro, I am just a little noob here and I see that your name is all around the place, so I figured I'd come by while I am drunk and introduce myself. I'm a fucking old 29 year old who really like the site. Your article the story of England or something is just SICK!!! Can't wait to see the whole version (I read 5 KB of it, are U nuts?) Snowflake mini Mattsnow 00:29, May 16, 2011 (UTC)

Hi there Matt, glad you came across this website. I believe you're one of the Refugees from Another Site. The 'epic' started out as a re-rewrite for a pre-existing article (as is revealed in the log) with Zarbag. It's like homework, I know I need to go through it all again for grammar/spelling and to see if it is something anyone will be 'hooked' enough to read through. I have been around here since Dec 2008, preferring to write first but as is the nature of a collab website, got into passing views and opinions elsewhere. Hope you'll stick around and come up with more articles, you're not doing too bad at all for noob! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 06:02, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
Cool! Don't worry, I will stick around, it is a great place. I like the fact that people are nice and actually help you improve when you nom on VFH. My first article HowTo:Become an Assassin reeks of ED, but I shed this style thanks to Killerfroggy and ChiefJusticeDS. Quite frankly, I liked the absolute freedom of ED, ( I am at a dead-end on this one) but I didn't like the people there (ED) and the cyberbullying article, so I am happy here practicing my second language. Whenever I write an article that hit the wall, people are happy to proofread it in a hurry. That is great. I also like to help people with ideas on their articles. I have an article right now on VFH and I really like how people critisize and help if it is not high-standard. Plus the admins are great. I got banned on ED for a week for conflicting an admin. A week, and no resurrecting. It was a week before they pulled the rug under us. I hope Uncy lives long (well, they are doing good). My only fear is that the same shit that happened on ED could happen here. How is this site sustaining itself money-wise? I'll contribute a twenty soon. BTW, I have an aricle on VFH. I can't wait to read the history of UK when it is finished, I read some of it. It should be featured for a week in my opinion. Great work on this, my friend, it is epic. We'll cross paths again, I am sure. :) Snowflake mini Mattsnow 12:56, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
I could actually do my part for the spelling, not a great speller here but what I'll do is stuff you won't have to. Give me the link. Snowflake mini Mattsnow 13:30, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
From what I understand this site is under the protective wing of Wikia (hence the little adverts below) so they pay the bills for servers etc. Some have talked of going it alone but as ED showed, money to keep bandwidth and avoiding a site crash is not cheap. In the end all sites are owned by someone or a company - which is why the original ED got the shut down/transformed. As regards people here, on the Forum you will see some heated discussions between different users, usually about deleted articles, ban lengths and what's called 'dickery'. Considering how divergent many of the views here about what constitutes funny, Uncyclopedia appears to be a lot more even tempered than other sites. Read this, you're in it! --Purple mini lolly Lollipop Purple mini lolly - CONTRIBS - WRITINGS - SHOP - Now adopting! - 00:33, 16 May 2011

A musical? Shudder the thought! Is this a sequel to TYATU?, the long running story that saw Gouncy banned and made Meganew and Uncyclopedian cry into their glasses of root beer when the entire saga was binned after a vote?? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 06:08, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
Oh shit, this has been dne before? And this is what got Gouncy banned? I thought he got banned because he never signed his posts. --Purple mini lolly Lollipop Purple mini lolly - CONTRIBS - WRITINGS - SHOP - Now adopting! - 21:16, 16 May 2011
For reasons that escaped me, Gouncyclopedia tried to write his own version of the TYATU story before the others had finished the previous 'season'. All got out of hand and bizarre to boot. And yes, Gouncy didn't sign his posts, got banned and then would appear on a forum as an IP announcing 'I'm Gouncyclopedia, please unban me.' A bit like Sockhog but a lot funnier and without the abuse. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 21:30, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
Don't forget last week when Gouncy created a new account and created a forum called "Remember me?" There was a rumour going around that it was Mordillo pretending to be Gouncy, but it ended up being Gouncy. I talked to Skully about it, he's fine with it as long as it stays in userspace. --Purple mini lolly Lollipop Purple mini lolly - CONTRIBS - WRITINGS - SHOP - Now adopting! - 21:44, 16 May 2011

Go ahead and add the picks, I trust your judgment.

As for how the article was nominated, I showed it to a friend a work who really liked it and registered and nominated it (I've been showing him my articles for some time, but this was his favorite... honestly, if I were to push for one of my articles to be featured, I would probably have picked a different article). But hey, if it makes it, great.

OK thanks forgot to sign your message. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 16:43, May 18, 2011 (UTC)

Sincere thanks for supporting one or more of these articles on VFH:

Let's get drunk at sunrise and call it noon

Hi. I really would like to satisfy your concerns about Skunk, because I do feel it's a pretty good piece. I see it as a guy who loves a skunk trying to write an encylcopedic article, but his emotion gets the better of him and he must tell the world about his love. Then he tries to go back to the article, but ends when she comes in the room, sees him, and runs. Would it help if just before he starts to talk about his love that he hesitates a little in the encyclopdic language, pauses, then gets back into it, and then is finally unable to help himself and launches into his story? You hold our feet to the fire, so everytime I write a page I put on asbestos shoes before putting it on VFH (and then use whatever falls from the asbestos shoes as pie filling). Aleister 13:52 1-6-'11

I had another look Al. I can see what you are trying to do - breaking through the fourth wall to engage directly with a reader. The article is more of Skunk Lust sandwich - the bread of encyclopedic 'information' either side the raw meat of stripey black & white fluffy frolics. I would bridge the first gap with a mood change in a particular line rather than waiting for a paragraph. It's bit hoary (not Whorey!) but the old ....drat dammnit..I can't write anymore. It's love you see... and then breaks into the more personal bit before going back to the writer's presumed job of writing about skunks. Perhaps the object of love dies and you are forced to re-focus on the article again..perhaps with a coda like.....sniff...sneeze...I love her still.... Anyway...those are my suggestions. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 15:30, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
She dies? You cold hearted man. To think I came to ask you for advice, and what is it? To kill Koyla! Evil in latin garb, a demon from hell posing as a scholar amongst us, a historian of the ancient world who, if he had met Cleopatra in person, would have handed her the asp! What lurks in the minds of men, we shall surely never know. And yes, some pre-hint of the lover changing gears. He loves her so much he writes an encyclopedic article about her kind, he puts photo after photo of his beloved on the page, and what do you see at the end? A dead skunk. I will work on it later, am too upset now to go on (and I'm going to see "Hangover 2" shortly), yet I guess I must thank you for your denomic advice. After all, you know no better, so really can't be blamed. Aleister 16:45 1-6-'11
Don't worry..she was only drinking...--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 16:59, June 1, 2011 (UTC)

Hi. I've tinkered with the second paragraph in the "Skunk Stink" section, expanding and retracting, polishing and prodding, and hopefully the transistion has been made smoother and more lubricated. You do hold our feet to the fire, an honored role. But I still recall how you wanted me to kill off Kojol, and I shudder with horror and telltale revulsion at even writing on your talk page. But thanks nonetheless. Shuddering, Aleister 13:11 2-6-'11

I can see you made some changes Al and if I do change my vote, I will select neutral. However you have the votes, the acclaim and the key to The Apartment. Go ahead, consummate the occasion. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:42, June 2, 2011 (UTC)
A neutral from you is like a hand of God from Allah. Or a monkey's paw. Something like that. And is that a Jack Lemmon reference, or about the other guys who use his key? But again, your advice made the page better. And Koyla lives, which is important to the storyline, so she is happy. As you may have guessed, it is a true story, and I am writing from experience. My beloved awaits in her cage, and I must answer her desperate calls for affection. Aleister 2:44 3-6-'11

Jeez, that's one giant pic of a sandwich you just uploaded. Actual size. Maybe I'll nom it for sotm. Hmmmmmm. Sounds good. Aleister 21:05 5-6-'11

Thank you so much for your vote for May Writer of the Month, I really appreciate it! -- Sf13 Upsilonsigmasigmacrest0049 EST 6 June 2011

Thank you

Thanks for your vote and kind words about the Chicago Seven (if they were alive or capable of walking without a walker they'd march up to you and give you a hug). I've always had a soft spot for Abbie Hoffman and was/stillamIguess an acquaintance of his son Andrew. Those were the up-front people who stood in front of a war (hmmmm, maybe I'll find a place for the last six words of that snippet). As for your huge picture of the sandwich, I was going to nom it for Sandwich of the Month and instead found people hogging the room and discussing psy-ops or whatever it is we are going to be forced to vote on. And will you please get some of your historic pieces on pee review and in front of VFH. I nommed Queen Victoria but you have what, at least half a dozen more things which should really be in our feature collection. It's for the good of the community, man, and you are being as selfish as a sloth ("Move over, bud" "No, find your own branch") in not getting your things before the eyes of our literate (/laughs in despair at the irony) fanbase. One more thing, since I'm here in this fine geodome you've built. You did promise me that you'd keep the footnotes of History of GB down to four, and a fifth was added. It throws off the whole balance of the funny regarding that section. Promises are unicorns around here, if I may remind you of the rules. And thanks again for the hippies, they love you and shower you with hippie dust. Aleister 9:45 11-6-'11

I wasn't too aware of the details of the Chicago Seven though I remember seeing a film that re-enacted a lot of what happened in that city in 1968. The events there would lead to the even more notorious university campus killings at Kent University in 1970 which I do recall very clearly. It's interesting that you know or knew his son so this article does have a personal aspect to it too. I liked it too because your version seemed to plausible that if all the other stories relating to this event perished and yours survived then Al's version would now become the authorised text. I was pleased to see Dame PP's Queen Victoria was featured after I had given it some extra attention and work. Dame PP is quite the 'filthiest' writer, just check where she links off to on that and other articles. It's a shame she has retired and Zana Dark's recent mad run-in with the admins has deprived this site of another funny female contributor. Oh well. As regards the featuring my articles Al, I will point you in the direction of this composer. I make no claim whatsover to be any good as a musician or a writer but I won't go to this extreme. Check on Paul Dukas. And you are still bothered by the extra footnote on History of Great Britain? Well I haven't added anymore unless Zarbag does. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:08, June 12, 2011 (UTC)
Read much of Paul Dukas' page, and have tried to figure out your cryptic meaning. He thought he'd be identified with his music and not with himself. Is that it? Are you putting a lampshade over your work because you fear that it will overtake your persona? That's it, for sure. Thanks for compliments on the Chicago Seven page, I do like the era mucho. The page has stuff in it which actually does not exist anywhere else, historical facts. This is one of its few secrets. Naw, there was no connection between Kent State and Chicago, college students all over were probably "acting up and not minding their elders" after people found out Nixon had invaded Cambodia. See my only news item on my Illogicopedia account, it has a Kent State connection. Ah, Queen Victoria, I nommed it because it was good and also because I wanted you to have another half-feature, you worked on that page intensely enough for a half with Prettiest Pretty (kind of like the, ahem, ptk page which you should have...never mind). Pretty should get 1/2 for sure, and so should you. Why aren't you taking it in that case? Zarbag is the culprit, huh? I think he promised not to add any more footnotes either. Far too many footnotes on that page!! Al 17:15 13-6-'11

Thanks for the vote on VFH!

Thank you for voting on my article HowTo:Face your upcoming death! I heard people send out message to people who voted for them as a sign of thanks. I would try personalizing this message instead of copying and pasting it into everyone's talk page, but I'm lazy. Sweet tidings and I hope you don't get stabbed 23 times.--White Toaster Talk - Contributions 12:13, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

Hi CandidToaster. Sending out thank you notes is up to a writer. Some like a big stamp like Guildy or nothing at all like Soggy. The rest vary in between. I followed the Sog on that one though I don't mind writers dropping a personal message to say thank you (like Al) or ask me why I don't like something (Al again, usually). Just curious on the 'stabbed 23 times' line. Should I check with a soothsayer before I head off to the Uncyclopedia Senate to cast my next vote? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:20, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

Hi Black Flamingo. Checked the link...that's a lot better in my view. You want me to add some email headers and comments? No problem. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 07:36, June 15, 2011 (UTC)
OK I have added three email headers. Perhaps the article could do with some illustration, perhaps a washed out image as a background for the text? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 08:23, June 15, 2011 (UTC)
Nice additions. Not sure what you mean by a "washed out image", but agree illustrations would be a bonus. Will ponder upon't. --Black Flamingo 13:32, June 18, 2011 (UTC)
If possible, superimposing the text over the image of a typical office. It would like a computer screen display. Hmmm..perhaps Sonje could help? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:58, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

Suddenly, an idea appears...

Andrew Bonar Law doesn't have an article. I am convinced, dancing around the facts about the man a little, that there's an excellent (or at least half-decent) article to be written partially based on the polari meaning of "Bona". That or his name could be used as an erection joke. --Zarbag 14:11, June 15, 2011 (UTC)

In looks Bonar Law reminds me of Laurel and Hardy's foil James Finlayson. So we could have in the mix polari, viagra jokes, Canadians, Scots-Ulster, teetotalism, humour free personality. I recall reading that Bonar Law was a widow and that two of his sons were killed in World War One. Perhaps it's no wonder he didn't smile or make jokes. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:35, June 15, 2011 (UTC)
Canadians, yes! You could make fun about Lollipop, too! Maybe! OMG!!! It`s Cat the Colourful, Jesus Christ!!! 14:38 15 June 2011

Thank you for your contributions to the Game of Thrones article, I've kept most of them, but a few have been removed or reworded. Please don't come kill me with a knife or somesuch. --Holy Shit It's Neonazi powell 02:52, June 23, 2011 (UTC)

No problem. I don't treat my own articles like holy text and if I think a writer has added something I didn't think of, I view that as a compliment. Let me know if you think the article is ready for a run at VFH. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 05:54, June 23, 2011 (UTC)
Once an article's in mainspace it's fair game for anyone to do whatever they like with, but I reserve the right to be a complete tyrant for articles still on my userpage. The article is pretty near to being published now, and now that the series is finished I don't have to feel bad about all the spoilers in there. --Holy Shit It's Neonazi powell 12:21, June 23, 2011 (UTC)
Yes I agree with that regards user space. Since we had talked earlier and TKF had already added some extras I had thought you wouldn't mind if I also added some pix and text. I wanted to do that as the article looked near to done to me and would have been nominated before I had a chance to add anything. An article in mainspace is of course vulnerable to good edits (and bad ones) if they are not picked up first. I now check the history of all articles and if the contributor is still active, I leave a message on their page before making any changes. This is what I did to RPM's recent feature but he never came back. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 12:29, June 23, 2011 (UTC)
Oh I've no problem with anyone making edits, pretty much all of the additions you and TKF have made have been totally spot-on. As for VFH, can an article be nominated before it leaves userspace? --Holy Shit It's Neonazi powell 15:24, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
Yes the article can go into mainspace as there is no chance it will get nominated for VFD! Once you do that, you can ask TKF to delete the original user space version. I am sure he will also want to nom it too for VFH. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 15:44, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
It's all mainspaced up now. Thanks for the help, it's now everyone's to mutilate as they see fit. --Holy Shit It's Neonazi powell 11:46, June 25, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks Neopowell. I am going to read it carefully to see if there are any typos/spellings. One last idea did came to me as regards The Wall but I will add that as a note to avoid breaking the main text. Then I'll nominate it. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 12:08, June 25, 2011 (UTC)
Good stuff, and thanks for the nomination. Weird coincidence, I just found out my girlfriend is auditioning for Asha Greyjoy in season two...--Holy Shit It's Neonazi powell 10:20, June 26, 2011 (UTC)
Does she know that you are contributor here? Well let's hope she gets the role! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 10:51, June 26, 2011 (UTC)
No, she's not even read/seen the series, but she did make me tell her what happens to Sean Bean then hit me when I told her...I hope she gets the role as well, then I can legitimately walk into my local pub and shout "I boned Asha Greyjoy!" without getting kicked out (again)--Holy Shit It's Neonazi powell 14:35, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Edit conflict

I'd like to know if my contrib on the article you are salvaging from VFD created an edit conflict. I did it as fast as I can. Can one user edit while another is editing and kinda slip through the edit conflict or should I just refrain from editing when it's obvious somebody else is also on the article, however small my contrib is? Snowflake mini Mattsnow 13:21, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

When that happens, best to copy your text before clicking the save button. That happens all the time here. People only get up upset if you revert their edits. Chicken wars! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:29, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

I see this as a save. Don't see it as a VFH as I don't understand the underlying story to this. Was this some computer game? Perhaps someone else will pick up the chicken feed bowl and carry it on. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:55, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
Hahaha, that's a bit of an hint about your age. Cuccos were in Zelda, a Nintendo game, and chocobos were (still are) in Final Fantasy, a PlayStation game. That fusion thing was invented by the author. I'm 29, so you are either really young or older (more likely, because you write well :D), or you were living under a rock while everybody around you was playing video games! Snowflake mini Mattsnow 19:24, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
Indeed I am of a certain vintage. My first experience of computers was the tennis game (pong) in the 70s. Then came Space Invaders and I stopped after that when the aliens ran too fast for me to catch up. So this chicken game..nope, never heard of it. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 22:15, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
Pong wasn't a patch on this though, hey Romartus? --Black Flamingo 13:46, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

The Big Crunch

Hi Romy! Your advice on this Nom is appreciated. It opens with a long intro - then has detailed middle part - then has ending conclusion. 1-2-3 parts. It's a short article because I said it all. Also the earth crunch wouldn't be a good opening picture because that is so tiny compared to the Big Crunch which concerns the entire cosmos. But on Dead Dicks I got a Pee Review since your comment and much has been improved and streamlined - in case you care to reconsider - you have the power to make it a feature because it just needs one more FOR vote.. Please! Pretty please!! I hope you like it much better now. BTW: What have you been up to, bro?--Funnybony Icons-flag-th Agnideva-small.jpg AGT-logo-small.jpg 15:10, Jul 6

Hi FB. I will have another look but can't promise I will 'swing' in favour. I have been fixing up some poor articles in here, adding some extra lines to other articles that are in progress. Place does seem very quiet otherwise, what with Al lacking computers and others who have left or got banned. I guess all websites go through cycles like that. Anyway I have no intention of leaving, hope to encourage newcomers and offer advice if asked. That reminds me haven't read your book! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 16:01, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
Hey bro! You're welcome to please add whatever you like to zee crunch and turn it into a collab. Make it the way you would prefer. I'm wide open on it for you. UnNews:King Rupert orders the execution of Admiral Screws

Another allegory! Well done, though this time I had some trouble sticking with it all the way through. By the end I was having trouble seeing who was who and which events were what in the story. Still lands in the 5-Spot on the UnNews Front Page. ~ Humbuck Talk 23:55, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

One thing I didn't really explain was that News of the World had long been known as 'News of the Screws' or 'The Screws' for its coverage of sex stories rather real news. The story is playing very big here as Murdoch Junior decided to close a newspaper down that was highly profitable to save the rest of the group's 'reputation'. My other allusion was to the fate of Admiral Byng who was shot on his own ship in 1757 for supposed cowardice in a battle. This incident appears in Voltaire's Candide about someone being executed to encourage the others in their future endeavours. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 06:50, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

What is that? --ShabiDOO 17:39, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

Promotion of navel gazing i.e. in-jokes. The article is about an aspect of Uncyclopedia which is fine but I don't see it as a good idea to become a front page feature. It suggests to me that for any casual visitor, this site is more interested in talking to itself on the front page rather than encouraging newcomers to join and write articles. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 21:43, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

Your guns

Romy, I really do appreciate you sticking to your guns on voting. It makes your vote all the more valuable when it comes - which it is! Besides, I'm just as superstitious as you *grin*. What are you working on? Looks like Game Of Thrones is a done deal unless some Noob gets pissed off if you vote against their dog-shit article and seeks revenge. How many FAs do you have, anyway? How come your name is not in the HOS? Whattssap?--Funnybony Icons-flag-th Agnideva-small.jpg AGT-logo-small.jpg 19:45, Jul 11

Hi FB. Game of Thrones is an excellent article by Neopowell, I just added a few lines and some pictures and I know TKF and Socky also assisted. Features? Three I think, I have linked off a page with a list of what I have done more as reminder for me not to start repeating myself. I am still tinkering with 'the epic' and trying to improve or fix existing articles that have been long abandoned or drifted into 'rot' as Doctor Skullthumper so vividly described recently. I will also look at your current article The Big Crunch to see if I can make any additions . --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 21:53, July 12, 2011 (UTC)
Yo Romy! Okay, I followed your suggestions and I'm glad I did after seeing the result<---Is this what you had in mind? I also made a deletion, but it's wide open for your additions if you can make them. Whattya think? Dude, what are the three articles you had featured? Hope you're hanging cool. Cheers!--Funnybony Icons-flag-th Agnideva-small.jpg AGT-logo-small.jpg 17:02, Jul 14
I saw the change. I had another look FB, I still don't think it's quite there to be a VFH. Perhaps a more controversial approach? As it is on VFH a radical change may be considered too much. Let me ponder more...and did I read the earlier comment (see above) about your book being turned into a movie? Good luck with that! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 19:25, July 14, 2011 (UTC)

Hi Romartus

I was wondering if you would consider removing your 'against' vote for my Zach Braff article, as I've extended it considerably from the time you voted and I wouldn't say it's underwritten anymore. Shrooms Jello Shrooms 09:57, July 12, 2011 (UTC)

I will look at your article again but I suggest you ask people to 'reconsider' rather than 'remove' a vote (there is a difference) otherwise it may put someone's back up. I know this wasn't your intention here and I haven't taken offence. Others may be less tolerant. Just a word of friendly advice. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 10:40, July 12, 2011 (UTC)
Consider it considered! I'm just a bit annoyed because the article is much better now than when I 1st put it up and yet it's languishing at the bottom. Shrooms Jello Shrooms 13:53, July 12, 2011 (UTC) got it featured. Well the end I didn't jump up as a featured article but it's a great effort and you deserve the prize! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 19:26, July 14, 2011 (UTC)

...this is the greatest opportunity of your life. Summer extravaganza tournament. Teams of 2 or 3 users. Lasts month of August. Tournament wont be the same without you. Don't be an outcaste. CHECK IT OUT. --ShabiDOO 19:19, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
Shabby your spelling sometimes...outcaste...yes, they have those in India. Regards the tournament, I will opt out but will look out for them once they are underway. Got some other re-writing I want to do here without creating new articles (except UnNews). --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 19:28, July 14, 2011 (UTC)

I told Zombiebaron to give you user rights, and he did. Enjoy your new rollback. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) Icons-flag-au 10:48, July 15, 2011 (UTC)

Yes, I noticed I have been given a badge. Thanks. I will practise quietly with one of my own user space articles before heading out. I can see it is a useful weapon against vandals and idiots! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 11:00, July 15, 2011 (UTC)
Am I a vandal or an idiot? --ShabiDOO 11:12, July 15, 2011 (UTC)
Neither - unless you're Gomphog or Another Noob with a different handle...Shabby? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 11:17, July 15, 2011 (UTC)
Gomphog doesn't seem to like you. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) Icons-flag-au 11:18, July 15, 2011 (UTC)
I can live with that. He's happier over at illogicopedia. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 11:25, July 15, 2011 (UTC)
I am the sockpuppet of all the users who quit in the last few months but not with a different handle but a sex change operation. --ShabiDOO 12:02, July 15, 2011 (UTC)

UnNews:Alice breaks the debt ceiling

Really liked it. Like, main page liked it. Like, yeah. You really knocked the allegory out of the park this time. The only thing making me hesitate from templating it up is the ending. Is there a way to do away with the To be continued... and give it some closure? I know it's still an event in progress, but trailing it off and leaving the reader hanging is very not-newsy. Hell, I might just main page it anyway. Let me know what you think, though. ~ Humbuck Talk 20:26, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

Romartus darling, is that you?

Thank you for your kind welcome. I am full of admiration for some of the articles- Bouncy Castles was my entry point, and filled me with delight. But what a lot of howling disappointments there are- and frittered opportunities. So much "gorbachov can go blow me he up there with Chaman Mao an Castro muthufuckin SPace Turkeys YOWEEE YIPES!!!" nonsense. Thank you for not reverting my efforts to your articles, I don't know which they might have been, and my humble apologies in advance if I step on any toes. Whoever thought of launching Uncyclopedia deserves a big kiss and medals. Best wishes to all, Blind Pugh 08:24, July 19, 2011 (UTC)

Darling? An effusive Blind Pugh! Thanks for the message. Just a quick word. I may have to revert some of your adds to History of Great Britain or change them as I don't think they quite work in my view. Also, it is wise to check on an article's history and see if the original author is still around. If they are , I always now leave a message on their page to see if they welcome additions to an article or not. If the article has been abandoned or not worked on for some time, then your are 'adds' will be looked at by others to see if they think you're making it any better or worse in their opinion. Don't get offended if you see your edits reverted. It happened to me some time ago on Alexander the Great (you will see that in the history). Finally, be very careful with any article that has been featured (check left hand top to see the 'stamp'). Normally that means no new edits can be done UNLESS they are for glaring grammatical errors that were overlooked before. Thanks. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 10:00, July 20, 2011 (UTC)
Actually in the end I didn't revert your adds to History of Great Britain but restructured the first paragraph. Also redirected the red links as well. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 10:15, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

House Neopowell Salutes You

Game of motherfucking Thrones is being motherfucking featured. Cheers for the help and the motherfucking nomination. Holy Shit It's Neonazi powell 08:26, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

Great news. Congratulations. Hope it leads to more featurable articles and perhaps a follow up when Series 2 comes out next year. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 10:03, July 20, 2011 (UTC)
I intend to do series two as well. When it starts I'll give you a shout and we can throw some ideas around. Holy Shit It's Neonazi powell 08:58, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

The Quebec's people would like to thank you for all the great spellchecking you did on the article (and well, since the author is a Frenchie who tries hard to grammar good in English language in adding words dubious explantion why got here) errr.... Thanks. I can see why that was upsetting LOL. Snowflake mini Mattsnow 05:17, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

No problem. Visited Quebec (the city and Montreal) some years back so what to be supportive to help make this a feature.--LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 22:52, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

Romartus, I thought my recent edits to Barack Obama were not of bad use since it's one of the few well-written articles on Uncyclopedia (many others I've seen consist of Chuck Norris jokes, bad grammar, lolwut, and basic violations of the "Be funny, not stupid" rule), and I think it should be an FA; I just wanted to correct the few flaws it had and tidy it up to help bring it closer. Thanks, EpicWinner (talk) 21:28, July 25, 2011 (CET)

First of all you have come here with a polite enquiry rather than a rant which a good mark in your favour. As you can imagine articles on Barack Obama (as George W Bush before) quickly become abuse magnets for all sorts of anon editors or noobs (newcomers). I read the McCain joke and considered not really making much of a difference to it or not. The article itself is more of a space filler rather than a feature at the moment but if you want to work on it more, try it out. I was just advising that articles like this do get noticed quickly when things get changed so was advising you spend more time looking around and helping out with less contentious articles. You are right, there are plenty of crap articles on uncyclopedia which is why right now there is a purge of the really bad stuff going on now (see Village Dump). If you decide to stick around, create a user page (to get rid of the red link) and perhaps sort out a signature too. I can recommend Lollipop or Lyrithya. I got mine years ago and I haven't bothered to change it. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 21:26, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for being kind and concise. And as for purging crap articles, I think that the "Barack Osama" page should be deleted and the information merged with the "Baraq Hussien Obama" page, since both essentially cover the same idea and POV. Anyway, I think the Obama article is nicely-written, tidy, and does a great job at mixing reality with humor, unlike some other articles like the one for "George 'Butt-Hole' (UGH, this is garbage, not funny) Washington" (as the users once used as his name). Also, I like the use of footnotes, as it makes the article look more professional. Thanks, EpicWinner (talk) 9:38, July 26, 2011 (CET)
Ok but can you drop the Obama oral sex joke pic? Reminds me of Encyclopedia Dramatica. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 09:31, July 26, 2011 (UTC)
I didn't add it; it was there originally. Still, I can drop it, but let's hope it's not reverted. EpicWinner (talk) 11:37, July 26, 2011 (CET)
Sorry, thought you had added it. Well best is to find a different image and then remove this one. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 09:43, July 26, 2011 (UTC)

Yo Romy Yo!!!

Hey bro! Your vote is much appreciated, especially considering that a 'weak for' kicks arse on a 'strong against'. Jimbo Wales was in news yesterday saying that Wikipedia is losing contributers - so I just spoofed that news right HERE. That brings my contributions to 430 (that's gotta be a record in sheer numbers, I guess, not that it matters - but it's enough material to make into a large and funny book). Well, I'm not leaving Wikipedia (in spite of most of them be "ego busters from hell" and total Dicks), although I have gotten seriously side tracked into having fun. Hope you're doing good. Thanks again. Cheers!--Funnybony Icons-flag-th Agnideva-small.jpg AGT-logo-small.jpg 16:28, Aug 8

Without you UnNews would be stuck in June 2009....UnNews contributor of the year if there is such an award. Shame we have lost Spike and The Humbucker for pastures new. Ah stay good FB. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 17:56, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

The Big Crunch

Thank you very much for the vote. Because of Dark Matter you have nothing to fear. Cheers!
