Thank you for the changes you made. However I do not see why my ECSC joke had to be deleted as I thought that was quite funny/clever and so did Sir Reverend P. Have you seen this cartoon? It's so Joseph Campbell.

Also, I was looking at your user page, and was moved to see my name in your In Memoriam section. Not to tears, mind you, as when I think of my departed father, but moved nevertheless.

Thanks. A lot of articles are still left vandalised. Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 07:14, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

I think there are still more articles with vandalism on. I was thinking about how to deal with mega vandalism attacks like this and I was thinking we ought to have some kind of bot to sort them out so we don't have to waste our lives editing afterwards. However I know nothing about programming or making bots. Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 09:15, May 17, 2013 (UTC)
It's being worked on. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 09:34, May 17, 2013 (UTC)
A humble observation from me, is that I've recently seen many sites get ddos'd, vandalized, and etc. I'm not saying there is some super secret plot or anything, but, I would leave some of the more vandalised pages unlocked, as bait for the vandal. If it were lock'd, it can't be accessed (or edited, whichever one you like). But an unlocked article can be a prime hotspot for the vandal, so it could work as bait. You don't really have to listen, its just a suggestion I'm making... --146.129.242.84 20:30, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

Anon, you are always thinking of our best interests! And after we change the permissions to make vandalism easier and "lure" the vandal, what then? announce, "You're under arrest"? Spıke ¬ 20:46 17-May-13
This idea had actually occurred to me, to make a "bait page" in my userspace, and maybe have you set the abuse filter to automatically ban anyone editing that page. Unfortunately, this trap could also spring on an unaware newbie. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 02:06, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
To the point, banning doesn't work, as the current guy obtains new IPs with ease. All that has worked so far is to reduce the rate of his damage below the rate of our repair. At that point he ceases to be a newsmaker and the thrill is gone. Spıke ¬ 02:29 18-May-13

Umm...... what? I've been in Thaiwan the last monht and I come back and find the strange stuff on my talk page and now I'm confused about what's happening. Why is my talk page blocked??!! The Infinite Otaku Emperor Denza252 02:00, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

Denza, check out User:SPIKE/2013-RFC#Denza252 acts out. Someone claimed to be you, locked out of your account by a ruse on IRC, and created several sockpuppets, one of which I banned. Spıke ¬ 02:29 18-May-13
You begged me on IRC to unblock you, so I gave you 2 weeks countdown to unblocking, and now you come back and suggest that the sockpuppets were imposters? We need to know which account you really want to use, so that you can make up your mind and use that account and we can lock out the others. If your account has been hacked let us know so that you can create a new account and use the new unhacked account. Notably, you didn't use your IRC nick on the main #uncyclopedia channel, probably because it was blocked from that channel after IRC misbehavior. I wasn't there during the misbehavior to witness it, and I wasn't the one who blocked you from the IRC channel, so I can't fix that, but if your current account has been compromised, let us know, and let us know which account you plan to use in its stead. Also, your current signature STILL doesn't meet our signature standards. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 03:46, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
  • Someones clearly imposting me to slander my name. I don't know what's been going on while I was away but that wasn't me! This is obviously the account I'm using. Also I changed my signature to default for now so you don't have to worry about that now. Denza252 06:16, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
Wait a second, I only used to sign with that sign button, so the code didn't spill everywhere. Second, I haven't used that account, and the only reason I'm logging as an IP right now, is that my new account is still tempbanned. Of course, the reason why I'm not going into detail, is that I don't want to help the imposter. If anyone has half a brain, they would know that I would never go to Taiwan, and, since I use google chrome, it spellchecks me, so I wouldn't misspell that. And, I'm indian, hence, my first sig being the Indian Otaku. If you search logs, you'll find that as a IP, I used to sign as the Indian Otaku, or something. More details will be given after my new account is unblocked. And, I am MangaKaDenza, or TheFakeazneD525 , on IRC, and if you search logs, TheFakeazneD525, MangaKaDenza, and (while it was still my nick) Denza252, all shared the same IP. The IP that was mine. I only used either the freenode client, or more recently, kiwiirc client. If you really need more, then, PM me on there. Again, detail after I'm free to talk. --98.232.108.7 06:26, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

Ticklethekeys

Dear Sir... I recently did an UnNews on Lindsay Lohan and it is not there and has racist remarks... Please advise. x Ticklethekeys - forget how to sign it sorry.

The site got vandalized twice last week. Hundreds of articles were affected. We are working on it. We will get to yours. If you wanted us to fix yours first, too bad, because you also forgot to include a link to the specific UnNews: There are dozens of Lindsay Lohan UnNews stories. The last one you wrote, Romartus himself repaired four days ago. But you also forgot to timestamp your message, so there's no idea whether you've seen this change, nor whether you are talking about some racism apart from the big attack. By the way, this is a wiki, anyone can edit anything, this stuff happens, and you can edit your own UnNews, or especially use the History tag to revert it to any point in the past. Forgetting is natural: Imposing on Romartus rather than trying to relearn and do it yourself is spoiled. Spıke ¬ 12:13 20-May-13
I repaired the last Lohan story you wrote TickletheKeys. Is there another one? --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 22:23, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

Maistor310

This user, whom you dealt with about a year ago, is back on the site, and something new is emerging on his user page that looks as much like vanity as his past work. His contributions include a large number of photo uploads, telling his story in the archives of users' talk pages, and a small number of articles of no discernible humor or relevance to our readers. He asserts that his subject matter is a celebrity because he is on YouTube. Spıke ¬ 19:22 24-May-13

Seems to be a minor irritant, no more for now. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 09:54, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
Much more minor since I deleted his current project for non-notability yesterday, also a dozen of his uploads that were only used in articles that had previously been deleted. Spıke ¬ 11:25 26-May-13
Ok, noted. If he tries to re-create the article again, a ban will be justifiable. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 10:43, May 27, 2013 (UTC)

PLS Competition

Hi Romartus, thanks for taking interest. What role would you like to play in the competition: judge, participant...? No one else has offered to run it so far so I have attempted to set it up with some help from Shabidoo. If you think that it requires someone more experienced to run it please step in or point me in the direction of that person.

I have attempted to write up the competition rules and how it is going to be run on the PLS main page but I do not have permission to. Could you either grant me permission to edit that page or if you are going to run it write up how it is going to be run on that page please? We are hoping to run it in late June. Thanks. Anna Pavlova

Romartus, could you, please, review my work (it is currently in my user space: User:Anton199/Anna Pavlova)? What I mean by a review, is just a few comments on how the article can be improved.

Spike has already done this and I corrected what he had asked to correct. The article on Anna Pavlova already exists in main space and I have tried to re-write it. He also said that you know a lot about culture and history and I need my article to become a lot better than the main space one, so I will be able to replace the latter. Thank you! Cotswold Olimpick Games

ScottPat has noticed that Wikipedia's featured article today is pretty ridiculous on its own, and he is trying to do a spoof on it, whose principal benefit is if we could get it on the Main Page the same day or at least tomorrow. I put a garish template on it to guide the reader's interpretation--a technique I usually hate--as it has to be clear that the sole urgent purpose of this article is to be an instant tit-for-tat of Wikipedia. Would you please watch his progress and, if the article seems suitable, goose it onto the Main Page for a single day? Spıke ¬ 19:12 31-May-13

I have added a few more images. I will now look through the text. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 09:56, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
I have a feeling that the effect may be ruined now as the article parodies the featured article that was on wikipedia two days ago but if you still approve we could main page it for today for the parody reasons. I spent a lot of time quickly writing it to be finished for yesterday. Thanks. Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 10:01, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
I will put it through the nom process as with other articles. It could have gone page 1 as an UnNews article but I am not sure about 'fast featuring'. If the story is good, it should be featurable at any time. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 10:04, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
The only reason Spike and I wanted to "fast feature" it then was to parody wikipedia's main page feature article but since that was two days ago now when Spike and I requested you to "fast feature" featuring the article wouldn't really be purposeful anymore but thanks for nomming it. ok so

I decided to stay here. On both sites. And now, as I saw you online, I'm asking your help on a small thing. This Flyingbird made an entry to PLS which he already has wrote on the other site, here, altough he/she modifyed it a bit. I thought about just roughly removing it from the competition (but not deleting the article or anything) as it kinda breaks the rules. What do you think? What's your opinion on this one? I don't want to do anything stupid. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Sleeping Cat 09:30, 12 June, 2013 (UTC)

Hmm PLS rules...in that it has appeared on the Fork? I don't know but I can ask the Chief as he has returned this week. Thanks for the alert. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 10:46, June 12, 2013 (UTC)
PS--For a long time, Flyingbird was on this website twice weekly for the sole purpose of flipping his "banana" illustration between a human and a chimpanzee. Simsie gave him a token ban ("decide already") and nothing changed and I followed it with a permaban, countermanded by Mhaille. Flyingbird has not aimed to be a contributor to this website, but at most a thorn in our side. If this competition invites Forkers over for a one-night stand, what is the point? It seemed they had mostly forgotten us, and that was fine with me. Spıke ¬ 12:15 12-Jun-13
Oh yeah, I noticed that. But about the article; it's a bit breaking the rules of PLS as the idea is to write an article between the specified time. Flyingbird forked his own article from the other side which breaks the rules in a way. Well, let's see what Chief says, but in my opinion this shouldn't be allowed. But on the other hand, that is just my opinion. I'll let you guys decide. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Sleeping Cat 12:23, 12 June, 2013 (UTC)
On that I said nothing because I agree with you. If the competition is just between "an article," then I have dozens that no one has noticed. The competition is for "a new article"--that is, it is an excuse to prod writers to do new stuff that will make the site better. Spıke ¬ 12:37 12-Jun-13
From what you both say, then I will remove Flying Bird's article and first suggest he/she try writing a brand new story". --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 16:02, June 12, 2013 (UTC)
The PLS is for original work, not receiving accolades for submitting the same work twice or in order to get two bites at the apple. If a user wishes to write an article and submit it for consideration for a competition they should do it here or on the fork not both. I would relax this policy where VFH and is concerned as featuring quality regardless of which wiki the author edits, can only benefit the wiki. I'd suggest Flyingbird's article be removed if it has not been already. --ChiefjusticePS2 16:43, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks Romartus, no problem at all! I thought the article had to be new on this uncyclopedia! On the other uncyclopedia I have written various articles, SPIKE should understand it is confusing for contributers, should they enter the same article on both uncyclopedia's or will there be a periodic merge? I have never seen anything of a token ban btw, only a drastic ban. I expected the illustration to be write protected if it would really be a big deal. That makes more sense than banning a user without warning, IMHO. Flyingbird (talk) 18:02, June 12, 2013 (UTC)
Not just new to this Unc but to the entire world of Wikis, Cracked, The Onion...you name it. There is no restriction on authors regarding placing the same article on this Unc or the other Unc, just when it comes to competitions like PLS. Regards 'merging', it is up to a contributor if they want to put their articles on both sites but for the purpose of PLS, that should be done when the competition is closed. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 12:32, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Regarding the Awards Page

As I said on SPIKE's talk page, I think that someone should reset the awards pages that are out of date. I mean, there are some with unclosed nominations from 2012! So, maybe someone could do that... --The Shield of Azunai DSA510My Edits! 04:12, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

A lot of awards fell out of use earlier this year when the site split. While the awards like Writer of the Month and Uncyclopedian of the Month are still running, others like the Footlitzer Prize, Reviewer of the Month and Potatochopper of the Month are more dormant. This is simply because we do not have people voting/taking an interest in these pages, when they were in use they were gathering one or two votes per month, I see little point in restarting them until we have a more sizeable community who can vote on and receive them. If there are any awards you feel should be brought back to life then by all means let us know and we can consider them individually. If your concern simply regards the archiving of these old award pages then I can do that later today. Also, this isn't my talk page. --ChiefjusticePS2 05:48, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

Multiliteralist flogged his animus on my talk page. The underlying issue is his belief that the website is a diaper to hold each of his creative extrusions, while our (and notably my) belief is that the end product has to be attractive--that, as the writer is already here, what matters now is appealing to the reader--something that requires constraints which we have achieved through consensus. The difference of opinion is fair game; the tactic of bad-mouthing our site is not, nor using IFYMB! as a proxy--though, in not discouraging this behavior, the instigators of the Fork are using many others as proxies. Regarding PLS

Seeing as we have almost all the entries in one category, it seems a bit unfair to judge normally. Yes it would Romartus and this country never adopted that rule for those reasons, however a certain country over the Atlantic (clue: between Canada and Mexico) loves to go around boasting this statement/rule as it is their founding rule and why they split off from the British in the first place (the American colonists had no representation in British government but were still forced to pay tax). Despite the fact that ex-pats have to pay tax there still but are not allowed to vote as they are not US citizens (however the Republicans and GW were very desperate and did attempt to overide that rule illegally a few times). If Spike does not believe in one of his country's founding principles then it raises the question in my head as to why the flip they wanted to split off from us if both countries have ended up as liberal, educated, first-world countries (as opposed to Britain turning into a fundementalist, autocracy). Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 06:03, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
The UK only allows its citizens and those from the Irish Republic (from the time when Ireland was part of the UK) to vote in General Elections. EU citizens resident can vote locally and in EU elections but are not extended that right for British General Elections. So I see no fundamental difference. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 07:00, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
As an add, Commonwealth citizens can also vote if they are resident in the UK . --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 07:06, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
I am confused as to what you mean by difference. What are you specifically comparing? All I am saying is that if you are to uphold the general stance that you should not be able to influence the output of something if you put no input in then Spike should not dictate how you run PLS if he contributes nothing to it. (That is fine if he doesn't obviously although his reccomendations should not be taken seriously). Anyway it was a jokey comment from Spike and I have only helped it get out of hand as you obviously weren't going to listen to him. I am glad EU and Imperial citizens have the vote. I am proud to be part of a democratic country, in the US despite their rule being "No taxation without representation" ex-pats (foreigners living in US for work related reasons) must pay all forms of tax but have no political representation which means they do not hold to their founding principles and have a less democratic system than the country they broke away from despite the fact the break-away was to create a more democratic country focusing on those rules. (Or unofficially but with merit to true reason for the formation of America was that religious fundamentalists had been oppressed after there two failed attempts to secure power in England and turn the country into a religious fundamentalist paradise (gunpowder plot and civil war) and so finally resorted to making their own country as England was too liberal for them which goes against the whole idea of the US being founded on liberal principles). Both reasons show that there was a huge loss of life and money and effort were all for nothing considering we now end up with two democratic states instead of one[,] but with more life lost. However the American Revolution allowed the British to win the Napoleonic and Boar wars thanks to learning about how US guerillas defeated line infantry and by the use of light infantry taken from the French idea upgrading the British infantry (not army) into the most, trained, intelligent and disciplined force in Europe and winning battles with their tactics against superior French in battles such as Maida, Corona and Rolica. Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 19:15, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
Hey..where are the paragraphs? I think the USA and the UK were bound to split in the end. If it wasn't in 1776, it could have happened at the same time when the Spanish colonies broke away from Spain in the early 19th century. Britain didn't 'win' the Napoleonic wars, it was a victory of a coalition of other powers against France that did for Boney in the end. Wellington's army at Waterloo was Anglo-Dutch-Belgian-German and of those who were 'British', a lot were actually Irish. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 21:54, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
Perhaps I should have been more clear. The reason why Britain was able to win her battles after the reforms of the army by Sir John Moore (after 1805. First test of new tactics was Battle of Maida, in the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies) was due to learning from mistakes made in dealing with both French and American forces in the US Revolutionary War.
33% of Wellington's force were British, which was a higher proportion than in Marlborough's army. Overall command was British and Britain until WW1 had always fought with primarily mercenary (or allied troop donations) in their armies on European campaigns (even Peninsula war a lot of the army was KGL (Hannoverian) and Portugeuse). Therefore I would count this as a British victory as British victories had always been with mainly mercenaries and allied troops in their army. Wellington didn't trust the Dutch troops especially to a certain extent so although 33% of his force was British, many of the Dutch troops did not take part in the battle as they either protected supply line, formed a Dutch reserve division or were kept behind the hill as "re-enforcments." That's not to say Dutch troops did not fight, as they did and the Dutch 6th Infantry Division held off the Middle Guard (part of Napoleon's famous Imperial Guard) while a British infantry regiment broke and almost fled beside the Dutch troops.
As Ireland was part of Britain then they would be regarded as British but of course it is well known that many Irish men fought on Boney's side as mercenaries and were defeated in a British raid on the Dutch coast. Most infantrymen in those days were prisoners as everyone else was employed in necesity agriculture and so needed to work the farm and not fight.
USA and UK were bound to split once the religious fundamentalists realised their dream of running a country where state could not influence religion in the USA. Of course one Henry VIII's finest achievements was to overcome that age old problem that state had to bow down to religion by finally get the state to dominate over religion. "A forum to invite in spammers"

When was this created, and what was it called? SPIKE called out IFYMB for trolling awhile back, for IFYMB's proposal that we "instantly" feature all of the last 40 features on the fork; but spammers blanked then took over the forum (the one called "a new idea"). So I hope you aren't banning IFYMB for a misunderstanding. I couldn't find any record of a forum created that encourages spamming of our site. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 01:30, July 9, 2013 (UTC)

I deleted Forum:New idea not because of what IFYMB! proposed but because of his overtly adversarial we-versus-you language, with IFYMB! speaking as "we," meaning the Fork. His goal seemed to be to posture as a spokesman for the Fork and cajole us into taking action that serves the Fork's interest and does not serve ours. If this impression is false, then anyone who either reacted to or copied his we-versus-you overture would have quickly turned the Forum into trolling and taunting--as IFYMB! does above regarding our countermeasures to Brit-Slayer, and as he did on my talk page. In my opinion, since you gave him absolution from his ban, he has done nothing but troll. However, I did not view the re-creations of this Forum by spammers as having anything to do with the Fork or the original contents (especially given its generic page title) but the typical work of our spambots that re-create any recently deleted Forum, presumably on the assumption that a lot of people might look at it. Spıke ¬ 04:03 9-Jul-13
I have lifted the ban on IFYMB! Probation remains until the date on UN:OFFICE. So matter closed for now. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 07:17, July 9, 2013 (UTC)
I have another question. I know that inviting users to the fork can be legitimately considered spam. But the fact is that many people here tell bad things about the fork and its articles and when users from that site try to defend it, this is considered spamming. So is it forbidden to talk about the fork in a good way? On the contrary, even though there many people have problems with wikia, if you say something good about this site there, you may get some bad reaction from several users, but nobody is going to ban you. Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 12:22, July 9, 2013 (UTC)
Everyone can have an opinion about what exists by way of articles on either site. A user here can put links on their user pages to direct people away from this site to their other work elsewhere. As long as those links don't take people to porn palaces, violent image websites or straightforward commercial links then you can do that. For example, Frosty's page has a direct link to the Fork from there which is fine. Dropping the link to another site should only be relevant if it connects to what is going here. Since the two Uncyclopedias overlap still 90% as content and user base, the relations between the two are a lot closer than other websites which has made this issue tricky to police. No one will get banned from talking about the Fork, though on a recent forum it was heading towards 'my wiki is better than yours' type argument which gets everyone nowhere. Over time I expect there will be a great divergence. Talking about other websites is fine - if only to point to what your own site is doing right - or wrong - but when it becomes the only topic on forums then I think it distracts people away from that site. I call it 'Navelism' and can quickly put off new users. This applies to both websites and it something all users should be aware of. Otherwise the sites will die. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 12:48, July 9, 2013 (UTC)
I fully agree with you here. But IFYMB does not want to spread any spam. On Spike's talk page he gave a link to the fork, as Spike said that they had only bad articles, and IFYMB just gave an example of a good one. Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 13:38, July 9, 2013 (UTC)
I did not say that they have "only" bad articles. Cat the Colourful used my talk page to advertise the benefits of a competing website compared to this one. That is a Terms-of-Use violation, and he was not even banned for that. I do believe that the Fork is famously disinterested in the experience from the standpoint of a new reader, as opposed to an insider in his playground who wishes to write about his bowel movements. Banning is only an issue as (1) some of the young Forkers seem to have allured you with the line that Scary Ol' Spike bans everyone here; and as (2) trolls from the Fork begin a provocation with, "I'm sure you'll ban me for this, but..." It is manipulation, and I am surprised to see you under its sway, Anton, although you'll say you are touting not the Fork but merely "unification." Spıke ¬ 14:40 9-Jul-13
When the forkers say something about Spike banning everyone, I always disagree. I just thought that we were too harsh with the site saying that there was only toilet humor. Yes, there is some and there are people who actually admitted that they do not care about any new readers. But there are some who do care and I think we do not allow them to defend their site. For example, if someone says that they have only poor written articles (just an example), they cannot defend themselves unless they provide a link to something good on their site.

The Fork problem

Concerning the fact that the writers do not write anything except for their own amusement, as I have already said there are some people like that. And I have my own theory explaining why there aremore of them there than here. I think that when some people here rebelled against Wikia, the majority of writers who did not want to write something of good quality thought of this as an opportunity to do whatever they want, as the Fork is more liberal in the aspect of allowing stuff (which I do not say is good). Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 17:01, July 9, 2013 (UTC)
I suppose then, that, if users stopped criticizing/trashing/bad-talking/theorising the fork...then most of the posturing, hurt feelings and defensive responses and acompanying trolling wouldn't happen. Just as the folks on the fork should stop their vicious attacks on certain admins here and new users...so should unsolicited, unnecesary and unconstructive smearing/obsessive-put-downs of the fork here stop. It is painful to read users trashing old users and their work and their character. It's beyond unpleasant. Please stop. Pretty pretty pretty please. --ShabiDOO 04:15, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
Shabidoo. I don't think anyone here is obsessed with the Fork. The issue only comes up some users come back and bring the subject up, create forums or drop by user pages to advertise their site unsolicited. I haven't done the reverse on the Fork - not so much as leaving a link there to come here. Spike has never gone there or activated his account, so this is a bit of a one sided complaint. In my view, it is a distraction. I welcome users who are on both sites like Aleister, Funnybony, Leverage, Modusoperandi and others who drop by to talk or contribute. I can put up with a reasonable level of 'you must come and visit us' type messages but when some users make that their only active contribution here, then it becomes tiresome. I am aware - and it was made clear to those who remained - that the Fork wants to be the only Uncyclopedia and perhaps in the future that may come to pass. Well that is fine and over there you can create as many forums as you like celebrating that ambition. Just don't do it here, in the same way I wouldn't want someone from Encyclopedia Dramatica keep on about the wonders of their website. Since both Uncyclopedias share more DNA than humans and chimpanzees (and Poop Throwing Monkeys), then all Uncyclopedians are given a lot more leeway about 'home spamming' than others from outside have received.
I wish everyone on the Fork can make it a success with fantastic writing, ideas and well - who knows. I read MadMax's wish list about where he wants to take your site and that would be a far more positive agenda to pursue. He was always one of the best admins on the pre-split Uncyclopedia can have and the Fork is very fortunate to have his unstinting work there. Build on that. Meanwhile, all I ask as an admin on this site is that we are able to maintain and develop this place for the user base that remains or will join in future. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 07:15, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
Don't forget me, the (semi) legendary Go-between for the sites... Anyhow a message to SPIKE... please stop calling it "Yuky Doody Pedia" They have a tight-knit community. They like poking fun at themselves by means of jokenoms. Said jokenomming of low quality "toilet humor" articles, was like a phase for the site. The joke got stale... a bit. I'm going to be frank here. One reason good forkers stay off, is not because of the advertising, or the censorship of images, but rather, you. You are far too harsh with some users. You are a good writer, but not a very nurturing mentor. I agree that some of the articles are far too injokey here... but that's also a good thing. One of the reasons I joined, was to learn more about the injokes and people here. But yes, some maintenance is needed, so we don't turn into Encyclopedia Dramatica (interesting sidenote (forgive the diversion) is that in #wrongplanet , someone thinks that ED is superior to Uncyc, and that we don't have any quality control, lol). But if we remove all the cheap humor, and all of the injokes, and use only half-truths as humor, we might as well be "Half-Wikipedia, a half actual content encyclopedia". On the note of "darthopedia"... first off... EVERYONE thought it was hilarious how you missed the speelung. (It's Darthipedia) Secondly, it has (to my knowledge) never been used to plot vandalism. Not even the channel. Though I will admit that we in #darthipedia like to poke fun at you... sorry... but... I'm not the best person at "Refrain from insulting others" and... from all the times you've insulted the fork, you aren't either. I heard from one of my friends once... "You punch someone... you'll get punched back 3 times as hard." We need the workforce of the fork, even if just for cameo edits. If you see the fork's recent VFD, many of the same articles/stuff were nominated and huffed that we here did. So saying that quality control is nonexistant there, is very wrong. The recent edits are flooded with MadMax fixing up articles, which is another denial of "nonexistant quality." A message to everyone; In the capitalist system, and buisness, conglomerates are split up to create companies working in the same field to create healthy competiton. I mean, we have been stagnating. The fork presents oppertunities for good, healthy competition, that would increase both sites quality greatly. Instead, we are locked in metaphorical, and idiotic battle with the fork. Not only does this make everyone fighting look like children with petty grudges, it takes time away from... you know... WRITING AMAZINGLY HILARIOUS ARTICLES In fact, an interwiki writing competition would surely be appreciated, and would be good healthy competition. So lets all just calm the fuck down, and obey the third core rule of Uncyclopedia... and DANCE YOU FOOLS! --The Shield of Azunai DSA510My Edits! 10:17, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
Dungeon, concerning what you said about Spike, I know he can protect himself, but I just wanted to say that it became a trite for someone participating in the fork to say bad things about him. It is true that some forkers left because of him, but this happened because he was harsh with those who do not want to write comedy for everyone but only for themselves. And some people say that it is like that and that they should also have fun. The problem is that is is not the type of the site where you can do that. There are many other web pages where the users amuse themselves and they are neither famous, nor prosperous. The only way Uncyclopedia can survive is if it has very good funny articles that a lot of people can enjoy,
What really makes me angry at the fork is that there are people who want their site to be the only (as you all said before). They may have problems with the wiki or with any admin and that's fine but they completely forget about users who are here and who enjoy being here. I would not want the fork to be the only uncyc, as this one is unique in a way and we should not lose what we have here. Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 10:35, July 10, 2013 (UTC)

A relevant question to Romartus

I have only been active on this site however my reasons are that I prefer this site and can't be bothered to contribute to both and so would rather contribute to one. Is that fine? Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 11:18, July 10, 2013 (UTC)

Uh... to be honest... that question you should answer. Is anybody making you stay or go? Or restricting you from either site? It's your descision man. --The Shield of Azunai DSA510My Edits! 11:40, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
You can register on either site -as Anton199 has done. It is up to a user whether they want to contribute to both sites. Some writers do that but others haven't and that is their choice. I haven't posted anything on the Fork, the only article I was going to port over there was the one on Claudius II but that is essentially Zarbag's and I won't do that without his permission. I was trying to keep all my work synchronous on both sites as regards editing as such but I have dropped that for now as I don't have time. Also...I apologise for the late running PLS train! The delay is at my end!! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 11:45, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
Yes can stick to one Uncyclopedia. The archive here represents everyone who has contributed since 2005. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 11:47, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
OK it just seemed like you said that people who only contribute to one were bad people but I must have misunderstood. Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 11:52, July 10, 2013 (UTC)

Well thanks for clearing that up but since we are short on decent cricket articles here, how about one on the Indian cricket team or Tendulkar? I can restore your article as a sub page but I don't see it as belonging to the mainspace. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 07:17, July 10, 2013 (UTC)

UnNews:Russian Presidential Elections Will Be Held Again

Romartus, as you seem to need more UnNews entries, I have written one today and could you, please, look at it? Maybe it can even be put on the front page. Otherwise, I can work more. Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 17:18, July 11, 2013 (UTC)

PLS

Im sure you must be very busy. Can you please give the judges the go-ahead to paste the results as we usually do with PLS. It would be nice to see even just one of the judges scores. Please. --ShabiDOO 05:10, July 12, 2013 (UTC)

You can mainspace it. I will unlock the others now. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 23:53, July 12, 2013 (UTC)

PLS in UnSignpost

Firstly I must thank you deeply for your wonderful judging of the competition. So thank you.

Secondly I wondered whether you wanted to write a short paragraph or two with some of your comments on the competition so that I could add it to an UnSignpost article. I also noticed that when you published the results there were no specific comments next to each article. It might help each users benefit if there was some comments on good points and improvements. If you wish you could just include these comments in the UnSignpost article. Thanks. Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 07:14, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

Are there any comments to go with each article in PLS? Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 16:10, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

I will be collating those and publishing them very soon. Sorry, I was pushed for time and wanted to get them out there first. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 16:19, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

People shouldn't write so goodly - it makes it harder for us judges to judge them. Any delays in completing judgmentalisation are the fault of all entrants. And Modus is a smelly poo poo head. Feel free to use this as you see fit.                               Puppy's talk page05:41 14 Jul 2013

Signature Parodies

You maybe noticed that I made a parody of your signature and used it once while talking to you. It was not that good, as I parodied your first signature, and in addition to that did not respect the formatting it had. What do you think about this one?

I like Guinness but that is about the sum of my Irish connections. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 11:25, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

This is a way simpler than you think. He has ITRA part in his signature and the Irish Tag rugby association is the first interent result for it. And also the funniest one. Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 12:34, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

Also, sorry for bothering you but could you just explain what the final scores mean and how you got them? It is not that I don't find them good, that's just because I was curious about how they were worked out. Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 15:26, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

See above with my answer to ScottPat. I was trying to give all submitted articles a paragraph or more. This was incomplete on Friday, so since I had the results, I wanted to put those up first. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 16:21, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

Another UnNews about Putin

Sorry for bothering you again but I could you, please, insert UnNews:Russian Presidential Elections Held Again (don't confuse it with my first one UnNews:Russian Presidential Elections Will Be Held Again) somewhere after Snowden's trip to Cuba.
