From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia
Hi there, Mintyfresh312. Thanks for trying out the "Edit this page" feature that makes this site run. Your test has been, or at least will be, removed. I am providing a few links that will help you improve your edits.
- Help:Contents has a few good links
- How To Be Funny And Not Just Stupid—Very important
- Practice your editing skills in the Sandbox.
- Create your own sandbox by making a user subpage. Of course, you can name it anything you want.
If you have any questions or comments, leave a message on my talk page, or at the Village Dump. Thanks in advance for reading this, and I really hope you can contribute much more to Uncyclopedia.

edit Uncyclopedia is open but controlled
You should look into adoption. A good adopter can help you learn to get into the culture here.
One thing you'll learn is, it is not cool to continually put back your reverted changes to a well-established writer's article. Your changes to Rock and roll were reverted because they did not fit with the tone of the article (at best), and when you attempted to change the tone it was weak and lacked a satirical edge, something we strive for here. Please do not make any more changes to the article until you have appealed your stance on it to an admin.
It is also absolutely faux-pas to take your grievance to the article itself. If you have a problem, at the very least take it to the talk page, or better yet whine at an admin. Despite what it seems from much of the material here, we do strive for quality and consistency. If you don't think my article is funny, then that's a matter of taste. It does appear that you don't get it - the satire is at the expense of the pretentious author (called an "unreliable narrator" - meaning that the "author" is a bogus character whom I am satirizing in the article, not the actual writer, me), but be that as it may, I have had the article reviewed by a reliable writer who gave me great advice on how to improve it. I just haven't had time to get back to it. In the mean time, please leave it alone.
Thank you. -- GlobalTourniquet: 01:08, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
