edit References

On your play in the Sandbox: The <ref> tags bracket footnotes and remove them from the flow of text. But later in the document, you need to mark the spot where you want all the saved footnotes to appear, by using {{Reflist}} or <references />. I don't know what's good and bad about each alternative. Either can be at the end of the section (which keeps the joke closer to its context) or at the end of the article (which looks more like Wikipedia). Spıke ¬ 23:30 9-May-13

Hello, and thank you for telling me how to use references properly. I figured it out by looking at a few other articles, but I appreciate the kindness. One thing; I just wanted to make sure it was okay to make my own personal sandbox (I created one here: User:Mindnight64/Sandbox) instead of using the public one.

Yes, the public Sandbox is subject to being edited and reset by other users. You are free to create and leave anything in your personal userspace that serves, or might eventually serve, the comedy purposes of this website, and we try to protect those pages against modification by other users. (We have acted against pages that document televised competitions, say mean things about classmates, and advertise private businesses.) Happy editing! Spıke ¬ 09:46 10-May-13
