Help! My article isn't showing up under search

It's been some hours since I submitted my article. Before I started, I searched for "Camping," and "Camper," but they were both taken up and what I wanted to say was VERY different. So I created an article called "Campers" and the article does exist, but you have to type it in as "Campers" exactly when you press "Go" in search, or press "Go to this article" when you search. I also do not know how to "move" articles, since every time I do, it tells me to log in even though I already am. I log in again, still won't let me at all. I would appreciate your help in telling me how I can get my article to show up on the search page, and how to move articles and what's causing the problem.

Also, this is the article I wrote: http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Campers

Thanks! Dogbert99 05:05, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I just checked the search function again, and it looks life after several hours, it's finally gone through. So I guess you can ignore most of this, except I still can't move articles... sorry for wasting some of your time reading most of this stuff. :( Dogbert99 05:43, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

So...

I think I have the stupid question of the day. I'm paranoid about copyright images, and after checking FAQ's I still don't know what I can or can't do. For example, I was considering putting a picture of Leonard Nimoy (claiming him to be Simon Bolivar) on my page and just pulling the image off of Google Images. Is that a no-no or what? And how do I "spork" it?

Hey...

Just so you know, I used to be Sponty...but we never really met even then so it doesn't really matter.

Good morning kind Sirrah

stoopid Noob question for you, perhaps you can help. how do I stop my work in progress page from appearing on the recent changes special page? I would like it to spring fully florished into existance without everyone watching is growing pains. is this possible?--Usewho'sname? 12:16, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Good moro, it is indeed possible, but not within the confines of a wiki. What I have done with Biggles, Holocaust Tycoon and a few others, is to start them in MS Word on my own PC, whilst actually adding the wikicoding to the text. When you have enough to launch with you can copy and paste directly, and do any last minute "tidying". Hope that helps... :) -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb (talk to me)

VFP

Thank you for your support of my megre photoshopping abilities. It is my fondest wish that someday I will create a completely original image, and will not have to try to re-do images done by other people that are funnier than I am.  :) ~ Tompkinssig Smallturtle t o d d k i n s  blah. ﻙﻭﻥ וףה ՃՄ ண்ஸ ފއހ Build Tompkins' Userpage 12:42, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

VFH weirdness

Based on this edit it looks like that stray vote belonged to Hobelhouse. I've alerted him about it, and fixed the edit.

Speaking of which.... far be it from me to troll for votes, but have I written anything good lately? Just asking. :) ~ T. (talk) 17:32, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Actually I have meant to vote for Oscar Mayer following my own chipolata-sized contribution to the article. With regards to the VFH thang, it looked like the edit was by Tripod in the history but then there was the stray sig from Hobelhouse. I'm sure one of them will open up and admit to voting for Goa Tse. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb (talk to me)

Ecky-Thump

Ever been a Goodies fan? I'm trying to flesh out pseudo-historical account of the evolution and practice of Ecky-Thump but need more meat. Any ideas? I haven't actually seen this episode in 25 years. ~ T. (talk) 17:20, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Eee lad, tha dosna naw owt? I like in the heart of Ecky Thump country..... :) Goodies are class too....so glad to see Canadians have had a proper education... :) -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb (talk to me)
We like to bitch about the CBC, but it really gave us a great mix of Canadian and British programming. It made me the writer I am today, if that's a good thing. :) ~ T. (talk) 17:30, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

plagerism

would this silly joke actually work better as a redirect to the featured article? and if so how the hell would i do it?--Usewho'sname? 22:24, 11 May 2006 (UTC)--Usewho'sname? 22:24, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Hmmmmmmm......I have no idea if thats possible to work out. Will ask around..... -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb (talk to me)
Sir Famine took some valuable time away from slaying dragons and rescuing virgins(or is that the other way around?) to much improve my babylike cut'n'paste, but still think my original idea of having it copy the main page featured article would be the bestest ever option...--Usewho'sname? 08:47, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
See Talk:Plagerism. --Splaka 08:49, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
Also.....shouldn't it be Plagiarism? -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb (talk to me)
Heh, and there is already a funny article there, and another here. Oh well. --Splaka 09:10, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
Yeah Plagerism should just rip that off.....though badly.... :) -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb (talk to me)

oh bugger! I really must learn to spell..back to the drawing board for that illusive article that is actually funny--Usewho'sname? 09:16, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Question

I made a few small edits prior to realizing I'd found a new home here and subsequently registering. Is there any way to gather those prior edits into my new username? Thanks. DarkCarrot 20:00, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

Since I overherd your conversation as I passed by, let me try to give you a clear answer: No. That is, unless you can track down JasonR at Wikia and hand him a fistfull of cash to do a manual database hack for you. And last I heard, about 0 people have ever gotten that to work. Feel free to list those edits/IP addresses on your user page, but there's no way to tie them to your newly-created acct.
And really, unless you're some amazing writer, you'll probably be ashamed of them in another six months, and be glad they don't link to you. I know I'm damn glad that my anon-IP edits when I first came here aren't tied to my username.... Bone_F_clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 21:07, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
What he said. Seriously if its something that you are really proud of just add them to your userpage with a note that you created them under the anon IP address of #########. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb (talk to me)
Thanks, both.

Anything you can do?

Is there any way you could like... say... un ban me from #uncyclopedia and possibly remove MoneySign from the access list? ^3Ch^33h --Anidn Needs Ignorant Dumbasses to Not Meaninglessly Exile him from InterNet MeetingrOoms MUN FC4 .az VforIRCop(HOLLA ATCHA BOY!) 23:06, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

I don't have ops on #Uncyclopedia to do anything (why don't I have ops on #uncyclopedia, folks, for the love of jeebus, why?). I'm sure things will settle down and you'll be back..... -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb (talk to me)
I don't have ops either. We're not real cabal, I think.  :) ~ T. (talk) 21:15, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Looks like they are either planning a surprise party for you, or that someone has banned the whole of CGI.....try again now.... -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb (talk to me)
Cool, it works again now. Thanks for the help Mhaille. Have a made-up award.
