Something in the Feature Queue seems to have gone wrong and included a massive comment thing onto the Main Page. Any chance you can maybe remove the brackets in the comment in the queue and see if that fixes it? –SirSkullthumper,MD(criticize•writings•formspring) 23:06 Jun 16, 2013 00:20, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
I've left a message with User:Mhaille reguarding the main page. As this concerns the main page, I just wanted to check with a more experienced Admin before I did anything. I'll get on IRC and see if there's any other Admins on in the meantime. MadMax 00:34, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Please, next time you make a double redirect, please fix it.I know it's probably an oversight. Farted was redirected to Fart, and then you redirected Fart to Fartium, thus making the double refart.Sir Severian (Sprich mit mir!)
Oh yeah, you made a lot more than farting, lots to do with Macedonia and such...so in spite of making me work to fix your mistakes, I will graciously direct you to this page to check in the case, should you make more redirects...have fun!Sir Severian (Sprich mit mir!)
I originally merged Fart to Farting when, I believe it existed as a seperate article way back in 2005. I assume during the course of 2+ years the redirect was simply overlooked when the article was deleted, however its been so long I honestly can't remember. As for the Macedonia redirect, I reverted an edit by an anonymous user to its originial version from Macedonia to Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia by User:Votzmann last May. I certainly never noticed these articles on the Double Redirects, however please let me know if you notice any more. MadMax 21:05, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Sorry about that. I've reverted to its previous version with the exception of minor editing. Feel free to revert my changes, however. MadMax 21:05, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Could you restore 'mm'', which you deleted on the day of August 17 (Unless you're in Japan), for the purpose that... there was absolutely no reason to delete it, which you did? Thanks!-- French Guy 20:07, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
I've moved the article to your User page. I'd suggest working on it a bit more before moving it back again. In its present state, it will most likley get deleted. You might want to take a look at Uncyclopedia:Style Guide and Uncyclopedia:Pee Review for some helpful advice and suggestions. MadMax 21:07, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for bringing my article back to life as it's the second time its been deleted .
And i didn't even know its been deleted Richardson j 01:25, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Your welcome. I also moved the subpage from User:Richardson j/Alfred khan to User:Richardson j/Alfred Kahn. You might want to submit your article to Uncyclopedia:Pee Review if your looking for some suggestions to improve the article before moving it back to mainspace. MadMax 01:32, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip i might do that one i figure out how to pee .Richardson j 22:48, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Hey, thanks for helping me out with the pictures, it was nice pic of Churchill on a straitjacket (and i even credit u on discussioin page). Heck, you can check out my new article on straitjackets if you want. And yes, I would love it if you can contribute on adding a few more jokes into straitjackets. Oh, and this is my first article without any Pokereferences despite of the first pic on the right.--Dark Paladin X 05:00, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Glad I could help. I'm probably the last guy you'd want to be writing anything humorous, but I an certainly help out if you need it. MadMax 05:03, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Also, if possible u should try Pee Reviewing the article as well. Review here--Dark Paladin X 05:55, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
You made me a fancy new user page! Thanks! But it says that I'm on vacation, when I'm not, really, I'm just apathetic. Is there something I should do about that? I'd already have done something, but man, that would require effort. --Mejwell 17:54, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, the template is generally used for editors who have been generally inactive. I'll delete it immediatly. MadMax 02:35, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
I noticed you put up a page for pee review that had the template, but never a review page. The thing is, I don't think it's worth it. The user seems to be inactive, do you think maybe you could just huff the review page? P.M., WotM, & GUN,Sir Led Balloon(Tick Tock)(Contribs) 16:52, Aug 21, 2007
That's probably best, thanks for letting me know. MadMax 16:55, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
{{User anonymous}} is, as far as I see it, a worthless template that should be deleted. However, I just saw you (a couple of minutes ago) add it to several IP userpages. Now, before I delete the pages and list the template on VFD, do you mind explaining what you're doing to me? -- BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 06:39, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, I added them to get the user pages off of the wanted list page. I didn't think it would be a problem, and no one has ever said anything about it. If it's an issue, I can delete them. Thanks for letting me know, in any case. MadMax 06:54, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
As a general rule, all IP talkpages and userpages shouldn't exist. Nothing gives them that right. So yah, go ahead and delete them, and I'll VFD the template in the morning. -- BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 06:56, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
ZombieBaron, I removed the User anonymous from all the IP User pages with the exception of User:76.171.188.74, User:127.0.0.1 and User talk:4.252.99.182 (both of whom have been nominated IP of the month). The rest are used on 40 other regular User pages and I thought I should wait until after the VFD nomination before removing them. Of the 14 I removed from IP pages, I deleted User:68.213.210.245 as it linked to only one forum post and wouldn't show up on the wanted pages. However, I've spent the last few minutes on the others and while I would be willing to go through and remove their signatures from the respective pages they link to, more then half of them are linked to archived forums. I've instead added Category:Anonymous users in place of the Anon template as, I hope, is a suitable alternative rather than having 10+ user pages permenantly taking room on the wanted list. While even 20 of 1,000 might not seem like that much, it does make my job a little bit harder. :) However, I can still delete them if you still feel they should be deleted. I only wanted to state my opinion on the issue. MadMax 07:46, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
While I appreciate your assistance, I do not think most of your edits of my contributions have added to the wit, humour or particularly fit with the ethos, as I understand it, of Uncyclopedia. If I am wrong, please let me know. Phosgene 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Is there a specific article you're refering to ? I generally handle formatting, maintenance, etc. rather then writing articles. In general, and of course there are exceptions, the majority of articles should have at least one internal link, a category and link to at least another article. Exactly what that may be is of course entirely up to you as the author and your free to change or revert any edits I may have made. MadMax 00:10, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
OK - I get where you're coming from. Thanks for expanding on this - it seems very reasonable and I do want to be a good uncyclopedian, if slightly green so far! I'll check out some more of the pages you've been involved with for formatting know-how, etc. Phosgene 00:23 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Hey Max! I was wondering if you wouldn't mind having Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome either redirected, or linked to Thunderdome (drinking game). I'll tag The Thunderdome with a {{whoops}} or something, but the article is really more about the drinking than the movie (or at least 50/50). Thanks buddy. --THINKER 05:16, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Sorry about that. Its already fixed. MadMax 08:13, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Not a problem, thanks a lot for the help!! :) --THINKER 08:17, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
yo madmax: hey you deleted my article on keir the queer-one of my uncles made me create this article, and hes not really going to be happy with me if he sees that you have deleted it. i personally dont care, but...well if you could restore it, that would be cool. or maybe create an article on keir the queer yourself, maybe one that meets regulation, hmm? please? thanks! :D
