A Stupid Question

Why?:Are you huffing pee reviews? Aleister 3:33 20-3-'11

Because I said I'd do a review the other day and still haven't gotten around to it, so I decided to take out my uselessness on other people's reviews.
...okay, not really. I was deleting malformed ones - most of them weren't even review requests, usually just a link, or a bunch of stuff spewed over a page by some IP, or... well... that kind of thing. I blame a DPL idea I got. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 03:37, 20 March 2011
Maybe we can create a bot that quickly spins-out pics, articles and other odds and ends at a dizzying pace, attach it to Uncy's sandbox, and you can chase it around deleting its production for the next 11 days. That should keep you busy, and give the site time to heal after getting a lot of bed rest and ingesting lots of liquids. Both of which sound like a good idea right now. Enjoy, and see you during the one-hour writing thingy later on, if I happen to drop in for that. Bannion de Turin! Aleister 3:54 20-3-'11
I'm sorry. You're right. I make a horrendous admin. It is fortunate that after those 11 days are up, I will go back to being the same powerless user I always was, save for one slight change... the populace will now be aware. They will be aware of what I am apt to do, and they will avoid ever allowing me to do such things again.
Wait, what writing thingy? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 04:29, 20 March 2011 a few more days you'll start writing again no? And reviewing? Creating? I have no clue if you are a good admin (except your moment of tension easing diplomacy) wait (and your ability to admit something and apologise) wait (hours and hours of stuff that someones gotta do). But I think those hours you dedicate to the site are better served (in my humble opinion) with your writing, which I know you are good at ;) ;) ;)
The writing thingy is the 1 hour write-a-thon tomorrow. Im horrified with the prospect of something I wrote in one hour being sent to that (place we will not name) to be trash talked by other members of the com., but competitions are swell arent they? You should do it if you can :) --ShabiDOO 05:17, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
Whatever put the strange notion that I normally write stuff into you people's heads? I've already written more this month than I have last month... but that's not saying much, because I didn't write anything last month. I plead laziness. Writing takes effort, not like doing silly bot-things, and I can do plenty of those with hardly any rights at all. Normally do, in fact... perhaps I should stop. Sort the deathlist. Poor deathlist... it needs it mummy, doesn't it...
Er, I mean... um... oh. Right. That. Um. Crap. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 08:39, 20 March 2011

Not the only one. Chief said something menacing in response, and then Socky apparently decided to negate it. Alas. Meh, don't worry. The usual VFDers are staying out of this one, it would seem. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 20:05, 20 March 2011

No, I dont agree that they are all bad, but I have no problem with you voting against all of them (you didnt verbally trash them and spit acid on them, so whats the big deal). I voted for all of them (well minus one) so would be hypocrytical to cry about it. But a awful voting demo? Thats a realy intense idea of awful and cynical way to see it. --ShabiDOO 20:14, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
No, it isn't. It's a joke. Spıke Ѧ 20:17 20-Mar-11
To be fair, there wasn't even time to read all of them properly, let alone get in a wider opinion on the things... although I could blame the voting against all of them on the fact that everyone kept edit conflicting me when I tried to put in actual votes. But that's not the point. There's a yak on the loose. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 20:19, 20 March 2011
Haven't been following, but it's what I expect with a one-hour deadline. Separately, yes, Ammo was much worse, and you need not check. The sporked lists were longer, and the playful segues in Terminology are all new. And the background in the Kudlow UnNews was originally twice as long before it got around to the business at hand (Kudlow). By the way, on Kudlow's podcast off WABC Radio this week, Kudlow with guest Arthur Laffer was really wearing his heart on his sleeve--must have heard how crass he had come off (more likely from the Huffington Post than UnNews). Spıke Ѧ 20:15 20-Mar-11
Most of that went completely over my head. O_o 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 20:19, 20 March 2011
My page was huffed! A masterpiece, a Picasso on the trashheap, a lost Bach concerto found and used for waste paper. And the Kulow page, I lol when I first saw the headline on the site, thought it was about the best idea I've seen in weeks, that Lisa Kudrow would tell people that everything was all right. Then it was ruined when I saw it was about Kudlow. A true story. Both of them, actually. Aleister 20:19 maybe
Well, in any case, it was no joke for me nor probably most who participated in it and created something. I hope it continues and that people vote honestly and that it produces the beginnings of new and good articles in the making. --ShabiDOO 21:52, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
I never said I voted dishonestly, and Spike didn't even vote. But... er... meh, they do all kind of suck in their current states, but indeed, they should get better. When Aleister moves his back into mainspace, the masterpieciness should be much less questionable.
And UnNews is a mystery to me. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 21:55, 20 March 2011
Ehm, no Lyrith, you were probably the most honest voter ;), seriously. When Aleister moves it back to the main space it will blow our brains off so hard, we will understand even less how much of a masterpiece it is with its briliant briliantnessitcness ;) --ShabiDOO 21:58, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Is there a reason for Call of Duty: Black Ops to be redirected? Is it because the ICU tag went out? The last time I checked (when it was an article), the tag said that the article would be re-checked on March 25. --Gamma287 Tro-lo-no 069f11-1 MUN Icons-flag-us ☭Tetяis?

I don't see that it is redirected. It was nominated for deletion (Archive 232, Sec. 9) and I said the nomination was invalid because of the ICU. It is still tagged with ICU, expiring in a week. Spıke Ѧ 22:38 21-Mar-11

Image Huffing

Hello, may I present you with yet another opportunity to prove your complete and utter incompetence as an admin. Word got around that you were recently involved in a project regarding a mass execution of useless images on this site. Well, this image has several old versions which are completely identical to the current version, making them absolutely, entirely, totally, completely and utterly redundant. I had put them up for QVFD twice in the past, but they were ignored, and I didn't care, but now I thought that if you're so into image huffing, you might enjoy this. So for the sake of server space, would you please delete the old versions? Or don't, what do I care. Schamschi, 00:59, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

Honestly, there's really not much point in deleting the old versions as they are indeed the same, and technically admins don't have the power to actually delete anything from the database, just remove it from view. Stuff's still on the server after being delete, and that is why it can be hacked up later. That was probably why folks did ignore it on qvfd. If you don't care, however, why did you enquire then and why are you inquiring now? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 01:55, 22 March 2011
Ah, ok, I didn't know that the stuff isn't technically deleted. I mean, I guessed that it is not immediately deleted (seeing as it can be recreated), but I thought it is put into a trash or something from where it can be recovered for a certain period of time before being ultimately deleted. That's why I requested it for deletion, I thought it would clean up server space. But, seeing as it doesn't make any essential difference — to quote the bot-template on userpages of bots and *cough* some non-bots –, tough fucking shit. Schamschi, 02:16, March 22, 2011 (UTC)
I up loaded another completely identical revison just to piss you off, Schamschi. You're welcome. --Tophat headless 03:22, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

Call of Duty: Black Ops

I'm just saying, but that article contains plagiarized content from external sources. What the heck, Uncyclopedia isn't EBaum's World! (;*´Д`) - Barn-owl LOL vandalz 08:02, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

Well, I removed most of the content in general; dunno what may or may not have been plagiarised. But even so, when you find things like that, as with any other questionable content, take them to an admin or to VFD. If it is indeed plagiarism, mention that, and link to where it came from. Don't just redirect pages; that's not your call. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 08:52, 22 March 2011

The plagiarised content came from Comedy 23/6. including This, which I remember was taken from a website called VGBoxart, or something. - Barn-owl LOL vandalz 15:19, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

If you have proof of plagiarised content you speak to an administrator about it and they will take action. You are racking up a depressing number of bans for doing things that, while well intentioned, you should not be doing. It needs to stop. In terms of this article provide me with a link to the content along with verification that they have not plagiarised it from here (dates of creation) and I will remove it. --ChiefjusticeXBox 16:06, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

Can't you help beginners like us on developing articles instead of putting it in ICU maybe?

If you can't can you suggest anybody who can?!Wacko! 09:44, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

P.S. I need practice. Give me a chance.
P.S.P.S. If you can't, at least help me.
P.S.P.S.P.S. Why does contruction tag expire in a week? Because, as of now, I won't be able to re-check the article every week...
P.S.P.S.P.S.P.S. I'm not God to write an amazingly hilarious and divinely funny article in one go. Perhaps you admins should..umm... give us training or something??

Well, to be fair, most beginners utterly suck and chasing them away is a good thing... but that's not the point. You're here, you've passed the first test, and now the lessons really begin.

Firstly, don't expect too much, and don't be discouraged. Most people here are lazy and never do anything useful, just sit around complaining about all the new users or about all the old users or about all the articles or about all the... well, it varies. I think I had some point, but I forgot what it was.
Secondly, we all need practice, mon. It'll get better with time, though. If you want helps or ideas, you can do what Chief said, for lack of anyone specific willing to help... chat, er... IRC's sometimes an option, too.
Construction tags may expire after a week, but if you need longer, you can also move the page into your userspace and work on it when you get a chance; it's safe there. Put it back in mainspace when it's done. If your account won't let you move it yourself at this point, one of us'll probably be willing to.
Another thing - if you're doing a bunch of PSs or whatnot, it helps to indent them with a :. Also helps to use the preview button to see what you're churning out.
Anyhow, I forgot what I was saying, so... um. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 11:03, 22 March 2011
thanks, that was a lot nicer than I expected..
well, problems are:1) I had exams then, and no time; 2) I don't know the rules and technical stuff, which includes "I don't know how to move my article into userspace". So, could you do it for me?:)
Only 1 P.S this time, how did I pass the first test? (just curious..)
Nice is like a dead squirrel. Don't ask how; it just is. Anyhow, exams are dumb, and I don't think anyone knows the rules, and to move an article, there should be a move tab at the top of the page. Is there? Click on that on the page, then add 'User:Wack Broomhead/' to the beginning of the title. Without the ' things, though. Then tell it to move. Click the button or something. Consider this... training. Especially since I don't even know which article it is. As for what it is and how you passed the first test, it just is, and you just... did. Mind, it'd help if you'd log in and/or sign... 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 01:23, 31 March 2011

Are you seriously

considering deleting my article? with the amount of junk/vandalised articles on this site? I guess it has limited appeal for Americans, are you suggesting I turn it into an American newspaper for some deprived ghetto instead? What the hell. Shrooms Jello Shrooms 18:50, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

As there was no indication on the page itself that you had intention to do anything more with it, I was going off what was there already, which simply wasn't much. Stubs in general have limited appeal, and things specific to any relatively small region are likewise apt to not have much appeal to those outside, regardless of where specifically, especially if smaller. If you don't build off the fact that this is supposedly an encyclopedia, and use that to develop your concept and jokes more, chances are it'll be lost on most folks, and lose potential effect even on those who do know the subject.
As for the junk on the rest of the site, that's what VFD is for. Vandalised can be tagged various ways as well.
And Jack's got a point about the pee tag; usually you want to put a {{construction}} on these things if you're not done, but that'd work too. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 21:44, 22 March 2011

I found him chatting you up on your Wikipedia talkpage. Next thing I knew, he was a sockpuppet, and a vandal, and an indefinitely blocked user. Who the fuck is this guy? --Scofield 10:36, March 23, 2011 (UTC)

I was kind of furious when it happened. Nhlrules was actually not my account. And for some reason, my account got dragged into some other user's mess. I'm telling the truth. I had to change an IP range in order to reuse Wikipedia. I checked the other accounts and it apparently was some NHL bullshit. Smart. (?). As I said once before, I can do stuff here because my ego is rubbed and dusted on wikipedia, as pages I either wrote or did major things on and squat get upwards of 70,000 hits a day. So even as I stumble and slobber here I know that "information" I share on a daily basis is doing some good somewhere. This means I can write That time I nearly drowned during my sojourn on the Titanic and still feel like a real live boy. Aleister 22:51 23-3-'11

Hey lolipop. Totally unrelated. I had a "canadian" experience today. I had a doughnut called a "vanilla dip" and was aparantly the Canadian doughnut featured in a pastry stop. The American one was "boston cream". There was no Australian one. It was so sweet I could barely finish it but it had rainbow sprinkles on it and about 30,000,000 calories. I ate it in your honour. I looked for "tim bits" but couldnt find them. Tim bits are nice. EVIL JESUS! --ShabiDOO 00:46, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

Is proving to be really useful when it comes to getting help with an article, shame about the threat of deletion though.. Is there a place where I can put an article and let it be known that others can have their way with it and expand it at will? Shrooms Jello Shrooms 19:45, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

Oh, the threat of deletion is always there, at least until they get featured. But even then sometimes they get deleted. Not permanently, but... administrators can be rather silly at times. Anyway, the nice thing here is that even if something is deleted, it is not lost forever. Just ask an admin and they'll usually gladly hack things up for you, I've found. Damned helpful bunch, most of them. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 20:20, 24 March 2011
Oh, as for the other bit, no idea. Can ask around, but... I know on Illogicopedia there be an entire, mostly ignored, system for specifically that, but this place is a little different. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 21:02, 24 March 2011

Shame on the Hall of Shame

Since you are now huffing categories without VFD'ing them (Category:Hall of Shame), and putting in new pages concerning the hall of shame, may I ask what is your final plan? Are you planning on getting rid of the hall of shame in favor of some kind of individual page? Aleister 00:29 25-3-'11

I made that category in the first place as a container for the HoS subpages, but the name was misleading, so I deleted it and recreated the same thing with a more descriptive name. Because yes, that is... basically the intent at this stage - each user has a subpage that they can edit without messing with the overall table. With any luck, this will actually work and it will sort itself automatically, as with the current notion, the main thing will still be there, but it won't be edited directly. This should at least ease the concerns of those with trouble editing it, but as for what to do about it itself, hell if I know. I'm just the tech guy. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 00:44, 25 March 2011

Oh, right. Forgot about that. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 00:54, 25 March 2011
Sounds good! Have you tested it on one of the pages you created, to see if it shows up in the hall of shame page? And hopefully it won't require an edit button on all the hall of shame listings, Puppy tried that and it didn't look good at all, at all. And it's really not much bother to edit the hall of shame, just have to wait a few seconds of loading time which gives people time to contemplate the shame as they wait. Aleister 00:54 25-3-'11
Eh, have to figure out the DPL for that, first. It's definitely doable; should be rather like the VFH summary, but... less insanely complicated. As for where the edit button would be, I'm not there yet, either. Could be like the VFH things with (links), or maybe make the number into a link to the page itself? I dunno. And yeah, I've never had any trouble with it, either, but some people use stupider web browsers, so... 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 01:06, 25 March 2011

with feet. Thanks, the pic does look better on top. I'd say the quotes paragraph should stay as one paragraph, simply because listing all the quotes one after another takes away from the impact of the quick escalation of the arguments between the animals with feet versus the animals with no feet. The drama is in the fast pace of the insults. As scholars study the page they will surmise that each twist in this paragraph adds a particular direction and velocity of the conflict. I don't know why, but that sounds good. With feet 11:39 27-3-'11

Makes sense, except if you shove all the quotes into the same paragraphs, it also makes it a lot harder to differentiate who is speaking. People like me get confused. And frankly, that's just not proper grammar. *hmphs loudly* 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 11:42, 27 March 2011
I know, but it seems the pace is thrown off with the quotes separated. The pace is quick within the battle there. The first quote actually is separated. I wrote the thing last night as I went past a computer and logged in, did it ?logic style free-flow without thought, which I like to do but haven't done enough here. Just edited it a bit now, a couple of commas were needed. Thanks for drawing my attention back to it actually, I'd forgotten about it. With no feet 11:48 27-3-'11
More commas? I added a few, myself. o_O And yeah, don't lose things, here. Too easy to lose things here. Not good, not good at all, that. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 11:57, 27 March 2011

Hello, IP! It's really not in the best interest of the tidiness of the wiki to have an IP copy a Wikipedia article into mainspace and then work on it there. If you register an account, we'd be more than happy to put a copy of the article in your userspace, at User:YourNewUsername/Oxenford authorship answer, and then you can work on it there and move it over to Oxenford authorship answer when it's done. Does that sound reasonable? Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 15:03, March 28, 2011 (UTC)

Would you infi protect Jimmy Carl Black. Someone may come by and change it, as has happened in the past, and it's one of those stand-alone things with a history here, I've heard. Aleister 9:43 29-3

But it's already semi-protected; IPs can't touch it. Mind, I really don't like the idea of locking things up; just because we don't know of anything or haven't seen anything, that doesn't mean there won't wind up something worth adding/changing... on the other hand, we do have admins for a reason... *mumbles* 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 10:21, 29 March 2011

Europods, Mr. Winkler, things like that. Jimmy Carl Black isn't as well known but seems to be in the same category, if there was a category, which there shouldn't be because it would just be adding a needless thing to the page. I saw your note on Vikings about browser, and I'll get back to you later after I 'periment with a couple of things, but signing-off now. Now, this is none of my business, but I saw that Engl1shman had been deleting a lot of content from Rochdale today, and that you have banned him for that (presumably because you thought he is vandal). However, I would like to point out that he added a lot of stuff to the article yesterday, and the stuff he deleted today was just the old content (which also included an unnecessary list) prior to his additions. So what he did was not vandalism, but basically a rewrite. Now, that may not be nice or right either, but I think that his rewrite is a lot better, because it is more consistent within itself (or at least, most of it is). I just wanted to point that out, because your block reason sounds like you banned him for vandalism, when in fact he had contributed valuable content in good faith, albeit at the expense of old content that is, imo, not as good. Maybe it would be better to leave a note on his talk page or something. Schamschi, 16:39, March 30, 2011 (UTC)

Weird... I thought there was less article left after. I also don't recall it being that article. In fact, I'm not even sure that was the one I meant to block... o__o Oops. Er... thanks. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 01:28, 31 March 2011

Ah, very much obliged to you Schamschi! Thank you for your observation. I edited the original, then looked back at it the day after and decided the previous entry as wholly crap, so deleted it. Rightly or wrongly?!? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Engl1shman (talk • contribs)

No, you did fine; it was a mishap on my part, and on the parts of the users who reverted you. Usually you don't want to just remove content if there isn't much left and you don't have anything to replace it with, but in this case, that obviously shouldn't have been an issue, since it was still a full article. Sometimes they ain't afterwards, but... er...
Seriously, keep up the good work, mon. Just don't forget to sign your comments on talkpages and whatnot in the future with tildes (~~~~). 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 18:44, 1 April 2011
@Engl1shman: No problem. I had just discovered the joys of watching Special:RecentChanges doing its thing, i.e. changing, and found out to my delight that being on the lookout for and reverting vandalism and reporting vandals to Uncyclopedia:Ban Patrol proved to be quite as satisfactory as boycotting dodgy VFH-entries and slightly more entertaining than browsing through most of the articles on this site (although this might just have been the novelty of it – it might not be as much fun after a few months weeks days), so I was on the watch for vandalism. Of course, your edit stuck out, since it was a pretty big one, and I was instantly on it. I quickly looked over it (including your past edits) and decided that it might not have been vandalism (also because the stuff you had deleted included a list), and did not spend more time on it. Only when you were banned did I look closer into it. I read the old version, chuckled once (I think), and then I read your version, laughed very hard at the cock-fighting-history, the name "Barry Bumhole" and his quotes, then yawned a bit in the section "Tourist Attractions" but laughed again at the second-to-last paragraph in that section, and chuckled a bit in the final section. Coming to the conclusion that your version was not, as you so succinctly summarized the old version, "wholly crap", I decided to point out to Lyrithya that she had failed yet again. Btw, speaking of Lyrithya,
@Lyrithya: Did Evil person by any chance have something to do with that maniac who was fucking up Illogicopedia at that time? Schamschi, 21:00, April 1, 2011 (UTC)
You really have a high opinion of me, don't you? Mon, I don't know what your mother has told you, but generally people do not appreciate effective strangers putting them down beyond what is actually constructive, even if it is intended to be humorous.
And something, yes, but probably not what you expect. Unrelatedly, he's been banned here for months. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 21:27, 1 April 2011
Yeah, you're right, putting people down in an ironic way seems to be a habit of mine. And yes, apparently people often don't get that irony. But I only do this when I assume that the person in question will get the irony and won't take the insults seriously. As it seems, however, I was wrong. Or maybe it's just Poe's law in action. In either case, I didn't mean to insult or annoy you, I just thought that, because you have already taken plenty of (humorous) ridicule in the past month for your, er, faux pas, you would just laugh my comments off and not worry about them. But OK, I'm going to be more serious from now on. Schamschi, 22:30, April 1, 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for your consideration, however I am not saying you necessarily need to be more serious, just... blah, I'll spare you the sociology lecture. Thing is, I have done many things in the past month, and different folks have taken all of them in rather different ways, but people referring to me as various forms of a failure grows tiresome regardless of how true or how serious it may be. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 18:17, 2 April 2011

Took me three minutes to find a way to get back here, I had to go through pages before I could find a link. Do you use this horrid skin? I'll describe it. The top has "Wikia" on it!! with links to there "Create a wiki" and other things having nothing to do with uncy. Then it has these huge numbers, suppposedly of everyone's edits. Right side is mostly white (my skin the article stretches all the way across except for the navigation bar. I remember once you asking me "You have a rating button?" and I just ignored it, but this skin has no rating button, let alone a thin navigation bar down the left side. The search doesn't work. (My regular search is down the navigation bar on the left). My user page looks a mismash, and nothing looks good with the right-side white space looming there. I have faith I can get my skin back at some point (if not, I'm gone), but I'm wondering if some users user the horrid skin and don't know any better. Not as much panic as anger, anger that wikia would present this as a skin and that my articles are being seen by some people far different than how I write and format them. And mucho thanks too, for the vote on author of the month. That one is really appreciated, as I am proud of The Old Man and LV, which worked out just about what I expected it would when I was procrastinating on it, having just a name, for months. Do people just googling uncy get that skin, ever? Ads? etc. I think Why? indicates by his comments that he'd like to be opted out, as should the entire site. That is not funny, and if anyone uses it or is forced to use it, then it is not an April fools joke as much as a slap in the face to our users. Iz true! Aleister 2:14
Yeah, I'd like to opt out as well. I actually think that Lollipop's idea of fake sigs for today was more clever, although not as well done in his case. Symbol against vote JackOfSpades

[talk] 02:19, April 1, 2011 (UTC)

Al - some users do, indeed... and this why we had such an uproar when they mucked up the defaults a few months ago. But folks who start out on Wikia wikis and get used to it actually tend to prefer it; hell if I know why, but they do. Perhaps what one knows how to use, or something. But isn't it funny, in a demented sort of way? This is what Wikia would like to do. This is what possibly lies ahead, something that we try to pretend won't happen; we do have so much here based on what people fear or despise, aiming to insult and whatnot... hmm.
Anyhow, I asked Olipro to add you and Why???, since I'm supposed to not be an admin anymore... yeah. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 02:35, 1 April 2011
Thanks, dear. I was really planning on having some fun with this wedding thing, but I'm having an awful time doing anything on the site. I couldn't even log in with my usual browser, tried another and still had to open a separate window to log in. I can't preview pages, haven't yet figured out how to edit some pages, and it's not always recognizing the ? in my name. We actually lost my adopter Miley Spears because of this kind of thing; three times they made changes (not April Fools) that screwed her up and she finally gave up and left the site. If I'm not on here it's not because I chickened out. Really. But in any case, I'm going to get off for several hours. I have to go to bed. Er, um, wait, we're married, and er, um..... WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 05:04, April 1, 2011 (UTC)
Wait, are you still seeing it Wikia-ised? I mean, it's just for a day, but... *goes to yell at Olipro* And yes, yes, I'll come to bed later. Yelling first. Then bed. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 05:06, 1 April 2011
I appreciate it. It's still weird. And, um, about me going to bed on my wedding night and getting off for several hours.... WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 05:09, April 1, 2011 (UTC)
While I was posting that message, my screen changed to something else. Now that I'm posting a response, it's back to wiki format again. It's changed back and forth on me a few times--right now as I'm writing this the Summary says I'm on the front page. Oh, I guess it's supposed to. I'm confused, and I'm going to bed. I'll be waiting for you, sweetie. ;-) WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 05:12, April 1, 2011 (UTC)
Olipro added you to a list of folks that the js will exclude. But if you don't reload the javascript, it'll keep dong it... just do a reload on your browser whenever you come back. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 05:16, 1 April 2011
If I recall right HappyTimes also left because of the reskin. Two major users lost because of wikia fuckups, and we honor that as a joke? Why is the skin still up? Aleister 10:08 1-4-'11
Was that the reason? Fas as I know, he just disappeared... but... yeah. I'd probably leave if this was the reality, too. But it isn't. Sort of like all the other horrible jokes we have around... 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 16:16, 1 April 2011
Maybe not. I just looked at his last edits, and they were just regular edits, then he was gone and never came back. I hope he's not hurt or worst. It wasn't like him to just be gone. I do recall, and couldn't find it, him complaining about a reskin, so I thought that might have been his reason but he gave no reason and just, poof. Aleister 16:33 1-4-'11

Okey dlokely. To each his own. What skin do you usually get here? Does it have a rating button with 5 stars (that may be a good way to tell which skin is being used). Aleister 16:03
Better question is... does it have snacks? No skin is complete without snacks. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 16:27, 1 April 2011

I done put on my thinking cap and done figured out that one reason we will miss you and Socky as amins is that you are of a new generation of admins, and so many of the users here are semi-new. Socky isn't new, of course, but he fits in with that new generation of users (Lollipop, Mimo, Magic, the list goes on). I hope we have one of those sandwich things this month, so you can be opped for real. Because once all the deleted things get deleted and you're sated, then you can organized some really good projects. And thanks for the strange write-up on the author of some month page, you make me sound like a creep when all I am is a nice guy playing with the children who inhabit the park, and picking the wings off flies who, you have to admit, don't really need them to get around, do they? Aleister 16:08 1-4-'11

Socky is, however, crazy and not jaded in the manner in which most admins are, right? But folks can organise projects without adminniness. Only thing it's really useful for besides maintenance is editing protected things. Making skins and interfaces and pretties and sillies. And Aleister, you're just one of those glorious multifaceted folks. I couldn't help myself. Because they really don't. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 17:08, 1 April 2011

Our Wedding Night

In honor of our Wedding Night and our long future together, I have composed the following poem. Ahem.

The Wedding of Why do I need to provide this? and Lyrithya

by Why???

Lyrithya, Lyrithya,
last night was so great,
twas a wonderful tryst,
so much more than a date.

My heart it is beating
so fast I could fly
like the squirrel 'round my neck
when it's flung to the sky.

The ring on your finger
is a sign of our love,
an eternal reminder
of our night in the mud.

As I look to the future
with all of my powers
I see us together
another four hours.

Sniff... I always cry at gay weddings. --Black Flamingo 20:57, April 1, 2011 (UTC)
Yes, our wedding was very happy and gay. Wait; do you mean something else? WHY???| marries Lyrithya! 21:03, April 1, 2011 (UTC)
Two and a half hours, now... but what else could he possibly mean, than whatever it is he means? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 21:30, 1 April 2011
I looked it up on and discovered "gay" has so many different meanings! The list was long so I didn't go through the whole thing, but here's what I found:
1. gleeful, jovial, glad, joyous, happy, cheerful, sprightly, blithe, airy, light-hearted; vivacious, frolicsome, sportive, hilarious. Gay, jolly, joyful, merry describe a happy or light-hearted mood. Gay suggests a lightness of heart or liveliness of mood that is openly manifested: when hearts were young and gay. Jolly indicates a good-humored, natural, expansive gaiety of mood or disposition: a jolly crowd at a party. Joyful suggests gladness, happiness, rejoicing: joyful over the good news. Merry is often interchangeable with gay : a merry disposition; a merry party; it suggests, even more than the latter, convivial animated enjoyment. 2. brilliant.
Our wedding fits all of those!
And oh, discovering that gay also means merry, this year I hope we all have a Gay Christmas! WHY???| marries Lyrithya! 21:49, April 1, 2011 (UTC)

Divorce Settlement

I'd like to make a quick and easy settlement, and will give you a more than generous offer. I get everything except you get to keep the dead squirrel. I think that's more than fair.

Compassrose Serjeant-at-Law WHY??? (legal consultations)  00:19, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

I believe that to get a divorce both parties have to agree, or it goes to a long protracted legal case. Lyrithya has not, as I have read, signed a divorce agreement, and as an attorney I'd suggest that not only shouldn't L. sign one but that there are many more considerations to think of here. Be prepared to defend your position, why?, for your dishonorable divorce demand should not be accepted. Aleister 00:25 2-4-'11
Aleister, have you been hired as legal counsel by the divorcee-in-question Lyrithya? If not then you have no say in the matter. And need I remind you of our relative credentials in the Uncyclopedia Legal Department? I am Serjeant-at-Law and am board certified in Law of the Unglican Temple. Marriage and divorce are pro tem religious matters, and as such fall under my primary specialty. You, on the other hand, are a Congressional Liason licensed to practice guitar before the Supreme Court. The marriage did not, ipso facto, include a habeus corpus guitarist nor was it performed before the Supreme Court. Therefore, in legal terminology, Pfffffff! Compassrose Serjeant-at-Law WHY??? (legal consultations)  00:39, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
I was just giving advice to Lyrithya to not jump into a divorce, and to fight it if need be. If L. wants me to be one of her many attorneys I would be happy to comply. This divorce has no basis in law, uncy or otherwise, without the consent of both parties. To give a divorce so freely would be against L.'s best interests at this time. Aleister 00:42 2-4-'11
I've been studying the case. Although Why? asked L. to marry him, and then added a caveat "For one day", a marriage cannot be agreed upon for a set amount of time. The offer of marriage is, or course, legal, and when accepted and the ceremony performed (ring and squirrel), the legality takes effect. The only way to end the marriage is to go through a formal divorce, which cannot be done lightly. The marriage was performed and, if I read the page correctly, with intent to consumate and then with fucking and sucking and all that. Aleister 1:34 2-4-'11
If you will check your references, you will find that marriage can be agreed upon for a set amount of time. According to The Booke of Commone Wisedom, Chapter 24, "Nikāḥ al-Mut‘ah (Arabic: نكاح المتعة‎ temporary marriage), is a fixed-term marriage in Shi'a Islam. The duration of this type of marriage is fixed at its inception and is then automatically dissolved upon completion of its term. The marriage is contractual and is subject to renewal." Compassrose Serjeant-at-Law WHY??? (legal consultations)  01:40, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
A Shi'a Islam marriage would not include a squirrel, so your reference has no basis in the real world events which have occurred here. Sir, you are married, so get used to the henpecking, ball and chain, and having no free time from now on in. Aleister 1:48 2-4-'11
It was fixed-term and the term has ended, no divorce... shame; if there was one, I could have dumped all me debts on him. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 18:05, 2 April 2011

Srs biz? I don't know what that means. And what copyright issues? Do you mean the pic was huffed? Who huffed it? And since it was the basis of a feature page, why would it be huffed without a fight? Aleister 1:11 2-4-'11
It means I wouldn't be able to help you even if I was. TKF huffed it because apparently someone actually responsible for the thing contacted Wikia, and fair use does not cover illustrating articles that cover similar matters, only things rather more directly applicable, if that makes any sense. Sorry, Al. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 03:40, 2 April 2011
Did you see the new pic and caption? If you can't have the best (and I'd like to write the person if an address is available) you can have something from the rest. Aleister 18:26 2-4-'11
Which one? The balls one certainly is... interesting, though. o_O Anyhow, I checked the user's deviantART account, and it looks like it completely packed up. Deleted all its art and items and journals and things, hid all of the comments on its profile, and removed all other information, as well, so the chances of that are looking a little iffy. I could try to make you a less iffy replacement, but odds are, that wouldn't go terribly well, either. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 21:23, 2 April 2011
