Be nice.

A business proposition

I would like to rent the empty userbox on your userpage to advertise my userpage. Please write back on my talk page. -- Tinymooose.gif » Sir Savethemooses Grand Commanding Officer ... holla atcha boy» 20:40, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

Misspelling

I fixed your misspelling of "piece" on VFD, because I am anal-retentive and need a girlfriend. -- Crown His Royal Majesty, Simulacrum Caputosis the Great Crown 03:53, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

You can't seem to get your sig right...

So, here's what you do, friend.

  1. Go to preferences (--> [1])
  2. Change "nickname" into {{User:Joe857/sig}}
  3. Check the "Raw signatures (without automatic link)" box
  4. Save

And then your signature will work (providing you press the sig button Button sig ). Go ahead, try it over here.

Removing merge template

Just didn't think the Yakov Smirnoff article needed a merge template. But if you want to, re-add it. Sradec 01:05, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the vote!

Wow, you voted for me and against a whole lot of others! That makes me feel... special! You really helped my cause, trying to spread the word about not clicking links (and which ones) even further, and I thank you.--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 04:37, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

British?

Joe - I don't mind you constantly voting against my VFH entries, but just so you know, I'm not British (I'm from New York). Though I do enjoy British humor/humour. C'mon, man, what do you enjoy? Butter knife? I can't do a Butter Knife, man! But Bear's got profanity, oral sex, murder, gunplay, Latin, a panda cub, a raccoon, foraging, Fuzzy Wuzzy, even suckling! How is any of that British?!?

Oh well. Here's to hoping you find something I do in the future funny. ^_^2nd lt. sir wild weasel kun vfh fp Icons-flag-us sex & violence! 23:06, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

Twas a joke. I enjoy Monty Pithon as much as the next guy, but I didn't find that article funny. Go bitch somewhere else, man. --POJoe! Ireland TALKCONTRIBSF@H 00:53, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
Take 'er easy, Joe - I know you didn't mean anything personal, and neither do I. My note was left in a positive sense (note the ^_^ a the end and the purposefully non-threatening tone). As a writer, I feel for my work, and the fact that you don't like it doesn't make me happy, but I'm not trying to take you to task for it. You're entitled to your opinion, but I'm entitled to wonder why. Let's agree I'm not trying to hassle you, and you don't have to find anything I do funny. It will all work itself out. I'm sorry, but when I settle down to go on Uncyclopedia, and see that menacing orange rectangle, I hope to find some stupid complement instead of some stupid critisizm. --POJoe! Ireland TALKCONTRIBSF@H 22:01, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
Stupid complement, eh? I like the fact you have lots of clickable links after your signature. Rock on! 2nd lt. sir wild weasel kun vfh fp Icons-flag-us sex & violence! 22:33, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
Erm, thanks. --POJoe! Ireland TALKCONTRIBSF@H 23:47, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

I'm back

F@Hers rejoice. Though I think MoneySign did great in my absence, duly elected or not. I think I'll beg him to stay on.  :) ~ T. (talk) 13:35, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

Damn straight I did great! :D (Oh, and Todd never begged... He very simply asked and I agreed... Though technically he didn't even ask. --⇔ Sir Mon€¥$ignSTFU F@H|NotM|+S 01:47, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Protein-chip cookie

Hiya, Joe... Haven't seen you in a while. Though I had noticed a few times you were on IRC and some people there were getting on your nerves or something... Or did I see the situation all wrong?
Anyways, that's not why I'm here. I'm here to tell you... YOU'VE GOT ANOTHER COOKIE!!!!! It's been valid since 2006-05-09 03:00 (UTC) and has no expiration date. Oh, btw, the table in which you request your cookies be placed makes it a bugger to add a wee text to it. But I managed just fine, as you can see. I also adjusted your "Give me one" link so it actually goes to the edit of the award-section, not the whole user page.
Thanks again for your contributions in name of Uncyclopedia. Despite the fact that you're not doing it at amazingly high rates, I appreciate your kind of contributions equally to (if not more than) those of others. (Really... I'm not just saying that). Take care, and have an uber-good one! --⇔ Sir Mon€¥$ignSTFU F@H|NotM|+S 01:47, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Cheers for your WOTM vote

Hardmum Mrs. Fundlebuggy sends you a big pie and a warm welcome!

Thanks for voting for my son. He may be an ass, but at least he tries to be funny. And a lot of people do indeed laugh at his ass while they kick him in the shin and fill him with balloons. I know I do.

Cheers for the vote Joe, the gesture is appreciated. I might have come across all acerbic in my The Dice Man vote comments, but I was really only having a laugh. I genuinely don't mind if you think the thing isn't funny, but I was concerned that you seemed to think so because of things that didn't seem to me to actually be in the article. The book reference, by the way, is kind of random. "The Dice Man" is actually a book by Luke Reinhardt, but I made it instead into a medical condition, so I invented another book by a German author - merely because the name "Reinhardt" sounds kind of German - thus is the extent of my imagination. --Sir Hardwick Fundlebuggy (Bleat) 04:06, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Alright, thanks for sorting that out. I might have to go read that book now. --Joe!/TALK/CONTRIBS/F@H 14:01, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
