edit Welcome!

Hello, JoJoDeathunter, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:JoJoDeathunter/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If you want to write and don't know where to begin, browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!  --UU - natter UU Manhole 20:52, Jan 9

Thank you for your clean-up of this article. However, both the Change Summary and the External Links in the article give me the impression that the article's main function is not to amuse the reader but to document a concept fleshed out on your blog. This is a problem, as our Terms of Use requires that, in exchange for free access to web servers to write original comedy material, we try not to send our host's web traffic away to other sites. Am I mistaken? Spıke ¬ 13:54 9-Sep-13

My apologies, I didn't realise the links were against the rules, I have removed them now. Just a small correction, I didn't actually originally create the page, though I'll admit a lot of the text was written by myself. JoJoDeathunter (talk) 13:08, September 10, 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for that. However, as you've seen, I have nominated this article for deletion. If it indeed has comedy content above and beyond the external blog, and is not just a description of the blog, please explain this at Votes for Deletion and you will likely prevail. Spıke ¬ 13:21 10-Sep-13

That got it done, thank you! and you are welcome to poke around the site and participate further! Spıke ¬ 13:33 10-Sep-13

Okay, I'll be interested to see how this goes. Heh, it has been a while since I've been around these parts... JoJoDeathunter (talk) 13:44, September 10, 2013 (UTC)

It has picked up two more votes to delete (we require +5). ScottPat offers editorial advice, with which I concur. But the overriding issue is not our technical rules on content but the intention behind this article. We allow self-promotion within userspace (such as at User:JoJoDeathunter/Pieism) but not in the main encyclopedia. Let me know if you want me to move it there rather than delete it if the vote is to remove it from mainspace. Spıke ¬ 20:29 10-Sep-13

If it should come to that, I'd appreciate a move, thanks. JoJoDeathunter (talk) 22:07, September 10, 2013 (UTC)

The article has been voted deleted and is at the address shown just above. On reading it more closely, you seem to be the principal deity of this religion, and I probably should have quickly deleted it at the outset as flagrant vanity. Please don't contravene this vote and return the article to mainspace unless it is limited to original humor independent of you and your blog. Cheers! Spıke ¬ 15:46 12-Sep-13
