edit BM

Removing some rambling thing about not seeing the movie is not whitewashing. --ToastyCylon 05:34, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

No, you did not remove a "rambling thing", you reverted the entire article, which is illegal. I've submitted your name & IP to the admins, illegal reverts can get you banned --Jester 05:38, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Hey, I'm not homophobic or nothing. I mean, I went to see Rent with my girlfriend! It's not like I think watching the movie is gonna make me gay. I'm totally 100% straight. And I'm not just saying that out of some deep-seated insecurity or anything. It's just that I am straight, straight, straight. I'm just as straight as Mike Piazza.

thumb|A hot chick. Like I am totally into. Check out this hot chick, pictured right. I am totally into her. I would do her in a second. That's how totally straight I am. A gay guy wouldn't want to screw her. I don't have a gay bone in my body. The only bone I have is strictly reserved for females, like this hot girl.

You don't believe me? Check out my cell phone. I have the number of about twenty, no, thirty hot chicks. I could call any of them right now and they would totally be on my jock.

I am so confident in my hyper masculine sexuality that I would definitely see Bareback Mountain, if I wasn't so busy with working out (no, that's a bit gay) working with power tools, drinking beer, watching football, and going to shoot guns at bunnier I mean rabbits. As I've stated before, I'm straight. There is nothing that I fear about watching two hot, virile male specimens passionately kiss while tentatively reaching to grope each other's heavy loins to caress their firm manhood, straining for sweet, forbidden release in the strong arms of a lover. Other than total boredom.
This is rambling. --ToastyCylon 05:46, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

That's your opinion. And you reverted the entire article, including removing the critic's comments. Let's wait until the Admins pass judgement. --Jester 06:01, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
"Seems to be a minor edit disagreement between the two of them. Shouldn't be on BP"--ToastyCylon 06:21, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Good, you've stopped reverting. That's a goooood boy. In the future, remember to only edit the section you disagree with, and thanks for playing! --Jester 20:01, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Likewise. :p --ToastyCylon 16:43, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

edit Marilyn Monroe

  • "Tragedy is when I cut my finger, comedy is when you fall into an open sewer and die." - Mel Brooks

Thank you for your editing of Marilyn Monroe, I try to put together funny stuff fast, and often my articles need polishing. I didn't like the kitten picture very much, the whole kitten thing is overdone by now isn't it? I'm more a fan of the Wilde motif than the kitten one. I watch over all my articles a little too much maybe, but I'm proud of my comedic attempts here. Thanks again, if you wish to collaborate on an article let me know.--Claudius Prime 16:01, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

I thought the kitten cartoon was pretty appropriate. I always felt that both Wilde and the kitten thing were running gags here on the friendly Uncyclopedia farm! However, the black & white butch.jpg image not only adds abolutely nothing to the article, it's simply boooooring. "I, too, am at a loss"? Seem like an inside joke to me, doesn't it? But aside, I'm glad you like my edits. I'm just trying to "spruce things up" a bit, you know? --Jester 10:42, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
The butch photo is of Arthur Miller's wife, the photographer he was cheating on Monroe with... It's a vague connection that I should probably make more clear. Not an inside joke really, as much as a joke one has to pick up on by reading the article. Thanks again for edits, indeed, you spruced it up nicely.--Claudius Prime 20:01, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

edit Tom Cruise

I see you've reverted my work on Tom Cruise. I really don't get this whole "Tom Cruise as President" motif and what about it you find funnier than humour based on "reality". The article was whitewashed (as I said on the article's discussion page) because it sucked, someone labelled it as sucking, and a bunch of people tried to make it suck less. Now you've made it suck again. Nice work, if this was Encyclopedia Craptastica, which it snot. I see by your Talk page that you've a penchant for revert wars, and more specifically, increasing suckiness through revert wars. Please stop before you hurt yourself. Thanks. --Imrealized 11:28, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

  • First, I'm offended by your 'please stop before you hurt yourself' comment. This is about comedy, and threats don't belong here and often have a habit of working against the original intention. I'm mainly here to improve my writing skills, while being somewhat funny and doing it in a way that doesn't interfere with ma` day job, if you know what I mean... BTW, the whole "Tom Cruise as President" motif was there when I got here, but what I'm mostly attached to is the section on Tom Cruise's acting/script patterns. Your latest edits seems to be a nice compromise between what the two of us are doing, although I don't know what you have against the "Tom Cruise is not gay" bit - even you had written that it was funny? --Jester 17:18, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
    • Oops, didn't mean to offend with that one. It wasn't so much a threat as it was a word of warning like, "If you don't stop running with those chainsaws you'll hurt yourself." But I can see how you'd interpret it that way so I do apologize. I didn't have much time when I saw that my edits were deleted for that whole President spiel so I just did a full revert without reading the new material. When I did read it I tried to compromise the two (without much time again). With nothing specifically against the "Tom Cruise is not gay" bit, I will say that perhaps there are more subtle ways of inferring it, but I see no reason to delete it either. Thanks for your continuing efforts in building a better bridge into the Tom Cruise of tomorrow. --Imrealized 22:22, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
      • Thanks for your reply, I hope that we have an understanding now... I'm too sensitive to whitewashing - I used to be in P.R., and you'll find some paid celebrity pundits on the 'net now cleaning up behind their clients. Witness that someone with just an IP address removed our "Tom Cruise is not gay" running gag! The pundits are easy to spot - on Wiki, they will add a POV and say "I made it NPOV". Here, they will make an article not funny while claiming they made it funny. You and I are soldiers in the fight against bullshit!!! --Jester 02:20, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

edit A Returnee?

Hi Jester, I missed your earlier reappearance in 2012 but interesting to see you have popped back in here. Welcome. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 21:02, January 28, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, good to be back, it's a good comedy outlet editing here. For while I noticed that the edits weren't funny, they were stupid, and I kinda lost patience. --Jester (talk) 12:41, March 7, 2013 (UTC)

Welcome back again! I see you have done clean-up on three articles. I wasn't happy about the way you left that paragraph of Chuck Norris: Cleaner, yes, but a smiling-face or fan-boy treatment where I don't see what humor is left. Spıke ¬ 20:06 26-Oct-13
