edit Collaboration or something?

I came up with this thingy a while ago. It's supposed to become somekind of epic, witty, satirical and utterly hilarious continuation of your Scrub typhus article and my Comparative evaluation thingy. I'm kind of uncertain how to make it into something like that though. The "74 serum specimens from healthy Thai soldiers" part is certainly something to work with.

So... Are you in? Sir SockySexy girls Mermaid with dolphin Tired Marilyn Monroe (talk) (stalk)Magnemite Icons-flag-be GUN SotM UotM PMotM UotY PotM WotM 20:05, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

You know, if Dr. Daryl James Kelly ever stumbles upon these articles, he's really going to wonder what the living fuck we're smoking. Anyway, I'll do some brainstorming about "Expression and refolding," but honestly I'm not sure I could really make any jokes that I didn't make in "Scrub Typhus." Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 20:20, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, I was thinking about making this a more serious article. Since it's a continuation, I'd guess Kelly and the article narrator would be in a steady relationship. And maybe we can say something about a scientific conspiracy? I don't know. edit Okay then so

I've been paying more and more attention to music in the past year and I've established a front on the joys of revelling in resonance. I've listened to all sorts of artists, old and upcoming, and of varying genres - and they each surprise me and give me entertainment that I never realised I could have - from blues, to prog, to dance, to electro, to classical even - in the days when all I listened to was the 1990s alt rock from my brother's CD collection. I am still very much trying to formulate my own approach to music in written form.

What interests me all the more however, I have found, is catching a genuinely new artist. For example, I've listened to two artists for the first time in my life quite recently: Ultravox and La Roux. Both of them dabble in electro based sounds, but the former has been around since the late 1970s. The latter has an album out next month. Ultravox, a highly experienced band, have an entire library of chart-domineering hits, but I am far more interested in listening to the enigmatic and youthful La Roux instead, despite having only heard the one single from them so far - it's just new and never been done before. A career aspect I want to take on myself.

And along the same lines, I encounter that same feeling where the old is overthrown by the new when I listen to some of your own work. I gather that it is mostly five years old now (I presume from the dates given in the link you gave me), but needless to say I still regard it as new music, as we are still at the end of the 00s. You take on an indie and alt rock approach to music and that very much fits in with the rising genres that define this decade.

My own cousin is in the same position as you and I've had much joy from being one the first people to latch onto music not attached to a label - there are only so many questions I want to ask a new musician churning out their own sounds. What are your origins and attraction to music? What specific influences would you hold key to your modern understanding of today's music? What, in fact, drove you to publish these ten songs? --SoIwastolazytolearnGermanic.jpg-kun "whisper sweet nothings into thine ear..." 00:13, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Heya Nach! Thanks for listening! The age of those songs kind of varies. Kinetic-2 is only like two weeks old. Baking Clay to Brick and Clearheaded are also semi-new. The oldest one is Veto Pen which was written back in like 1999.
Anyway... to answer your questions... my biggest influences are probably Duran Duran, R.E.M., Death Cab for Cutie, They Might Be Giants, and Tori Amos. I'm not saying those bands are exactly the most relevant out there, or the most "key to understanding modern music," but they're what resonated with me. Can't say why. Sometimes it just seems like taste in music is pre-programmed... when I was 13 and I heard "Losing my Religion" for the first time it just about knocked me clean off my feet.
In terms of what drove me to publish those songs... that would be just another front in my ongoing and futile quest to have sex with a woman again someday. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 06:14, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

I have a theory on teabagging (in video games, obviously. IRL, Teabag everything that moves is a much better strategy), only do it when you really did something awesome to a guy. Just so you know, chapters 4 & 6 are still voiced by Tim Roth, from before. It's all one big monologue--the "Tarantino Monologue"--hence the ellipses at the end of 2, the start and end of 4, and the start of 6. —Unführer Guildy Ritter von Guildensternenstein 06:08, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

edit Thanks for Peeing on Brooke Shields!

I posted a thank you under your Brooke Shields review, but wanted to say thanks here too. Your review is very helpful because you gave me specifics. Most of what you said was weak I wasn't sure about, so it will go in the dumpster. The only part I really don't see how I can totally cut is any reference to Michael Jackson. He's really big in the news right now, and he really did date Brooke Shields, and really did go to Elizabeth Taylor's wedding with Brooke, and really did have Brooke speak at his funeral (what she said was very touching, but I don't think I can use that here.) But almost everything else you said I'm working on now! Thanks again! And would you mind doing a quick look through the article if I let you know I revised it? I don't mean a full review, just like "this part is better, but this other part still sucks." I'm hoping to improve my 39.5 score. :) DAP Dame Pleb Com. Miley Spears (talk) 02:00, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

I just majorly rewrote the article and then went back and reread your Pee Review. I realized I followed virtually every one of your suggestions. This wasn't because you made them, but because I thought you were right. I cut the Michael Jackson section and most of the MJ references after I finally realized I didn't find them funny. I just have a couple brief Jackson references that I think are useful. The Filmography is gone. I still think it had some chuckles, but it was a big box that got rather dry. It was hard cutting out parts I worked very hard on. But if it doesn't get up the humor, it's circumsized. (By the way, can you find out how many times the article was previously huffed?) DAP Dame Pleb Com. Miley Spears (talk) 06:55, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

I think it looks great - and ready for prime time. I've nommed it over on VFH. The only change I'd suggest now (post-nomination changes are always sort of discouraged, but this one is fine, I'm sure) is to reword the sentence about Agassi's quote - it states that their marriage ended because he said that, rather than that being his explanation of why their marriage ended. Good job, Miley! As for how many times the article was previously huffed - I don't think I can see that. But an admin probably can - you might want to ask MrN9000. Cheers! Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 16:45, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

I like that better, but I want to keep the playing with balls so it could be tennis balls or, uh, some other kind. Miley Spears (talk) 21:15, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

edit Please take care of this

The change involves the addition of a picture that falsely identifies a user here. You may not have seen the controversy, but the user who's allegedly pictured became very upset over this because it was repeated. The person who made the change below knew of this problem, and even apologized for unintentionally starting it. Now this:!&curid=413676&diff=4101727&oldid=4100408

This is where the person who's apparently trying to restart the whole problem apologizes for starting it in the first place

This isn't Hyper's problem. Please stop dragging people into this, growing, shitstorm. Did you already leave this message on Mordillo's talk page? Let him deal with it. He'll get to it when he can. And just to say, Hyper isn't an admin, nor could we afford to loose his writing talent.    Orian57    Talk   Union pink 05:37 13 September 2009
Hey there, WDINTPT. Looks like Orian jumped in and beat me to it - but the bottom line is, I just write articles here. I've got no authority whatsoever. Occasionally, I get drunk and log in as User:Inebriated, at which point I gain the authority to show you my penis. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 05:41, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
I thought Hyperbole was an admin, or I wouldn't have left it here. Now that it's supposedly solved, we have a user who first apologized for starting the whole thing, and said let's put it behind us, who is now trying to start it all up again. I want this to be dealt with ASAP before a formerly upset user sees this. WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 05:42, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
It's a shame I didn't know you thought I was an admin, or I would have abused the privilege. I'd have been all, like, "Hey WDINTPT, write me a sonnet or I'll fucking ban you!" Anyway, my position on this controversy is that EMC is cool and Miley's one of my favorite new users and it would be nice if they could each buy each other a beer, buy me a beer, write me a sonnet, give me a backrub, buy me some pants, and call it a night. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 05:46, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
I don't know how this started or what going on, the situation has only been drawn to my attention because it's getting out of hand and yes, by the looks of it Opty is pushing it a bit far, but please just leave this to Mordillo who's more capable than any of us. And I agree with hyper, all parties involved should just drop it. because stuff like this can drive people away.    Orian57    Talk   Union pink 05:50 13 September 2009
Just to clarify Orian's remarks, he means that he agrees that all parties involved should just drop it and buy me some new pants. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 05:52, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
Could someone explain why I keep seeing "drop it" and "pants" in the same sentence? Is it because they are? --C:\syndrome\_ 05:56, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
Are we talking about my pants, your pants, or Miley's pants? Because the first is gross, the second is gross, and the third will get us all sent to prison for a very, very long time. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 06:03, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
Don't be silly. HUGS! DAP Dame Pleb Com. Miley Spears (talk) 04:46, September 14, 2009 (UTC)
A bit far? All parties involved had dropped it. EMC apologized, Opty apologized, Miley said she understood it was all a misunderstanding, Mordillo explained his response and actions, and I finally shut up my big fat mouth and got my nose out of everybody else's business. Everything was going back to editing this wiki to make it funny not stupid. Now we have a person who's trying to get it all started up again. I sincerely hope this gets fixed before we-know-who sees this. All right, I'm going to shut up and take a break before I start spewing. WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 05:59, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I see, you're irritated at OptyC for putting up that picture. Hey, it's a stick figure with boobs. I don't think Miley's going to be offended by that. It's just a joke that references the drama. I'm not going to shit myself over it, except that I just did. Okay, I'm not going to figuratively shit myself over it. Just literally. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 06:06, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
I hope you dropped your pants first, preferably not in front of Miley Spears, as that could get you sent to prison too. Probably. I mean, they haven't caught me yet. --C:\syndrome\_ 06:10, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
I do believe she's offended about the cliche naked fat guy picture. --Mn-z 06:49, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
Did you just call EMC fat?? DRAMA QUEEN! Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 06:51, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
On a more serious note, if you consolidated all those pictures into one picture, I'd be all like "Hey, Mnbvcxz, you've done Uncyclopedia a great service!" Then I could easily go through and remove it from all pages where it sucks, which is all pages. Then we could VFD it as orphaned. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 06:53, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
I did as best as I could, consolidating in File:Fat guy.jpg. Unfortunately, File:Pieeater.jpg was on two old forum posts. --Mn-z 07:21, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

You-know-who saw this. And she saw one person who was trying to stir up trouble and a lot of peeps who care. I was upset about something else before this started so I acted like a silly Drama Queen. Sorry and I promise I won't do it again. Not until next time! Huggies for everyone who helped! DAP Dame Pleb Com. Miley Spears (talk) 04:59, September 14, 2009 (UTC)
