That is an adequate piece of creative writing. However, to rise to the level of good satire, it should make a clearer link to some Microsoft treachery in the real world that it is making fun of. Otherwise, it is just a flight of fancy.
Also, please go easy on the nonsense numbers. (Other helpful suggestions like that are in our sensitively named How To Be Funny And Not Just Stupid.) Also, if you're going to quote Bill Gates, don't be so vague as to when he said it. However, to play games with current events, instead of adding to the encyclopedia article, try writing an UnNews.
