You're clever indeed, Codeye. However, I want to make it abundantly clear that none of what I said was meant to be insulting; I simply think that being brutally honest is the best way to review a work, and I tend to lean on the side of harsh grading. Like I said, your article has a lot of potential.

You obviously put a lot of effort into that analysis, and while I applaud your effort (indeed, I'm flattered), I must say that you've almost entirely missed the mark on me. Truth is, I'm 17, a libertarian, and I certainly don't own my own house.

I probably didn't understand your article that well because I am, in fact, American. While I do have a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor, some of the points in the article didn't suit my taste. By no means does that mean that it's bad, simply that it's not my cup of tea (and I know how much you Brits love your tea). To me, it felt like there were two different approaches that you were making to the same article at the same time, speaking in terms of humor. Maybe I'm wrong; it's only one man's opinion, after all.

As you would say across the pond, don't get your knickers in a twist. Just remember that it's all in good fun, and the bottom line is to make people laugh.

Oh yeah, the longest English sentence crack? That was just me being a prick. Ignore that if you wish. :P --Sir Judgement F@H UmP VFH {talk} 06:34, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

UPDATE: I just made a disambiguation page for Terror. Now we can take all of the stuff for the country article off of the concept article. :D -- Sir Judgement F@H UmP VFH {talk} 02:33, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

UPDATE #2: Looks like I took something a bit personally. N00bness sux, don'it?! Sorry, won't happen again etc etc etc  :-> Codeye 09:39, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Ey oop Codeye - just a quick heads up - please don't add your own opinions on what is and isn't funny to articles themselves. If you want to add content, fine, but if you add stuff like "this bit used to be funny but it isn't now" to an article, then I or someone else will remove it. Opinions are for talk pages. I know humour is subjective, so I'm not going to get into an argument on what is and isn't funny, unless it's blatant vanity, offensive without redemption, or {{UN:LIST|nothing but a pointless list]], I'm not gonna touch it. But keep your opinions to the talk page, alreet? --UU - natter UU Manhole 11:17, Mar 3

Tell you what, just to kick-start your collection of templates and things on Uncyc, I shall bestow upon you a cookie. It may not be a sausage cob, but it is a tasty treat and something to display on your userpage to show you have been noticed. Get yourself noticed around the site, and it should be joined by more impressive things before too long. ;-) --UU - natter UU Manhole 10:43, Mar 16

edit Thanks for the review.

As for the british whore reference... Don't take it personally. You seem to have a lot of cookies, can I have one? ~~Sir Fightstar Rocks! CUN 04:30, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Also, "faggot" is just an insult, not a gay term. ~~Sir Fightstar Rocks! CUN 04:39, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
You are welcome, dude! I getcha with the 'faggot' thing I think, we say 'gay' over here to mean crappy or lame, without it being anything to do with homosexuals at all.

I didn't take the Brit crack to heart, don't worry mate. I'm sure I've called you Yanks worse over time anyway. :) As for the cookies, I'm surprised you noticed them at all, really. I thought maybe they were a little too subtle? I'll see what I can do.. Codeye 08:06, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Yay! Cookies! Also, I was adopted by Orian, so I have to put up with it every day. Also, I did something to make the article less confusing- I capitalized this and that when I was talking about the people. ~~Sir Fightstar Rocks! CUN 16:31, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

edit Pop-up ads

I saw your comment on Uncyclopedia:Report a problem. I know of no policy change, have not seen this effect, and can see nothing in the code of the Nottingham article that would produce a pop-up. As you are seeing "relevant" pop-ups, it suggests adware on your machine, which might happen despite your use of an ad-blocker, as people are always inventing new techniques. Why don't you also check at User talk:Aleister in Chains? He is perennially suspicious of our web hosts (and of all capitalists) and would have noticed and would have reacted the same way if Uncyclopedia really has a new problem. Spıke ¬ 16:51 8-Mar-13

Many thanks for the quick and v. thorough reply. I'm using a borrowed machine at present since my hard drive packed up the other day, so it may well be something on this machine rather than on the site. I had kinda forgotten that until u suggested it might only be this pc. Ho hum. Cheers Codeye (talk) 17:01, March 8, 2013 (UTC)

"Borrowed machine"?! Case closed, I think, until someone else sees it too. Spıke ¬ 18:41 8-Mar-13
