edit Welcome!

Hello, Azivegu, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for registering an account. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there and there is a window over here if you don't fancy walking down the stairs. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

Chief welcomes you!

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help then these links are useful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but most people enjoy writing something while they are here. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example,User:Azivegu/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. You can also look into the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program.

OK, I know you may have seen this message on lots of other people's pages, but I still had to come to your page to leave it here. If you have absolutely any questions, no matter how trivial, feel free to ask me here.

Here are a couple of important things that you should bear in mind as a brand new user, especially if you can't be bothered reading the beginner's guide.

  • Read HTBFANJS I guarantee it will be a huge help to you and will stop your early efforts being deleted on sight by administrators.
  • If you want to create an article, and you wanted to call it Bleurgh, to create it in your user space you would just make the address bar look like this: user-name here)/Bleurgh. Please don't create it on this page as this is where other users can contact you.
  • Always remember rule 2 and be constructive and civil at all times. Honestly, it works (mostly) and it won't get you banned.
  • Have fun, that is after all why we are all here.

Again, welcome!  ChiefjusticeDS 18:43, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Welcome back after years! Unfortunately, the article you edited was voted a Featured Article to run on our main page. Such articles are assumed not to need new help being funny, such as replacing random information in the Infobox with different random information. I undid your edit and, as I had JavaScript switched off, was not even prompted for a Change Summary that would have explained it to you. Sorry about that! Spıke Ѧ 01:00 12-Jan-15

--No problem. Didnt notice it was a feature article. --User:Azivegu

I must modify your post! Use four tildes to sign posts. What you did was put the name of your user page in double-curly-braces. You don't have a user page, but if you did, this means its text would be pasted into this page (and presumably, everywhere else you made a signature)! I got away with it because I have a signature file, which is separate from my rather massive user page. See UN:SIG for details. Spıke Ѧ 01:26 12-Jan-15

--Haha, thanks. Its been a while since I've been here. Mainly just for some kitten huffing and haggii hunting. Thanks for being patient with me! --User:Azivegu

Did not know that was the plural, though I have always struggled with "Jesii." On Haggis, I like your corrections and removing the stuff about "being a pansy," but the result is a long list, whose only humor is the slapstick humor of "falling to your death." As we set out in UN:LIST, if you see a long list, you ought not assume longer will be even funnier. Your new final item is meta-humor which works as a conundrum but won't make anyone laugh. PS--Kitten Huffing and even Oscar Wilde are falling out of favor; new uses really need to be clever and different. Do try signing by typing ~~~~. Spıke Ѧ 01:32 12-Jan-15

--I wouldnt be surprised if they fell out of favor, but they are some of the first articles I came across, so they stick with me the best. I'll try and clean it up a bit and make the haggii death list a bit less repetative. Azivegu (talk) 01:39, January 12, 2015 (UTC)

A list has evolved at How To Be Funny And Not Just Stupid of things that were funny "in the day" but have been tried too often. As anything will, as the cast of Saturday Night Live will realize, some day. We have gone Adult these days, and esteem new approaches rather than the imitative. Spıke Ѧ 01:45 12-Jan-15
