Hi! I read your review and I admit, it seems like the article is pushing a point of view across. I wrote other articles about conspiracies where the conspiracy believers are totally destroyed and made fun of. This is only an angle I chose for that topic, I knew that it would ruffle a few feathers. It was not intended to shock anyone, I read it again after taking into consideration your vitriolic comment and still think it's funny. And saying I think the US government is the source of all ills is ridiculous, go read any article about a country here and it will likely belittle that particular nation.
I appreciate your comment and I moved it on the article's discussion page where it belongs. Mattsnow 18:53, March 19, 2012 (UTC)
- I should've put that little comment there. Anyways, your article would work great as a parody on the beliefs of conspiracy theorists, though a satire of satirizing an issue satirically would require a bit more effort in subtlety. Happy trails.--126.96.36.199 11:47, March 22, 2012 (UTC)
- No problem, here's an article I wrote with another guy that is really mocking a conspiracy theory: Bohemian Grove. I also just finished 1984, if you read the book, I think you'll like. I retouched a little bit the 9/11 article, but it still is a long way from being funny for everybody. Also, you should consider creating an account, you write pretty well! Have a good day.
