Lowell is a city in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, spanning the Merrimac River with 4 bridges and a catapult. Known as the Mill city since 1844, Lowell boasts a major state university, hideous architecture, curious odors, and a fair number of literate citizens.
The city of Lowell (estimated 2010 human pop. 420,000) was originally inhabited by aboriginal native Americans around 8,000 years before the birth of Christ.
