For a couple of weeks now, my username has been hunted down across the various sites I use it, even in forums I no longer use. What was posted to me in all forms were pleas from random people I have never spoken to join the other Uncyclopedia. Some were decent enough folks underneath, some were virulent uneducated spammers. But their message was clear across the board; this place sucks, join ours, we're better.

Then came messages on Facebook, despite no link to TheDarthMoogle there. While blocking them and eventually shutting their accounts down altogether is a short term solution, there are people that know who I am, that pisses me off for various reasons.

This is a level of fucking ridonculous that I'm not going to contend with. I'm crossposting this with the other site, and I'm fed up with this pseudopolitical bullshit that may well have brought harm on me should these children have desired that.

What the fuck did you lot do to those people to give them the idea that they have the right to track me down and harass me?

A number of people were stampeded off this website five months ago with promises of greater creative freedom--which, since that point, has basically amounted to a welcoming home for writing stuff too tasteless to prevail here. The competing site has no business plan except to make us fail, by claiming that it is Uncyclopedia and we are not. It was begun in order to let a few insiders exercise their usual whims with complete impunity. Certain of its members have returned continually to try to cherry-pick our good writers away--or to call me paranoid for stating what is happening.
"What did you do to these people" is not always a valid question. (Cf.: What did we do to the enemy at war or to the terrorist?) But all we did is be adults and resist the notion that we would be delivering some vague anti-corporate or anti-capitalist message by leaving this website over manufactured issues (content warning and censorship) that did not begin with our webhost but with the lawsuit- and regulation-happy country in which it is located. I guess that's as good an argument as any. You may close this and bin it if you wish. --TheDarthMoogle (talk) 13:02, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
