Shedtroll. No other word strikes so much mystery, confusion and bemusement to so many people. Nobody knows what he is, where he is, or even if he exists. All we know is he's not the stig...or is he?

The first record of shedtroll has been dated to the year 7000BC. It is a simple cave painting depicting a figure (it is unknown what sex, very unusual for the time) in the center of a circle within a square, house shaped box.

There has been many legends of the 'Hertmit of the Web' around the internet. This legend has been around since the internet began and has been described as the world's oldest 'meme'. The image of the geek living on the internet has been described as 'regularly imaged, never named'. This is what the shed troll is thought to be.
