Once upon a time there was a little girl named Llwy. As was the custom in those days, she had been sent to a boarding school. You know, one of those British things where they drink tea all day. This particular school happened to be in Cardiff. Anyway, she had a decent grasp of English, and she thought this would be enough to get her by. It was...at first.

The other students were mostly not too bad, if they did insult the Welsh a bit too much with their scribblings on the blackboard, but she always erased what they wrote. The teachers even seemed to approve, which was unexpected. She became friendly with the headmaster and they exchanged ideas civilly in a way never before heard of. But this was soon to change.

Since this was in Wales after all, some of the students were given to speaking Welsh. Nobody cared at first. However, when Llwy decided to join in one day, she encountered a new policy: speaking Welsh was simply no longer allowed. It was considered to be threatening to the British establishment, national unity and all that, and the new policy had to be enforced on everyone, regardless of whether they were actually a threat. And so it was that, the first day Welsh Not was enforced, Llwy was the last one in class wearing the board, and she had to be hit with a ruler. Pity.

The above is my story. Llwy is me, Llwy-ar-lawr, and I have been subjected to Link Not. Unlike in the analogy I have made, the damage is done only to Wikia: it will have one fewer user.
