Assassin's Creed is a role-playing game for the Playstation 3 and X-Box 360, released in 2007 (or during the Third Crusade, depending on your understanding of the space–time continuum). The game's plot circles around the Knight Templars and the Assassins during the Third Crusades, which ultimately ends up in a battle for the Apple of Eden, which is arguably the plot that Michael Bay plans to direct a movie around of next.

Altair the assassin. His weapon, his hidden blade. His target, your life.

edit Story

In 2012, a young potty-mouthed lad by the name of Desmond Miles is kidnapped by psychotic scientists from Abstergo Industries Incorporated Lab of Study on Assassination and Ninjitsu and taken to a machine called the Animus. In the Animus, Desmond is reconnected with his hip many greats grandfather from the Third Crusade by the fear-striking name of Altaïr ibn-La'Ahad, also known as Altair, and "That assassin! Get him!", he is the first assassin Desmond must against-his-own-will synchronize with. However, he must follow the three tenets of the Creed.

However, in the beginning, no matter what Altair breaks all three tenets of the Creed an must take nine Templar lives to redeem his honor and rank within the Brotha'hood.

A classy assassination move.

edit The Creed

  • 1) Never ever kill an innocent person, unless they have the potential to become a bad person
  • 2) Hide in plain sight and hope for the best
  • 3) Never expose the Brotha'hood

Out of all the three tenets, the second one is the easiest to follow. The first one is easily broken because many civilians will run into Altair after he assassinates someone, which means Altair is knocked onto his bottom frequently.

The third one is invitational.

The second one is quite easy because the Templars can't tell the difference between an assassin with weapon sticking out his back pouch on his sash, from a scholar. Also, leaping two-hundred feet from the air into a haystack won't whatsoever kill or harm you in any way possible.

edit Sequel(s)

The game is carried on by four sequels which feature the same exact plot of assassination:

  • Assassin's Creed II
  • Assassin's Creed Brotha'hood
  • Assassin's Creed Revealations
  • Assassin's Creed III
