THIS FACTION IS TO BE AVAILABLE TO ANY UNCYCLOPEDIA EDITOR.
Do you like Urban Dead, but think it's missing a few VITAL points? Such as flying, sub-machine guns, and CHAINSAWS THAT ARE ON FIRE? Do you wish you could throw police cars at your enemies? Well then, the Uncyclopedian Forces of Nexus War are for you!
We are sorry, but the Uncyclopedian Forces do not accept invitations from demons. We are also sorry Asema is a dick and remade this page.
Nexus War is a MMORPG. About the death of the universe. Choose to be an angel, a master of the forces of good and light, to protect the weak and hunt the foul! Or maybe a demon, a foul creature from the depths of Stygia, capable of rending a human in two with their claws! Or be neither, just a human with extensive Nexus training, just trying to survive. Will the Uncyclopedians get the chance to rebuild the new universe in their own image, or will we have to contend with cliches for all eternity?!
A vital strategy in creating a supereffective character is to make an extreme build. Most of our factionmembers, from our gun-toting doctor Bonner, to our rifle obsessed leader Han, to our faction wizard packing spells, swords and bows Asema... all of them have builds. You're going to need one.
No, really. Even if you didn't start out with a combat skill, you still need a way to defend yourself if that wise guy decided to start smacking at you with a golf club. Han Sabre can make you a pristine firearm of any kind, and Asema can make you armor; if you like, Mejezfeld or our other crafters can make you a sword. Repairs are free. All in all, there's no reason not to have a weapon.
The stronghold is a bastion of peace, love, and safety for everyone. It ensures that no one dies (mostly). More importantly, it's where you get access to nearly all of the UN:Forces services.
URGENT REQUEST: Healing. I just got hit with Defiler Poison. Look for meh in [14,23] in Normal Land. (Also known as, St. Germaine.) --SPYAdministrator(Complain|I rock|In memoriam)HMRFRAWH 23:25, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
You still owe me TWO, PRISTINE, PUMP ACTION SHOTGUNS. You ain' getting an Axe from me. Well, you probably will anyway. --Lt.High Gen. GrueThe FewThe Proud,The Marines 21:15, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
Alright, I know everyone's upset about the Conclave. Infusion-vulturing them, or setting up again, or attacking them, or anything, will not be effective and will simply keep us from having a permanent, situated base to get ready for raiding them and to keep our members safe and gaining XP.
Blah, blah, blah. I know. So I'll get straight to our options.
These are the options I consider viable. You're welcome to place yours here, but if you want an infusion war or shot-session, you'll be out the faction's most magically inclined spellcaster.
Although this could present some Alt questions, I say we just use our UN:Forces alts if we have anyone in the CotL. So, we call upon the Children, and ask them to help splatter the Conclave onto the pavement. Since Blackport is our ultimate goal, alliances will be needed. Our problem is we cannot ward against alignments.
So we move somewhere close to a hospital, get some XP, get some amphs, and raid them. Simple enough, but we have to be very prepared and find a way to circumvent attrition.
Y'know... as fun as it is to have a stronghold... maybe we should try not having a readily available (and therefore vulnerable) base for a little while. This would make it harder for people to hunt us down, and we could still organize for raids with ease if necessary. It'll be a bit tougher to work out, but it'll be pretty fun if we can pull it off. That's going to make things so much harder, we need the supplies in the safe to pull this off (Bonner) (Talk) Dec 13, 16:15
No doubt supplies would be an issue. However, it is entirely possible to procure supplies by searching and trading, it just takes longer. Plus, it'll be annoying as all hell when we successfully raid a faction and they find that we don't even have a stronghold to strike back at. I still think it's worth considering. The sewers by Lightbulb's stronghold seem safe. A Pariah just stood by me and left me alone while I was away all day... Conniving 19:41, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
If we went there, I wouldn't be able to be in the faction. My alt is in Lightbulb. The game would nuke me for zerging. --SPYAdministrator(Complain|I rock|In memoriam)HMRFRAWH 21:18, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Paradise. Maybe we should consider Paradise? I mean, sure, we'd have no protection from planar burn for 24 hours, but that shouldn't be a problem anyway. It's certainly safer! --21:52, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Alright. I'm tired of being pushed around like a bunch of pansies all about Valhalla. So do you know what? I'm leaving.
Nah, just kidding. But really, we need to raid. If we don't take some action, it WILL make leaving a slight temptation for me. I say our first target be the Conclave. Now, my main request here is that everyone attend. In specific, we all list times we will be most available, and on what days. I need as many men as possible.
Second, we'll need a new stronghold. Caspian Heights should be a temporary refuge.
Now, my other issue is supplies. Amphetamines, greater invulnerability potions, and levels are my issue. I say we start to gather the following (in what quantity? Below.):
Flying Potions -- Roses, Gold Ingots, Skulls, Lead Bricks, Paradise Water
Greater Invulnerability Potions -- Roses, Paradise Lillies, Brass, Chunks of Stygian Iron, Holy Water
Healing Potions -- Grave Dirt, Lichens, Roses
Ammunition -- Wood, Rifle Mags, Shotgun Shells
Melee Weapons -- Swords
Levels -- Prefferably 2 a member, specifically so I can get Transcribe Spell for AoEs.
Amphetamines -- lots of these. Bring FAKs too.
In short, we'll need a lot of preparation. Get ready! --Asema 23:53, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
I think it's better if we travel to Stygia and get Bone Leeches. They're lighter. Conniving 13:04, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Please try to remember that we have a Rev in the faction who desperately wants to go on this raid. As such, try to make this raid happen at a time where I won't get sunburn. This might help. —Hinoatalk.kun 14:56, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
I'm finding loads of stuff, but I have nowhere to put them. I've just been healing others for a while now. And we all have to be able to get on at that exact time. Just as nighttime begins would help. Conniving 13:08, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
A friend of mine, spaz, is creating an evil faction. It's only evil in name, really, they just want to SMASH THINGS UP and HAVE FUN. Think you guys could agree? --Asema 01:33, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
More allies for us. Conniving 13:01, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
I was pondering the fact that our rank system doesn't really reflect Uncyclopedia that much, so I came up with a new one and i'm going to put it to the vote:
Grue Fodder would become IP
Wildean Knight would become User
Cool/Sexy Admin would become Admin (or could stay as it is)
Against. Admins and staff? Are you TRYING to bring in Sannse and Starnes? Also, I was under the impression that we wouldn't invite someone that wasn't of "relatively good standing". I mean, I would have liked to invite more people to us, but we should save such ranks for cases in which we're inviting non-Uncyclopedians. Conniving 20:55, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
Against. No, thank you. Although new ranks would be nice, I'd rather they weren't those. Besides, we may be trying to make progress as a faction -- but that means, more or less, raiding supplies and infusions. --Asema(can't we resolve this?) 03:05, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
