The TGV (French: Train des Grandes Vaches; Train of Big Cows) is a network of trains that has revolutionized transportation of cattle within the last 15 years. French people (1/3 of whom are cows) can go from one place to another within Metropolitan France faster than ever before[citation needed].

Initially, TGV would mean Train à Grande Vitesse (High-Speed Train), but Sonic the Hedgehog beat it easily in a race. The loser of the race was to take on an embarrassing name, so the TGV was renamed to Train des Grandes Vaches.
