You can go about your business without having to mention some variation of "TKF sucks but..." in every post. Especially the ones where it's completely irrelevant. So yeah, don't do that. --Littleboyonly TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Oldmanonly 16:02, August 20, 2012 (UTC)

TFK sucks? A compliment in some circles. On your destruction of the awards, the vote was written and being voted upon in such a way as to vacate the Foolitzer and the yearly awards, so of course I strongly objected. I'm surprised others hadn't already pointed those things out. Using writer of the month as a catch-all kind of defeats its unstated purpose as a "Hall of Fame" selection. So I'm glad the Foolitzer was saved, that's a good and honored award by those who've won it (hasn't Funnybony won all of them?). I haven't had time or the large interest in trying to do something about the horrendous screen we have to now bypass as we long on, I missed that discussion. But we could do it better, no? Yes! Alright, I'll sadly stop pointing out that you suck on every occasion, and will unsuck myself. That's the way of the world. Aleister 16:12 82012

edit The peacock thing

I read this article and laughed the whole way through. There is a real solid maturity in your extravagant and wordy prose in this article...where you walk the line between cheesy and flat, boring and stupid, meaningless and esoteric...and you did it really well and made me laugh hard. Thanks for the laughs...and I hope you keep up the same standards and style in your next articles. --ShabiDOO 00:57, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

...of UnNews of course! Nothing like a good killing spree to jack up the ratings. Snowflake mini Mattsnow 00:57, December 15, 2012 (UTC)

What killing spree? Aleister 1:02 ides of december
I didn't write anything for 6 months except the Lance Unnews. I didn't know the admins wanted to change anything. I guess they kept m out of the loop lol. Snowflake mini Mattsnow 06:30, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
Six months! I'm glad we came back at the same time. Nah, it sounds like a few people have organized a new server, but I have no idea if it will tear the site apart. Some of those people have advocated destroying the site, and talk it down, so just picking it up and moving it (where will google and bing point to?) is iffy. Much discussion, and discussees, will roam the halls in the next couple of weeks. I liked the Lance unnews, that pic is a classic. Al seven hours later
Do you get the feeling that it is a not so funny elaborate joke or do you think they are serious? --ShabiDOO 15:39, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
Didn't think it may be a joke. That would be nice. Because if people like Matt, you, and others were kept in the dark, it sounds like the people working on this may or may not have more plans nobody else knows about. I would say we make this site as good as possible - with some WIKIA negotiation - and if the new site is competent, fun, and interesting, we can transfer our articles there as well. I would just hope everyone transfers all their new articles to both sites, at least if we can get WIKIA to give a little. For me lots of my problem with them is in the new "warning" template to get into the site. Rewording and redesign at a minimum. But WIKIA has been good so far in not trying to lay yellow-page type ads on us. I miss the boobs (sigh) that's so 1950s to censor us like that. So, more communication all around seems like the thing to do. Unless it's a joke. But WIKIA is a joke too. Time to edit! Aleister 17:49 151212
It's not a joke, guys, but nor is it anything against you lot. We have kept the matter under wraps not as some sort of conspiracy, but out of concern for both Wikia's reaction and for the impact it would have on the community as a whole. In the past, Wikia has given other projects that have left or tried to leave, such as Illogicopedia and the russian Uncyclopedia, considerable trouble, even going so far as to block all the admins involved and censor messaged in some cases, and this was something we hoped to avoid. The impact the knowledge has on a community, too, can be damaging, as if we know we are going to leave, what is the point contributing to this one? Now that wouldn't necessarily be an issue for a few weeks during transition, but this project has been in the works for months and thus getting folks' hopes up or what have you would not have helped matters any had we announced it in May, as in May we were nowhere near ready from a technical standpoint to actually move. Now that we are, hopefully the collateral damage can be mitigated and we can continue to write largely uninterrupted.
And yes, we do need to move. Not for any one thing - the censorship is silly, the content warning is annoying, the broken skins are troublesome, the lack of general support... well, who can really blame them, considering we don't pay them anything, etc - but as a whole, it just adds up to Wikia not being a good fit for Uncyclopedia. And when things aren't a good fit, it falls to us to find a good fit - or in this case, to make it. And we can do that, but we also do need your input and support or we will just have a repeat of Wikia all over again. -— Lyrithya 18:51, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
Hi. I really have to sign off, so could you please copy your nice comment here to the forum page (I think starting a new forum page with this exact comment might be a good idea}. Thanks. Aleister 18:58 15Decemb12

edit Re your talk on my talk page

First, I was delighted to vote for beating off. I wouldn't recommend you beat off in public, unless you like people to point at you horrified and spend a couple days in a dirty jail cell where guys jack off every 10 minutes.

Second, yes, it is way too soon to make fun of the massachre and I really hope no one does it on uncyclopedia, for, at least a month if not a year. Im not a fan of laughing at/about children dying...until its been at least a few months afterwards or a year, in which case, when written well, children dying is helarious.

I googled kangaroo hopscotch. Its, infact, a popular meme. There is my results included a costume for children, which has a thumbnail image of a child wearing one, who seems to have a furry weiner sticking out from the crotch. Then there is an essay on how awful hopscotch is with suggestions on how to improve it: "Jump in the mucus filled pouch of a kangaroo and guide her towards the goal." That would obviously be awsome if you could catch or buy a kangaroo. There is a kangaroo toy with the name hotscotch, which is not funny at all. Then there was the video...which makes me wonder if all those movies of cool university students having killer parties, is really true or maybe this is what kids at your religious evangelical universities do for fun on Saturday. And here is a short movie that I know you won't enjoy...but probably the majority of uncyclopedias will love or secretely love.

Fourth...have a nice evening.

--ShabiDOO 04:02, December 19, 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your research into Kangaroo hopskotch, I knew nothing about this widespread phenomena, the two words just fit together. Your gay movie was gay. And if anyone starts mocking the children being killed they have to answer to everyone at Wikia, who will censor them immediately and explore their holes with lit firecrackers. I mean being killed by a single shooter, not the liberating drone strikes ordered by the United States government which kills children like they're bowling pins on the receiving end of a perfect game. You can still make fun of them, and if you don't the terrorists win. hahahahahahahahaha, drone strikes, hahahahaheeheeheeheehee. Aleister 11:30 19decemb12

My thing never felt it. Oh, you mean Kamek's page. I don't know if I'll help him much on it, it's kind of scary (especially to women, who liked being stalked about as much as geese like walking their chicks across a highway). Enlighten me, are you perma-banned here or is that just a joke on your user page? Either way, are you editing at will again? In my long absence I've forgotten who you were, but the name does ring a bell. If you have minutes of your life to waste, can you do me a favor and look at this turned over soil. It's a long way from ready but I've chipped away at it from time to time and want to make it at least very good, and rub that one editor at wikipedia's face in it. Turning more serious by the second, I have missed you and your doings here, and am still shocked that people let you live. Happy all the holidays. Aleister 4:24 BoxingDay'12
Nah - not banned. Just not hanging around much any more as I got annoyed at the direction this place was going. I'm just here at the moment as I have a couple of days off and I wandered past on my way to the local pub. I probably won't ever be back in full force now - way too much happening IRL.                               Puppy's talk page05:14 26 Dec
See, that's what happens when people ban a very good and regular user, they find a real life and actually try to live in it. Puppy, I hope you change your mind at some point and come back more. Last I read you were working on the site off a phone, which is not the way to go, it's much too hard and your thumbs get sore. Better on a full keyboard and screen. Anyway, sadness at your post, as the site is much more fun with you here. The terrorists have won, at least in your case. Al time is nonexistent, it just feels so good sometimes

edit Grand Rapids, Michigan on VFH

Thanks for your praise on the nomination page. Now, please: Douglas Adams? The initial quote has been in the article for six years, and this month I changed the ending to be a little snobbier, but do you have any idea how Douglas Adams would relate to Grand Rapids? I found out who he is, and that there is an undercurrent of atheism that's a cute counterpoint to this religious city, but otherwise I see no connection. Is there a better example? an artist who is as snobby as I've made Mr. Adams, or who would be truly appalled to be arriving in Grand Rapids? Spıke ¬ 17:51 30-Dec-12

No idea. I added to the quote. I don't use top quotes on pages I work on, except in the case of a feature collab with the 92 vandal. Maybe he spoke there once, or was visiting a friend. He may have driven through town on his way to someplace else. There is no ryme or reason, you know that. Al here and now

Well, it would be better with rhyme or reason. Or both. I do recall reading that he was dead. But the gag, "Oh, wait--I'm dead!" is a digression; the point of the quote is being mortified to find one's self in G.R.--not mortification of the literal kind. Spıke ¬ 18:09 30-Dec-12

PS--And one doesn't drive through Grand Rapids on one's way to anywhere else, the ferry across Lake Michigan not being what it once was. Spıke ¬ 18:14 30-Dec-12

PPS--I do know one artist associated with the city--he even attended the unveiling of his sculpture: Alexander Calder; and the article only gets cuter when it suggests that the quote is from him on that day in 1969. (He too went beyond "feeling like death.") Spıke ¬ 22:55 30-Dec-12

Really like the change to Calder, at least it's relevant. I thought Calder was a frenchman, shows you the undepth of my knowledge. Since you're on this talk page, have you read my vfh nom on Claudette Colvin? If you have and didn't like it, never mind. I'm watching Adrian Peterson going for the single season yardage record in American football. He already owned the single game recrod. Al maybe seconds later, maybe hours.

I do remember reading this. The Intro pulled me in even to read an Aleister paean to an American Civil Rights hero, but when I jumped in, it was hyperventilation, it was performance art, and I moved on to do something else, shovel snow, probably. Right now, I am of course listening to the New England Patriots PWN Miami on the radio. Spıke ¬ 23:58 30-Dec-12
