editCandide

Candide was a pseudonym of the late philosopher, traveller and celebrated songwriter, Voltaire. Candide was one of the first ever recorded cases of a sockpuppet.

editHistorical Background

Candide was born in around 1759 in Westphalia, in the castle of Baron-ten-trunks. He studied under the watchful eyes of Dr. Pengorn, a metaphyician (a wiki sysop dedicated to Metawikis), many subjects including Philanthropy, Bureaucracy and Public Relations/Human Relations Management Skills. Soon after leaving the castle amid a Political scandal involving one of the Baron's handmaidens. (Candide was kicked -literally- out of Paradise, with nothing more than a pad and paper to document his apology and a good reason to be re-admitted into the castle.)

editSarcasm

Sarcasm is jeering, being rude, making fun of or generally mocking anyone or anything. I mean, look around you. Can't you see that this is a cheap, poorly designed and sprawling mess of an uncyclopedia. Not even a woman with a map would be able to find their way round here.

Being Doubtful is when you cannot believe in your... wait.I'm running on vapours...Maybe this should be moved to QuickVFD. I mean it's a candidate for NRV. Hang on-Oh, I see! Being Doubtful is when you do not believe in yourself whatsoever. Is that right? One moment.

Here it is - "Self Doubt, or Doubt is uncertainty in the context of trust (where it takes the form of distrust), action, decision or belief. It implies challenging some notion of reality in effect, and may involve hesitating to take a relevant action due to concern that one might be mistaken or at fault."You blatantly copied that from wikipedia! Somebody will come and remove this article!

editDoubt as a Fear

According to some sources, Doubt is a fear, a part of a greater phobia, often originating as a child. This is incredulous. Like doubt could be a phobia. Like I'm scared of being in the wrong! Am I? Please tell me! I'm not too sure.

Unfortunately, this has the nasty tendency to go on an infinite loop:

• I'm scared
• I doubt I'm scared
• I refute the above
• I scared of my doubt of doubt. No that's not right. I doubt that my doubt is doubtful.
• I doubt that doubting will make me doubtful about doubting! Good Lord! Infinite Loop! Don't Panic, Don't Panic!

editCynicism

“A Cynic Knows the Price-tag of everything, and the value of nothing”
~ Oscar Wilde on Cynicism
Being Cynical is to not see any worth, point, sentimental value or money making schemes available from an article or anything else in the else in the Wikiverse. Usually involves Sarcasm

editHow to be Cynical

Well, let's start with the basics. Say your local choir comes to school, and puts on a very rushed and cheesy performance. Now, desperately wanting to be cynical you have several options to look at:

• Write, in great detail, a scathing critism of all the performance and submit as an open letter to the Prinicipal
