English
Noun
one (plural ones (if you use "ones", you might as well use another number))
- an entirely abstract entity within the realm of mathematics and philosophy (note Rene Descartes' "cogito, ergo sum", I think, therefore I am) sometimes but almost never known as the multiplicative identity over the trivials, naturals, integers, rationals, reals, algebraics, complexes, and most inner product spaces, which is neither prime nor composite nor fond of wine, and which many renowned sociologists have deemed the loneliest of its species
- an entity that is subject to division in the minds of humans
