Xes are used to assess height, Ms are used to assess width. I want the maximum length demonstrated in ems. The current version makes us look amateurish and I feel ashamed. SmackBot 18:18, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
What if a user puts something like {{n00blet}} in their sig and it occasionally exceeds length? (I can guess that it is not allowed, but I had to ask.) VGD>=3 18:11, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
What is this, Fascismpedia? No, it isn't! Le Cejak•<23:55, 31 May 2008>
Hmmm....a lot of this seems a bit bullshitty. Apart from avoid whoring articles it also says the sub and sup tags aren't allowed - but people use them anyway. ANARCHY my friends! - [20:58 10 July] SirFStDonYettie
Only because famine has been gone for a while. Would you like someone else to start enforcing the sig rules? You would? Ok then! •Spang•☃•talk• 21:12, 10 Jul 2008
Oh yes please, do enforce these rules! Ha! None of my sigs break the rules! Ha ha! Ahhhh....don't ban me, please don't ban me! - [21:16 10 July] SirFStDonYettie
editDo we really need to enforce these things so strongly?
15px height is like really really small and 55 Xs is actually pretty short, considering that this site is supposedly trying to uphold the image of a humour wiki. I'm not saying I'd like everyone to have a huge sig with huge images, but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a sig with small images which are still large enough to actually see what's on them or maybe some clever phrase in it that's slightly longer than 55Xs once in a while. —SirSocky(talk)(stalk)GUNSotMUotMPMotMUotYPotMWotM22:37, 28 September 2011
The maximum image height was 12px. We already increased it to 15px to oblige the masses, but even this causes line-height issues when one winds up immediately above another, thus making it even more important that folks don't go over this. But you of all people should know this; you were one of those who helped decide the current maximum. 1234~22:59, 28 September 2011
Well, yes it can cause line-height issues, but even with images like 30px high, I've observed said issues to be rather minor. The severity of line-height issues might differ from browser to browser, though. —SirSocky(talk)(stalk)GUNSotMUotMPMotMUotYPotMWotM23:41, 28 September 2011
Why isn't my signature coloured the way I want it to be?
The "Bp" part of it should be blue (0000FF), and the "2611" should be gold (FFD700).--Bp2611 14:46, July 1, 2012 (UTC)
