  • It appears this template does not categorize the page itself, but that talk page it is placed on. While I see the reasoning behind moving maintenance templates to the talk pages, it might also result in their overuse. If, for example a {{rewrite}} is placed on 60% of the pages, it really wouldn't be helpful at that point. --Mn-z 23:59, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

      • Part of the point of these things is that people see them, not only so they know the articles in question could use whatever, but so they know the things exist, and that their categories exist.
