Don't play dumb. I set out what happened at the start of the Delete section below, and we discussed it, completely and relatively privately, on your talk page. I am dead serious that if you engineer a Keep vote with a promise, and then break the promise, you don't prevail in the vote. Otherwise I can save any article by a throwaway promise to work on it--to quote P.D.Q. Bach, "If I feel like it." And we are all wasting our time here--or more precisely, you are wasting our time here. Spıke ¬ 01:05 15-Mar-11
I am not so attached to any article (especially this one in the state its in now) that I would beg people to keep it on with no intention to work on it. I admire you spike with how quick you work to save an article. But Im not you spike. I had a competition to administer and PLS in the mean time and dont have hours a day to touch stuff. If you want to set some rule right now that things have to be done whenever you say, so be it. I didnt break any promise, I just didnt do stuff as fast as you. Fine, do whatever you guys want with this. --ShabiDOO 01:14, March 15, 2011 (UTC)

    • I know it has nothing to do with the film... consider what an ironic feeling of serenity might be. A car in the desert: serene, yet hopeless. -- Tinypony Sir "TheSlyPony" Invariably certifiable. 05:25, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
Could be good as part of article on serenity(feeling) but doesn't really stand on its own in my opinion. We'll see what others think. Jackofspades (talk) 05:31, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
  • Hyperbole, if an article on the film is what is expected of us, then I would agree that mine is irrelevant. Would it be better to put what we have here in a separate article on serenity (emotion) like Jack said, then further develop it with some short paragraphs? If that sounds good, we could just move it to my userspace and I'll take it from there. -- Tinypony Sir "TheSlyPony" Invariably certifiable. 23:53, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
I do enjoy your photo--and larger than our usual lead-off photo--just didn't think it was a complete Uncyclopedia article, more properly a good invitation into one. A few good paragraphs solves that problem. In that case, in my opinion, Serenity the emotion should be Serenity and there should be a separate Serenity (movie). Spıke ¬ 23:58 12-Mar-11
I think that if we keep this article as just Serenity it will get vandalized with added content having to do with the film. If we make it clear we also have a page on the movie idiots won't do that (probably.) I'll see what I can do with the film. Jackofspades (talk) 00:14, March 13, 2011 (UTC)

It didn't take nine, except that one of them started a campaign to slap this on user pages after nominator explained the problem and offered a better work-around. Now, I famously interfere with VFD votes by trying to convert bad pages to good, but this effort converts an orphan bad page to a widely referenced bad page, which seems like gaming the vote. 6. Symbol keep vote Keep. "It's not that long" ~ Some Guy on Reasons Why People Create Articles With Horribly Long Titles For No Apparent Reason, Hoping Somebody Will Randomly Stumble Upon It And Remark On The Length Of The Title, But Then Forgets About It In Five Minutes Later Because Their Gay Granny Had A Seizure, which is an article thats not really that long on closer inspection, but could be longer if it used words of a nature that don't really make any sense to the article in question and just start to make a sort of random speech and somehow carry on the speech without needing a period, full stop, question mark, exclamation point, or any other kind of sentence stopping device, but will inevitable need one as the speech will just keep going on and on and on and on for eternity, ad infinitum, forever, infinitively, until they die, until the speaker's voice disappears, until everybody or almost everybody leaves and thus do not care, which is what some senators try to do to prevent a bill from becoming a law, which is called filibusting... and you know what I mean... oh wait do those count as periods? < that does!! PERIOD FULL STOP... ETC... - Barn-owl LOL vandalz
  7. Keep It was vandalized. Per the VFD rules, Hype would be banned for a week if he were an ordinary user, but he's a temporary op so the rules won't be enforced. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 00:29, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
  8. Symbol keep vote Keep. someone finally got around to shortening so that it no longer breaks the internet. Also, bandwagoning. --Mn-z 02:59, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

  1. This fucking thing takes up nearly half a megabyte and is almost entirely horizontal. It is also not funny. When I tried to add the VFD tag, it crashed my browser. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 22:14, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
  2. Symbol delete vote Delete. Amused the author; does not amuse the reader. Deliberately long sentences, section heads, and so on, is deliberately bad writing, and this article brags about it and dares the reader to take it to VFD. Spıke ¬ 22:30 8-Mar-11

  5. This has been kept several times. I think I voted keep on it on one or two of them. I don't really remember why. It's been vandalized? In any case, I no longer care for it. --Littleboyonly TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Oldmanonly 00:43, March 9, 2011 (UTC)
  6. I looked at an old version. Wasn't so ugly, but it still wasn't funny. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 03:10, 9 March 2011

    • You must be less browser-impaired than I. I use Internet Explorer, mostly to annoy Lyrithya. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 22:45, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
      • You know what an excellent web browser for dealing with huge crap is? Konqueror. You should try it sometime. Excellent web browser, except for the fact that the css it supports seems to be chosen completely at random. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 20:41, 9 March 2011
