Welcome to the Uncyclopedia Votes for Highlight page. To nominate an article, type the name into the box below and follow the directions.
  • Vote for an article you find excellent.
  • Previous featured articles can be found in the VFH archive.
  • Voters: don't be dicks and do be constructive with criticism. Writers: Don't be prima donnas. Be open to criticism.
  • Nominations of articles from all namespaces (including UnNews, UnTunes, HowTo, UnBooks, etc.) are welcomed.
  • If a nomination disappears from this page, it is likely to be found in either the recently featured or recently failed nomination lists.
  • If your article doesn't make it to the front page, don't despair. It may be eligible to be Quasi-featured so long as it meets certain criteria.
Any and all violators of policy will be fucked.

Nominate

Self-nomination regulation: self-nominated articles (i.e. you write an article and then decide to nominate it yourself) no longer require a pee review. Pee Review is still highly recommended for newer users. Do not clog up VFH with poor quality self-nominated articles... or else.

VFH is not a discussion page. If you'd like constructive criticism for your article, please submit it to Uncyclopedia:Pee Review.

  1. Symbol for vote For.Self-nomination. Originally a rather odd article, but I slowly rewrote pretty much the entire article. So you like things long... Ahem. Well, I must admit that I rarely read long UP articles, and that I find it good as it is. Ideas on how to expand it...Ahem... Would be great. WeatherUnderground (talk) 20:28, February 21, 2017 (UTC)
Just look at the Wikipedia article. Their chronology includes sections on a period of "inactivity" spanning ten years (Certainly they were doing something?), "Aborted comeback" (It begs for some Roadrunner-style episodes of futile attempts to "come back"), and "Acrimony" as one member peddled some crap and called it Neu! The latter-day album Brand Neu! seems to have nothing to do with the band at all, but with bands that claimed to have been influenced by it; in other words, hype and fakery. "Tributes" (beware the list of tiny entries, and do more than write down puns) invites an invitation of things that owe to the band, such as Neu! Hampshire and Neu! Zealand (and how they relate). Surely you can hit this slow curveball. Spıke Radiomicrophone20:42 21-Feb-17

  1. Symbol against vote Against. This is awful. The only comedy strategies are ridicule and randomness. Descends into tedious lists. Someone who looks up Scientist doesn't want a rant about Scientology, though a punnish section would fit. Spıke Radiomicrophone16:04 13-Feb-17
  2. Against. The whole scientist/Scientology thing doesn't work. If you want to make jokes about Scientology, it's better to add to the actual Scientology article. There's a few good laughs here and there, but not good enough to make it a featured article. Better luck next time! WeatherUnderground (talk) 15:13, February 21, 2017 (UTC)

  • Poor rationale for article redacted--HolUp (talk) 08:21, January 28, 2017 (UTC)
Strikes me that PerfumeRepair watched one episode and wrote a wisecracking blog. I haven't watched the show but don't see much of a comedy strategy here. • Very hard to slog through, from the passives in the first sentence to the Bible citations in the second. The payoff is that Biblical commandments are mostly ludicrous (which could be funny) or that Bible-quoters are hypocrites (which dances on the line of advocacy). Keep working on it. 1. Symbol against vote Against. This is a checklist of things fake news does, followed by an example; this reads more like a definition for undictionary. From the title I was expecting something over the top and close to ED territory like Pizzagate, which would demonstrate how apparently libel laws don't apply to the internet or during election seasons. • Although nominally related to the U.S. "Fake News" hysteria, the strategy of repeatedely stating a journalistic rule and then violating it in the same sentence comes across as mechanical as a "Page in the style of the thing it's about." Spıke Radiomicrophone02:30 4-Jan-17
