For Good story it seems like everything has gone down the crapper because of the recent ecnomic slowdown. --—The preceding unsigned comment was added bySawblade5 (talk • contribs) 21:22, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
For. It will take weeks before this pops up anyway. StyleGuide 10:31, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
For Why has this not been featured?Saberwolf116 22:30, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Because I didn't nom it until it was a good four hours old. You can't just nom articles right out of the shoot; articles are like wine, they get better with age. —SirSysRq (talk) 23:31, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
For.Nice job, should be featured by now...Godlovesmebutnotyou 18:13, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Against. Too recently in the news. McMajik 19:32, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Pardon me, but is this a namespace based vote? What do you mean, 'too recently in the news'? sirsysrq@ 14:42 Dec 10
No, i mean its just been on the front page, in unnews. So putting it on the front page again, this soon after its been in the unnews, is kinda pointless. --McMajik - stealing yer face 'till the cows come home. 11:08, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
We feature UnNews articles all the time. This being an UnNews article should have no influence over your vote. sirsysrq@ 22:53 Dec 13
Thats my point. I'm of the opinion that an article that has been on the front page so recently, and therefore fresh in most peoples memories, should be put on the front page again so soon. Its not because its an unnews article - its because its still on the front page in unnews. If you look at the featured article, then go through unnews, chances are you don't want to read the same article twice. I know i don't, so i voted against it. --86.159.58.126 22:05, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
VFH is not about putting articles on the front page. It's about highlighting great articles and rewarding their authors with a little sumpin' sumpin'. As far as I'm concerned, this is a namespace-based vote. sirsysrq@ 00:22 Dec 15
...You can't just decide its a namespace based vote when my reason for not wanting it is that its just been on the front page. Show me an unnews article that's not only just been on the front page, and thats pretty funny, and i'll vote for it. I'm not voting against this because it's an unnews article! I'm voting against it because I think that the featured article should be something most people haven't seen before/in a while! Something thats funny, but hasn't just been brought to most peoples attention recently enough that their disapointed when they don't see something fresh on the front page. Thats my opinion, and i voted accordingly. Aren't you meant to vote based on your opinion? --McMajik - stealing yer face 'till the cows come home. 14:29, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
You're meant to vote based on the article's merit, and not based on whether or not it is an UnNews article. If this were not an UnNews article, then this wouldn't have been on the Recent UnNews list. sirsysrq@ 21:55 Dec 15
No, if you dislike the article, then by all means, vote against. Vote the way you want, just please do not base it on namespace prejudice. Thank you. I will strike your vote for now, you may undo it if you still want to vote against. sirsysrq@ 14:48 Dec 18
