For. Great article! FDR told the Americans that "the only thing to fear is. . .fear itself" and they've been afraid ever since. Republicans and establishment figures welcome their fear. I'm afraid I must vote for this page. Aleister 2:10 8 1 '11
For. Also, for the record, there are many ways to write about many things in many styles. There is no right way to write, nor is there a write way to right. There may, however, be a Wright way to rite. --TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK 05:23, January 8, 2011 (UTC)
Against - Shame on you! Fear is the backbone of society. --Kip > Talk•Works•• 15:22, Jan. 8, 2011
As always, I dislike mocking the political wings by exaggerating them into caricatures--it's too close to what real political commentators do in dead seriousness. Author graciously toned it down for me, but the portrayal of irrational fears versus the "facts" is still overtly pro-Obama (as is natural when Anderson Cooper is your Source). Bickering ideological bookends, exclamation points, and finally, swears, break the resemblance to a news story. Spıke¬ 22:44 7-Jan-11
Actually, I beg to differ. As you said, real political commentators do this all in dead seriousness. Who are real political commentators? Journalists (in the loosest sense of the word). Unfortunately this is what "news" has devolved to in this day and age. Is not the essence of satire exaggeration to make a point? - Not particularly sincere, Sir ColinAYBCUNVFHWhoringMore Whoring at03:02, Sunday 09 January 2011 -
