Article: UnNews:Chuck Norris on secularism: the single greatest threat that America has ever faced

Score: 16 guys who are much nuttier in reality than any mere internet meme

Nominated by: Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 06:21, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
For: 16
  1. SN+F Yes, Chuck is a meme. This is not the meme Chuck. This is the real Chuck. The real Chuck is a far-Right wacko. Like a squirrel, he's full of nuts. I shit you not. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 06:21, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
  2. For. The ultimate Pac Man for your arteries? You're killing me.--DRStrangesig5 Sherman Fingertalk  12:41, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
  3. Strong for. Win. Colossal amounts of win. The article would be plenty good enough on its own, but when you realise how much of it comes from Chuck's own article, and is neatly subverted, it's sodding brilliant. Modus, I'm gonna go out right now and buy a hat so I can take it off to you. --UU - natter UU Manhole 14:25, Mar 3
  4. Weak For. There are a few reasons for this: First, those ads take up way too much space, second, I'm a Republican. Sorry. I was born that way. However, I can recognize good writing. Kudos, Modus. :) Necropaxx (T) {~} 16:59, Mar 3
Really? You're a Republican? Because Conservapedia told me that Uncyc has no Republican users. Kinda makes you wonder just how accurate that site really is. Then again, they are the trustworthy encyclopedia... Sir SysRq (talk) 20:24, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
I actually made an account over there just to check it out (and maybe promote conservatively biased articles from here), and before I had made five edits, I was permabanned! "For not using your first name and last initial, thou hast been blocked." Necropaxx (T) {~} 16:45, Mar 5
Wow, are you serious? That's delicious. Sir SysRq (talk) 00:25, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
  5. For. Obviously. -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 17:01, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
  6. For. although, to nit pick, some of your ads are dated (referencing cruises that already happened) Mnb'z 17:04, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
  7. W♥v. I've liked this article since Modus first put it out there. Since then, he's put more work into this article than I think I've ever seen any one writer put into an article. And the work shows, this is a very complete article. Oh, and it's classic satire. Oh, and it's hilarious. Sir SysRq (talk) 20:23, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
  8. For -OptyC Sucks! Icons-flag-us CUN21:43, 3 Mar
  9. Afraid of violent death for It's Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris jokes are always funny. (Also, I wouldn't dare vote against Norris)--Smokin' Cheddar BBQ: The King of the Triangular Snackfoods 00:39, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
I think what you mean to say is "wow, it's a Chuck Norris article that's actually funny". Sir SysRq (talk) 00:52, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
  10. absolutely. hats off again, modus. SirGerrycheeversGunTalk 16:53, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

  • Pee Review here. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 06:21, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
  • I squished the ads a bit (I can't just remove them, because Wordnetdaily is at least as kooky as Chuck), and updated, swapping a couple of obsolete ads for Ray Comfort's latest book (real WND ad) and Coulter's latest book (autographed! Available from WND!). Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:11, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
    • Wow, you serious? If you hadn't have said anything, I would have said "lol nd guud job on dat joek bout dat ray cmofort buk it maed me lol." Or something along those lines. Sir SysRq (talk) 21:46, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
      • Conservapedia is good for ideas. WND (and Townhall.com, which is essentially WND with the added insanity of reader comments) is a mine. A mine of comedy. Comedy gold. (news.aol.com and freerepublic.com have the occasional nugget, as well). Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 22:24, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
        • So, it's like a mine of gold? Imagine. Sir SysRq (talk) 00:03, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
          • Hey, I reviewed this! Just a note, I've removed the adverts, hope you don't mind. --The preceding signed comment was added by Projectmayhem666 (talk • contribs). 17:42, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
            • Well yeah - the ads are an important part of the article, look at his comments. Leave them be, they're part of the parody of the site the original article is from. --UU - natter UU Manhole 16:15, Mar 5
