The fence is spiky but I can't get down, I'd get off and play but I'm afraid I'd drown, so I had a look and what do you know, they cleared out the water and there's grass below! -–Llwy-ar-lawr•talk•contribs•20:0011 Oct2014
Against. Agree with the above. "Pwned" is lazy, the quotes are pretty lame (lol penis) and the King Kong thing is so tired and borderline racist (and tired). Also *tattoos* is a completely unrelated topic right in the middle of his career. It has potential, but there is quite a bit of trash surrounding it. Nikau (talk) 11:35, September 27, 2014 (UTC)
Comment. I dumped the quotes and the Kong, but it needs the pwned to go to be close to a feature. Nikau (talk) 11:50, September 27, 2014 (UTC)
The image you removed was a collage borrowed from Wikipedia, whose purpose was to prove that the way LeBron was portrayed on the cover of Vogue was racist (the very right image). That's pretty complicated to understand, but it's definitely not racism.
Concerning the "pwned" part, I agree that it could be rephrased. Anton(talk) Uncyclopedia United 11:58, September 27, 2014 (UTC)
Comment. The joke beneath the image was definitely borderline, unless saying the father of a black man is an ape is accepted now. --Nikau (talk) 13:51, September 27, 2014 (UTC)
I reworded the caption and restored the image. If anyone was racist in this case, it was Vogue. But I don't think even they were racist. Wouldn't you be proud if you were the King Kong's son? No? Just joking. Anton(talk) Uncyclopedia United 17:11, September 27, 2014 (UTC)
No, because comparing black people to King Kong is a really old and tired, borderline racist, joke. The vast majority of readers will find it less funny than Wildeisms. The whole popped out of his mother and has no father section is lazy stereotyping. Like I said, 50% is funny and 50% subtracts from the first, so you reach a mediocre article. --Nikau (talk) 05:56, September 28, 2014 (UTC)
Apologies for my comment earlier. I'm glad to see it reverted. Separately, I can't make up my mind on this article; it's better than Shaquille O'Neal, another basketball-related article, but doesn't quite click with me. I also don't much care for assertions that articles 'need more work' but fail to specify what, exactly, is needed. At least this isn't Pee Review. -–Llwy-ar-lawr•talk•contribs•19:3211 Oct2014
