  1. N+F - I always thought this one was a treat for the Dune lovers. Is it hot in here or is it me? ~Jewriken.GIF 16:50, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
  2. For. Leddy recently read Dune. I think that might be partly my fault. He should be okay. He's got one of the big lockers. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 17:03, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
    Sandworm

About the sandworm, I mean something like this.

It's really comfortable in here! I have pillows and a flashlight and books and a gameboy and a list of people to kill after I begin my new world order. - T.L.B. Baloon WotM, UotM, FPrize, AotM, ANotM, PLS, UN:HS, GUN 00:23, Jan 23
  3. For. But why is there no picture of a sandworm in the article?

  5. For. True story following: I was at my public library, and I saw one of those Dune books. I read the inside flap. Then I put the book down, and never set foot in that library again. Also, wonderful parody. Necropaxx (T) {~} 16:24, Jan 20
  6. For I just recently read the article for the first time yesterday, and didn't even realize it was up for VFH! Colin Explode fireALL YOUR BASEExplode fireHeaney! Casa Bey Superfly Portfolio 21:18, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
  7. For. Never read any of the books. I may get round to it one day. But there's still enough win in this for my vote. --UU - natter UU Manhole 13:04, Jan 21
  8. For. Good stuff! Maybe even as good as That time I was nearly raped by Feyd Rautha Harkonnen during my sojourn in Dune. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 18:01, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

  1. present don't understand the topic enough to vote on it (present is like an abstain, not as forceful). --Mnbvcxz 17:43, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Can we even show up on VFH and vote "present"? Apparently, Yes We Can! Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 18:03, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Comment The movie is really boring, except for the scene where Sting gets killed - I could watch that over and over again. I'm sure the book is a fascinating metaphor for modern society's dependence on oil and the resulting politics - I plan on reading it when I get around to War and Peace, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and the "Flowers In The Attic" series.--DRStrangesig5 Sherman Fingertalk  20:11, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Also comment Sockpuppet of an unregistered user: It's got a worm. A scary worm. It's all spicey and it goes "Rawr!" and everything! (If you want to change a pic, go ahead) Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 00:00, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Further also comment. *Pbbt!* That pic you inserted on this page, Sock, is from the new series. See the water? Dork. Everybody knows that Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson have butchered the series. Each Dune book that they write is worse than the one that preceded it. I know this because I buy them all, and will continue to do so until they stop, because I'm such a terrible nerd and can't get enough Dune, even a Dune so hopelessly mired in mediocrity. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 05:40, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Comment. I'm missing something here. IronLung 07:13, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
