BeenProofread Template

Well I was bored today and figured a way to possibly advertise the service. Whenever we proofread an article we should paste this template, {{BeenProofread}} onto the owner of the articles page. Here's what it looks like:
Bmup smaller The Proofreading Service has proofreaded your article. Like it? Need more proofreading? Click here!

I know I ripped off the old template, but oh well. =P Hope this helps!
-Scout JoshHJ's Page and His Talk 23:15, 29 May 2007 (UTC) Edit: Well it looks like the links don't work, but they do work on all other pages. I don't know why they don't work on this one...

Links to the page they are on dont show up, its ok :)
Thanks for that btw, thats a really cute little template and could definately be useful. However, I'd recommend putting it on the talk pages rather than the actual article, as it doesn't really relate to users page as we have many very prolific writers here who have several of their articles proofread. Also with wikis being mass collaboration tools, there is often several ppl working on an article, so the articles talk page would be a more relevant place to attach it.
Also, usually we don't "tick" pages as done til the original author has had a chance to say they are happy with it!
I really love how the Uncyc community have gotten behind this project and contribute things like this! Makes me so proud :) ~ Dame Ceridwyn ~ talk DUN VoNSE arc2.0 11:54, 29 May 2007

Oh I know, I meant the talk page of the user or the article. Though the talk page of the article would be better I see now. I never meant the actual article though. That'd overdue it. --Scout JoshHJ's Page and His Talk 00:06, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

UnBooks:Practical Lessons on Communism

The kids speak kidspeak, but Teacher, the narrator and Dexter should speak polite English. Could you please? -- herr doktor needsAraygun Rocket [scream!] 23:42, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Certainly! I'll be along to tidy it up post haste! Ceridwyntalk contribs arc2.0 11:52, 04 May 2007
Well, /dusts hands I think thats about done. Let me know if you agree with the edits. I tidied up Teacher's grammar quite a bit and there may be a few tiny tweaks here and there to make it read more smoothly. Hope its ok! Ceridwyntalk contribs arc2.0 12:14, 05 May 2007
Very nice. The only thing I reverted was the "Yes, but" instead of the "Well," at the ending. I think the previous form was subtler. Here, a token of recognition:

I saw the revert, and I agree, my edit made it sound like Communism was in fact, bad! /gasp! Ceridwyntalk contribs arc2.0 12:41, 05 May 2007 00:41, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
Of course I think Communism is horrible, but maybe it's more clever not stating this so clearly. Saying "Communism is horrible" indirectly is the function of the whole article. ;) -- herr doktor needsAraygun Rocket [scream!] 00:44, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
Ssssshh don't let the Premier hear you saying that! Ceridwyntalk contribs arc2.0 12:48, 05 May 2007

You're meant to wait til I answer if I can keep a secret or not! What if I'm actually an undercover operative for a pro-Communist movement. Clearly I won't keep the secret then will I! Ceridwyntalk contribs arc2.0 01:08, 05 May 2007

UnNews:National Day of Prayer ruined by godless protestors

  • Due May 8 (GMT). Normally I wouldn't do this; since I'm rarely topical I have weeks to fix a page before it appears. This, however, is topical. Plus it's late and my eyes are blurry. Grammar should be okay. Spelling, too. It's the commas that I'm worried about. Maybe the apostrophes as well. They're sneaky, those apostrophes. /me shakes fists at sky. Damn you, punctuation! --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 11:01, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

I've had a brief look, although I must say, given the subject matter I did consider politely declining. But punctuation is free from denomination :P ~ Dame Ceridwyn ~ talk DUN VoNSE arc2.0 10:13, 07 May 2007

I know, thats why I edited it anyway :P And no, they frighten me too! I'm a Christian. But as I said, punctuation is punctuation regardless of content! Are you happy with the edits MO? Can I move it down to old articles? ~ Dame Ceridwyn ~ talk DUN VoNSE arc2.0 11:26, 07 May 2007
