The article really doesn't contain much humor, neither in its concept nor in its content. Some lines of the article, such as horse-drawn carts being powered by whale blubber, actually were funny. The only problem is only 1 or 2 lines in the entire article were funny at all.

The concept of DST being the cause of global warming is creative, but it really doesn't make for a funny/satirical article.
